We came back because of the Fanuary promotion and had a blast just like the first time. It was Military appreciation night which made it that much more fun. It was a sold out night and the energy was electric. The only downfall was the staff scanning our tickets in the building. The gentleman wasn't properly trained how to scan the tickets. They made us go to the ticket booth and eventually to another VIP booth to finally clear things up so we could enjoy the game. They were relucutant to let us in. It was a huge blunder and hopefully they will look at this as a teachable moment for staff going forward. The actual game was a blast and most of the staff was welcoming.

Born and raised a Blackhawks fan, I came to love the Canes while living in NC and have effectively adopted them as my prime Eastern Conf team since 1997. I attend quite a few games at PNC and the experience is pretty good each time. PNC is a very easy venue to access and have a good time in. I am not a fan of the $20 parking though. This is not a benefit if trying to attract more fans. I sometimes bring my elderly mother and she is able to get around with no issues at the arena. Also, the PNC staff is super helpful and friendly. I can't wait to get back to cheer the Canes on, win or lose!

I highly enjoyed the game as it was the clinching game of the Eastern Conference Finals. The atmosphere was great- the Hurricanes fans were really into the game. You would never have known that they were facing elimination- even at the end when the game was decided the Canes fans never sat down. All in all, a great experience!

This was the first time my son and I sat on the second level of the RBC Center. Most games we are up high in the cheap seats. These seats were great and, as the title of this review indicates, Mario Lemieux was in the box behind us. It was a great game, Stahl brother verses Stahl brother, and Sidney Crosby is always great to watch. Next time we go, we will probably be back on the third level, but this was a night to remember with tickets online from Ticketmaster.

if you've never experienced a Stanley Cup playoff game, you should consider it. i'm not much of a sports fan, but NHL hockey hooked me from the first time i went to a Carolina Hurricanes game. there's so much see, with that non-stop energy of the players and the atmosphere of the RBC Center is electric. my husband prefers baseball, but for me, hockey is THE game. tail-gaiting before the game, having excellent seats and the enthusiasm of the crowd: hockey has it all. now, i wish the 'Canes could have beaten Pittsburgh in that Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final, but that wasn't to be. still, we got to see the eventual Stanley Cup champions, which was pretty cool.

What a great game. We kept hearing about how loud the arena would be, but the Canes were no match for the Penguins. A lot of Canes fans were being poor sports, but I guess no one likes losing. Especially not as bad as the Penguins destroyed them!!!

I got my ticket the day before the game, drove up to Raleigh, and saw a great game! Well, it was 6-2, so it was probably more enjoyable to me and my fellow Pens fans. But the Canes fans were great, and the RBC center was a great place to watch a hockey game!

The Penquins beat the 'Canes in Raleigh and the Pittsburgh fans were obnoxious. They were taunting our goalie. They took over the upper bowl at the RBC Center. I don't know where the 'Canes fans were.

Spending 22 years of my life in Pittsburgh, I jumped on the opportunity to see Game 3 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Carolina Hurriscanes. It was especially "cool" since my best friend from College came in from Atlanta. We paired up with some good friends (Canes fans) and rocked a tail gate party. Lots of fun. As for the game, Carolina scored first.. and was in command until a late 2 goal outburst by the Pens to close the 1st period. From there, the Pens gradually took the game over and went on to a 6-2 victory. From there, they went on to win the Stanley Cup. Having been to a game along the way in person, I feel like I was a true fan supporting their team. Thanks, Bob

We went to Raleigh for the Eastern Conference Finals. The RBC center was absolutely beautiful. We had Champions club seats, the food was great, the four drinks per seat was an added bonus. We took a taxi there so other fans even gave us their drink vouchers. It helped that we are Pens fans and we won the game, but the Hurricane fans were the classiest and nicest fans we have found in the NHL. We would definitely go back for another game!

Every hockey game I've ever been to has been in NY or DC so I wasn't very enthusiastic about hockey in the south. Boy, was I wrong. The parking lot was packed with tailgaters, the crowed was a sea of 'Canes jerseys, the people around us were totally into it, and it was by far the most diverse crowd I've ever seen at an NHL game. Carolina loves their 'Canes and they made sure the team knew it. Up north, most people take the subway to a game after work and get sushi or tapas beforehand. I had no idea what I was missing! We'll be back next season. Although the cheerleaders may have been a bit much!

The seats were great for the price. Loved that we received a drink, hotdog, and popcorn with the seats as well. We were visiting the area so caught the game. We will go again next time we are in Raleigh if possible! They also have a wonderful buffet if you get to the game early enough. Watch out for seats you purchase as these were handicap but had to handle a few stairs on either side.

I'm from Charlotte and took my 2 nephews to a game. We stayed at the Comfort Suites that's just across the street, maybe a mile. Game was a blast, food was expensive like everywhere else. If you like hockey, you should go at least once. If you go, please check out the PNC Arena website and find the banned items under the FAQ there. I didn't. We showed up with a backpack and the security said we couldn't take it in. Had to take it back to the hotel, so this turned into a 3 mile trip.I also had to remove 12 inch wallet chain ( think that is BS though ). On the plus side, they do have smoking areas.

For some reason they decided not to open all of the gates to allow traffic to flow out of the parking lots. Since there was no one directing traffic, there was no way to tell which gates would be open. Tempers were short if you chose wrong only to find a locked gate. You had to double back, and now you were behind all the traffic for the section. A few of those guys directing traffic AFTER YOU WERE ALREADY IN THE EXIT LANES could have been useful in the actual lot. There were no servers in the club section all night. Great venue. You need to address these problems.

I love hockey so it is hard for me to find something negative about going to a hockey game. The food was of course way overpriced. The restrooms did not have toilet liners. The staff were quite friendly, and some of the crowd was rowdy, some obscenities were yelled which would make me not want to bring my kids. Would have been nice if the staff would have done something about the vulgarity. Otherwise it was a great time with great seats.

I have been to three hockey games in different arenas this month. PNC is my favorite. The other two are newer but PNC has the most leg and hip room and I think a better seating layout. We sat at center ice on the 200 level. I am rooting for the away team when I go there but the fan banter is always friendly. As an aside, we went to a great little barbecue place, Ole Time Barbecue. It is small so don't blink but the food is good and affordable if you want pork or chicken barbecue and the waitress is very friendly.

I had absolutely no issue getting there. The only traffic I hit was the traffic at the entrance to the arena and that even went smooth. It was my first time there and I was expecting the worse and glad to see that it was a lot smoother than most events I have attended elsewhere. I would come back definitely but not anytime soon considering the fact its 3 hrs away.

We are trying different locations for hockey seats. This worked well because many of the goals were scored at our end. Only a small area of the boards were blocked. Of course you do need good eyes to see the whole way to the other end of the ice! Good game. Pens win in OT. Sloppy play but fun to watch. Easy arena access from I-40. They seem to be trying to make the parking out-flow better. I hope they keep trying!

Great arena in a great city. PNC Arena was a great venue for watching the out of town B's take on the hometown Canes. Great sight lines, comfortable seating, good crowd, easy in and out for parking (cash lot is $15). The crowd was full of out of town fans cheering for the visitors. As soon as the puck hit the net for the 3-1 lead, the Canes fans bolted. Get there early and get a spot at the glass to watch the warm-ups!

They game was good. Pens Win! The seats were very nice except for the tall person in front of me who sat sideways sprawled across the wall in front of him. Luckily, the next section over had four rows of empty seats. So we slid over. Many Pens fans in the crowd as usual. Good-natured fun between opposing fans. Concessions high, like everywhere. Pretzel, sandwich, and drinks for 2 (one beer one soda) was $45 + tip It always amazes me how easy it is to get to the arena from the Interstate. But they need to manage the parking outflow better.

Had a great time at the game between Carolina Hurricanes and Detroit Red Wings. Red Wings are my team but I do like the Hurricanes. The Canes made it a good game but the Wings took it over at the very end and won in OT. There is tailgating before the game, which is very cool. Don't see that often at a hockey game. Canes fans are nice. Good food selections inside the PNC Arena. Our seats were great; had good view of the ice. Sound system was good also. Hope to return soon for another game. If they don't play the Red Wings, I'll cheer for the Canes.

Incredible action! Three big fights, back-and-forth scoring, and Justin Peters' unbelieveable save to kill off the 5-on-3 by Boston became the turning point in the game, and may have started a turn-around to this season! It inspired the Canes to ride a one-point lead all the way to the empty-netter at the end to close out the Bruins 4-2.

Treated a friend who was having a rough month to a Hurricanes game vs. Tampa Bay. We both had a wonderful time. Seats were great with no obstruction and parking was easy. It's also convenient to have Backyard Bistro right next to the RBC Center. If I had anything to complain about, $12 for a diet mountain dew and a beer was a little excessive, but I know that's the norm now a days. The game went into overtime and unfortunately we lost. I will definitely come back to see another game in the future.

We took our kids - 8, 5 and 2 - to the Family Day Hurricanes game against the Thrashers and had a great time. The kids loved the action and noise and all the silly events they do during breaks that keep things interesting, and the fact that they held the game during the day was a wonderful opportunity for us to attend because otherwise the games are too late for the kids. They also had special pricing for the tickets and hotdogs because it was a Family Day, which was very welcome. Unfortunately, the Hurricanes don't schedule many day-time games at all - note to those who schedule the games to do that more often! - but if you can find one, I encourage you to take your kids! My only complaint is that they make you buy tickets for kids two and older, and yet my two year old sat on our laps the entire time so that was a waste of money. I think the age should be three years old... otherwise, though, we had a great time!

We sat in sec. 321 and the view was great, all the kids had a really good time, and i even left with sum money....lol Even though Pens lost, it was a memorable time and well worth it.

The RBC Center is one of the greatest places to watch a hockey game. This was my third game there and each time I was lucky enough to see the Flyers win and at the same time marvel at the passion of the fans of the Carolina Hurricanes. If I have the opportunity to see the Hurricanes play other teams I would definitely jump at the chance.

The Eastern Conference Game 4 was amazing! I am a fan of both teams and there was so much energy in the crowd. Although it was in Raleigh and the Pens won to take the Eastern Conference Title just about everyone stayed in the RBC Center to watch the presentation of the trophy! It was a great time and we plan on going to many more games next year. The RBC Center is an amazing location for a hockey game!

Being from Buffalo I was amazed of the crowd! They were loud and crazy like hockey fans should be but I didnt think I would see that in the south. The arena was easy to get to and easy to navigate to our seats that were in the nose bleeds! Even being up that high we had a great view of the game! Now I cant wait till the Sabers come down so I can drive to Raliegh again!

This was the highlight of my life going and watching the eastern conference championships. I loved the excitement that the everyone in the crowd had and the action that all of the players brought to the game.

A splurge for seats on the glass, behind the goal laid the framework for an exciting evening. While the two teams are struggling right now the individual players are putting out the effort. The cost of the seat was worth the entertainment ~ the overhead and processing charges, no that is another story !~!~!

Great time! Too bad they had another 3rd period meltdown - no pun intended. Two rows behind players bench - wife loved that! Great seat for all the action. Highly recommend the experience! Great date night time!

The game was excellent. The only complaint we have is whomever is in charge of the music in the PNC Arena. They played loud music non stop. Before the game, during tv timeouts and even during brief stoppages during the game. It was so annoying. Why would any arena do that? If anyone from PNC Arena reads this, or, if you know someone that works there, please pass this along. Please stop blasting music! Just let the fans enjoy the sights and sounds of the game and audience. My rating was 1 star simply because the ridiculous and nonstop music was terrible. We went to an NHL Hockey game and not a rock concert.

It was easy and helpful to find tickets. I liked that you could see where they were before you purchased them. But, the 'extras' need to be explained a little better. I bought a parking pass but when we got to the parking area the gentleman had a little trouble getting the code from phone to work until he did something that accepted my ticket code. Thankful to the man who knew what he was doing. All in all I will go back when I need tickets.

The crowd was more like a Pens home game than a Canes game, but since we're Pens fans that was great. one suggestion for the arena, when you know you're going to have a big crowd open ALL of the concession stands and staff them for the crowds. You never know, some of these people may come back for a non-pens game...

Great game, fabulous seats, good atmosphere. Sitting in row T section 111, I had trouble seeing over all the employees standing in the driveway where the Zamboni comes in when 5 or 6 of them went up to the glass when the play was at that net. I couldn't see anything going on behind the net. I understand the goal judge might have to be there and maybe 1 maintenance guy.. but often there were many ''civilians'' there as well as many maintenance people, all this while the PLAY was on. I know they love hockey too or wouldn't be there. BUT.. they are getting paid to be there, and I paid over $100 to see the game and couldn't. I did mention this to a very nice male usher after the 2nd period. He said he'd pass it on. I hope this helps the next person in Section 111. Go Canes

We had a great time at the Canes game against the Flyers. We noticed some changes probably due to the new owner.

Being from Philly and living in Raleigh only the last 6 months it was great to be able to take advantage of a promotion to see the Flyers play. It is disappointing to see how the interest here in Raleigh area has fallen. I do wish the new owner of the team good luck in revitalizing interest in the Hurricanes and continued promotions should help the attendance .

As a family we attend several Canes games each season. This year there are many discounted events and seating, so we re going more often. We always enjoy the game, regardless of the outcome The game vs the Sharks was less than stellar for the Canes. They played very flat and struggled the entire game. They couldn t connect passes and their timing seemed off. They definitely were outplayed in this game

Always enjoy seeing NHL games at PNC Arena. Good food options, very clean facility, reasonable parking fees...compared with other arenas. Like the Canes..hope they improve. Red Wing played a great game on Feb 2nd. Seats were in Section 103, behind visitor's bench. Great viewing of the entire game.
