The kids sang and danced just how I expected which was good for kids. The stage set was a bore. They did 1 set change. There weren t any large screens for seats that weren t close to the stage. They need to take some of that money they re making and put it into the set/stage and some tricked out lighting.
My two girls weren t exactly thrilled about their first concert ever, which was a bit disappointing for me, to say the least. If it wasn t for the atmosphere, it probably would have been a total flop. They concert itself could have been a little longer and it would have been nice had they played an assortment of music from all of their CD s, rather than just a couple.
I was very excited for this concert, as it was the first concert for my 7-yr old daughter. We took one of her friends along with us and it was her first concert also. The show started a few minutes late (4:10 compared to 4:00), which is normally not a big deal. However, the concert was over by 5:08! The one hour was inclusive of about 5 songs from an opening act. It also seemed like almost all of the songs were lip-synced (other than the opening act). Even my daughter made a comment to me during the show that none of them were really singing. Overall, it was a very disappointing show.
Concert itself was awesome, music was awesome! Venue was spacious but the weather was borderline unbearable. This made the kids irritable, icecream didn't help nor did the water. The hot seats meant we stood most of the time and because all the continuing rows of people stood meant the kids couldn't see, so most of the last ds were standing in the chairs.
Kids loved it. But, The show stated late. They had an intermission. For the cost of the tickets one would think the stage would be set. Nope. Kids have never been to a Real concert but adults have and can compare the events and cost. Bottom line the kids had fun we can afford to spend over $200 on tickets.
I thought overall it was a great performance considering the Kidz Bop kids are children themselves. My son loves the Kidz Bop Kids and had a great time. I did notice that the people who were selected to go on stage were typically from the front and not the middle ( where we sat) or the back. I thought the group did an excellent job trying to get the audience to engage but people were still glued to their seats.
I took my 13 yr. old daughter and her 12 yr. old friend, they had a blast! The Kidz were SOOO energetic and really pumped up the audience. My two girls knew all the music and singed and danced the entire show! I'm 46 and caught myself singing and clapping along the whole time, too! Those Kidz are very talented singers (especially the girls), but their ability to remember all their dance routines is awesome. Thanks Kidz Bop Kids, your show was fun!
It was the first concert I took my 9 year old boy and 6 year old daughter too. They loved it! The Kidz Bop kids are incredibly talented! I was really impressed. The singing and dancing was great and they did all the cool songs - opening with "Sorry". Ashlynn especailly I think is very talented. We had VIP passes so we got to take photos with them and found out that the two boys are 13 years old and the girls are 15. Again, all four of them are very, very talented and the show was great! The outfits, the song they did with light up jackets and shoes were a hit with my kids! I felt the money for each VIP ticket ($90) was totally worth it.
This was the perfect 1st music concert for my 6 yr old. She recognizes all the songs, which are brilliantly changed up for younger ears. The MC got the crowd excited, singing & dancing & the parents involved which made the event a whole lot more fun for everyone. Kidz Bop kids are wonderful performers & they kept all the kids singing the whole time. Even I, a 42 year old mom, had a phenomenal time! Thanks Kidz Bop kids!!
This is an excellent show for the "tweeners" age group. They had these kids dancing and rocking in the aisles. Down at stage front it looked like a mini mosh pit. So cute and so clean cut. My son who just turned 10 has several Kidz Bop albums and he enjoyed every moment.
the kidz were amazing and my lids loved it. Energy was HIGH and off the charts was just waaaayyy tooo short for the money. With the energy level I understand it being only 45 minutes but a brief intermission and another 45 minute set would have been worth the money or admission of only $10 so families wouldn't have to struggle as much to bring their kids
It's about what we expected. They played most of the hits. The sound was a little low at times, and the post-intermission set was only a few songs long, which surprised me a bit. I get that they weren't going to play until late with it being a kids show, but I literally recall maybe 4 songs after intermission. My daughter (9 years old) had a blast, and the adults let the kids have fun (adults stayed seated for the most part, let the kids stand on the chairs, dance in the aisles, etc).
The venue is awesome. Kidzbop was not fabulous... sorry. Too rehearsed and nothing was authentic! Won t bother to spend the money on another show... sorry!
I'm giving 4 stars based on the fact that the kids worked hard, in heat and sun and danced their hearts out. It was a short show -- 1.5 hours, and not really worth the ticket price, but my kids had a great time and I was happy to indulge them. Kudos to the KidzBop Kids for how hard they worked!
VIP package is a totally waste of money and a joke. Performance is cute for the kids but don't waste your money on the rest

This Kidz Bop concert was pretty disappointing. I might have had different expectations if we hadn't attended the event last year, but unfortunately, we (including my 6 year old son) were bummed. The show was significantly shorter this year. There was an intermission and just a few songs when they came back from the break. The set list seemed more exciting last year and i'd say the performers were better last year too. This is our last Kidz Bop concert - at least the one last year was good.

This was my son's first concert - he is 8 and loves Kidz Bop. I purchased the VIP package for he and I, and it was just okay. Very expensive for what you get. We waited a long time to get to the "pre-party" that had very basic snacks (nachos, goldfish and lemonade), there was a tattoo station and a "make your own slime" station, both with huge lines. The "shwag" we received were sunglasses, stickers and a couple handouts with the Kidz Bop photos on it. There was a brief acapella performance, which was probably the best part, and then a "meet and greet" which wasn't worth waiting after the show for. My biggest complaint was the Kidz Bop staff, particularly a woman named ANJEL. (She was not part of the Live Nation team, she was on tour with the kids.) Anjel clearly hates her job and should not be working with children. The amount of eyerolling she did was ridiculous, and her body language just screamed STRESS. She was unapproachable, and frankly just rude. I had to hide my disappointment because I didn't want it to ruin my son's time. I expressed my disappointment to several of the Live Nation staff, who said they had already received several complaints about Anjel. For the price we paid for the VIP treatment, Anjel sure spoiled it. She is one unhappy woman.

My 7-yo daughter loves Kidz Bop, and I appreciate the fact there are no references to sex, violence or drugs (which have been scrubbed out in the re-recording of today's top hits). We were extremely excited for KidzBop, and it's safe to say we left our July 15 show at Honda Center in Anaheim satisfied. The kids are 100 percent energy and enthusiasm; they gave it their all. The best moment -- and I never expected this, because I hate Ed Sheeran -- was Sheeran's "Perfect." When the kids break out real instruments and sing with just that accompaniment, it's terrific. This might sound sexist, but the two males in the quartet could really sing, while the girls just didn't pack the wallop to be heard clearly. I think all the kids in the arena -- it was practically full for the "theatre" setup -- left happy too. But I have to say the show could be better: The most immediate surprise is that only four performers were on hand. I get the logistics of it: I checked the upcoming tour dates and was amazed that they had like 5 shows on the West Coast in five nights. Maybe they split up the crews so that one troupe doesn't get burned out. I would hate for these kids to be overworked. But the KidzBop cottage industry could surely afford 2-4 more kids on stage. The staging and lighting were adequate, though not eye-popping. They must realize that this isn't all that important to 7-year-olds. Most parents I heard around me worked overtime to keep the kids happy with drinks and snacks. My own kid was more thrilled that I actually came back with blue cotton candy (the concession lines and merch lines were insanely long) than anything else. Blissfully, there was an intermission so we could take a break. But after that the group only played like 5 more songs. A woman behind me said "It's over?!" The timing of the show -- started about 4:20 pm., wrapped up by 5:45 -- actually worked out OK because we got home in time for dinner. But they could have played a couple more songs. I like the way they did two Imagine Dragons songs back to back, like a medley. Could have done that with Taylor Swift, the patron saint of KidzBop fans. Anyway, it was a good show, and a worthy entrant for my child's first concert. But it wasn't dazzling. I'd recommend parents shell out the big bucks, go straight to the well and try for Taylor or Selena or Pink, etc. But my kid is definitely a customer for the KidzBop 38 CD. Which I suppose was the goal of this whole enterprise.

They started 15 minutes late and total onstage time was 60 min. This was not worth the $120 I paid for me and my child, which includes facility fees and parking. The show was too short and they should have had more singers. My kid said there was a girl who wasn't their that should have been. Vocals were good.

The show was great! Very high energy performance, good sound ( surprisingly loud - although both my 6 yr. old and 9 yr. olds did not mind). Stage lights were frequently on full white , which was perfect for the kids. There was a large section of the stage that was raised in back which made it very easy for the Kids Bop Kidz performers to be seen by everyone, even up front (we were in the second row) and fully seated. Nice to have an intermission. I would definitely go see them again. They made lots of eye contact with the entire audience, and my kids loved it.

The show was a lot better than I thought it would be. The kids weren t lip syncing & while their vocals aren t the best they put a lot of work into their shows. Good audience interaction as well, which the kids loved. They let us go up to the front of the stage toward the end - may not work for everyone but worth a shot! The kids were very happy to high-five every kid within reach, which made the price worth it!

She was dancing and singing along. The Kidz Bop kids had cute choreography and did a great job! I think they were down 1 singer (she was in the videos but not on stage), however still did a fantastic job! Great show and I would recommend it to anyone with a kid who listens to KIDZ BOP!

I thought the KBK concert was incredibly cute and engaging for my 7-year old and her best friend. They sang and dance, bounced beach balls around the crowd, and screamed their hearts out for a t-shirt. I was impressed by how talented and energetic the performers were. My only gripe had nothing to do with the show itself. It started at 6 pm on a Friday, which is difficult for working parents and children in summer camps. Traffic into the venue and parking was terrible. We got to our seats at 6:23 and had missed a few songs.

This was a terrible show. Aside from the unnecessary delay in the start time, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the show. The stage set/design/decor was poor for a show that is advertised as a professional concert. The sound quality was poor. I was unimpressed with the performers/singers. I question whether they were actually singing. I would never recommend this show to anyone. And to go thru all of this trouble get to this location for a 60 minute show was also ridiculous. It seemed more like a park district event but at the cost of a professional concert.

Overall our experience at KidzBop in Chicago was disappointing. The concert was delayed due to weather. The email notifying us of the change arrived at 2:45 PM. The concert gates opened at 3. We were already on our way and did not receive the email in time to adjust our arrival time. So, we spent about 3 hours killing time in the city bc we already paid to park. The new concert start time was 6:45 PM. It started after 715 and the entire concert was under an hour including the intermission. Overall, the concert itself was forgettable and the communication about the delays and start time was poor. I wouldn t spend money to see this show again. I would also let others know that this is an experience you can probably skip. Overall the day was a letdown.

I barely ever leave reviews but hoping to save others from wasting money on this if thinking about purchasing at full price. The positive is I purchased these tickets during the $20 all in promo so it was a cheap night out. That is all the show was worth. As others mentioned, it is very short in length. The singing and dancing was good and the kids in the crowd seemed to enjoy it. What really threw me was the lack of production. You literally have 4 kids on stage with minimal props and 2 monitors on each side. This could have been duplicated in a community theater or high school auditorium. Where was the stage scenery/backdrop, stage lighting, confetti cannons, inflatable props, costume changes, lasers, etc. It just came off as very low budget. With a name like Kid Bopz, I was expecting a bit of a wow factor and left thinking really that was it. I've seen performers at local street festivals with more professional setups.

They postponed the show, with possibility of canceling at 3pm...an HOUR before the show was supposed to start. They pushed back the start time for 3.5 hours later. A 4pm show is extremely different than a 7:30 show. Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication, and change of times. Good time. Could have been better if they actually performed for a longer length of time, took less of an intermission or had the show run longer to implement more songs! Kids had a blast dancing and singing along but for the cost of these tickets compared to length of show....it could have been better but I guess the smiles on my kids face and it was worth the trip we took to see them.

Meadow Brook Amphitheater was a decent venue although the volume from the lawn seats was low. We could barely hear/understand the videos playing before the concert and although we could hear the music when it started, it was difficult to understand what the performers were saying in between songs. The concert itself left much to be desired. I had debated about paying the extra for the pavilion seats and I am so glad that I didn t. I felt that most of the songs that they played were not exciting and dance worthy especially the opening songs. The real disappointment was what happened after the intermission. The performers came out in the second part with one (maybe two) songs before saying good bye and heading back stage...and of course it was after the intermission when the kids in the audience started to loosen up and enjoy the music (of course the song choice was better). Knowing they were coming back out for an encore I suppressed my shock and disappointment but when the performers came back out they said Are you ready for our last song? and only played one more song. The second half , if you can call it that, contained great songs but was literally the nail in the coffin for me. Truly disappointing experience!

I wish I had a better review for this event. We took our 12 year old daughter and 4 year old niece. Unfortunately, the show was very very short. 45 minutes then an intermission then another 40 minutes and done. I would not recommend this show. The venue was great except for the fact that they were charging 9.00 for a bottle of Aquafina water.

My daughter and her friends really enjoyed their first concert (Kidz Bop Live) at Meadowbrook Theater. The kids did a great job of performing on such a hot night. We d go see them again!

We were very disappointed in the length of the show, especially for the price of the tickets. Our show was scheduled to start at 6pm, but started 15 - 20 minutes late. There was a 15 - 20 intermission, then they were done around 7:45. Our kids enjoyed the small amount of the show they saw, but were very sad that it was over with so soon. We won't be back and would not recommend the show to anyone.

5 stars all around!! Great venue! Wonderful show! VIP experience, we liked the added activities of facepainting and slime making this year, as well as the GIF photo booth and acapella show! When your child smiles the whole day, and still is smiling talking about her amazing day, its what the concert is all about!!

You won't be disappointed. Your kids will love it. My girls are 6 and 11 yo and both were singing along and dancing. The performers are amazing and kept the momentum going.

These kids are unstoppable. They did an amazing job, the performance was outstanding. They had the kids in the aisles dancing and it was fabulous. Getting the parents involved was novel and exciting. We loved every minute of it!

For the money spent, my family thought this concert was lackluster. Only four of the KidzBop kids performed. It felt so scripted and overly lip-synced.

Concert was fine. My 5 year old liked it. However, concert started at 4:20, had a 15 minute intermission and ended st 5:40. Total time was 1 hour, 5 minutes. For the price, the concert should have been between 1 hr 45 minutes to 2 hours. Invert should also have started on time.

The audio was poor! Could barely hear what was being said and there was a cracking/heavy breathing coming through one of the microphones. There were small video screens on each side of the stage that could hardly been seen. They were way too small for the venue size. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing event and I would never recommend it to anyone. The venue was great though.

Too short. Not even an hour. Not all the singers. Too expensive. My child was able to run to the front with her cousins and stand near stage which was Great! However if I had paid for the VIP seats I would have been upset there was no one stopping all the kids from running in front. Overall my daughter enjoyed it because the singers touched her hand.

Some adults need to get out more. This concert is great for little ones, but that's just it...they're little. This is our 3rd Kidz Bop concert and at each concert parents get into the spirit and got up out of their seats. The problem is, IT IS A CONCERT FOR KIDS. Please make an announcement at the start of the show, "Attention adults and tall teens. Please enjoy the show from your seats so as not to obstruct the view of the young children seated behind you. Thank you." Security did a terrible job of controlling the crowd and my husband had to stand in front of the crowd of crazed parent fans and ask them to return to their seats, which they did. I purchased tickets for this show for my kids to enjoy. Half the time they were crowded by adults dancing in the isle. It was absolutely ridiculous. We go because the kids love it, the show that is. They do not love not being able to see. C'mon parents. You have to do better to be mindful of the target audience. Have some decency
