The venue is so cozy and personal; I was literally sitting 30ft away from Mandy Moore! I thought it sucked that I couldn't take pictures, but I realized it probably more comfortable for her to not be constantly photographed. She really opened up about the making of her album and I felt she was being a genuine character, not like some celebrities. It was awsome that she preformed a few of her new songs after the interview. Her voice is gorgeous and carried well on the sound stage. Plus I got to meet her after and got an autograph!!! I'm going to be back at the Grammy Museum all the time!!

The Grammy Museum is brand new, and I'd never been there before. Beautiful little space, as was the room in which we saw and heard the artist. Very intimate setting, up close and personal with Mandy. She answered a lot of questions about the making of her latest album, then sang a few songs. Wish she could've sang a few more - she and Mike Viola were great live. They also did not allow ANY kind of photography, even at the meet and greet afterwards, despite how small the event was. Personalized autographs weren't allowed, either. You could buy her album for $20 to get signed. I'd say next time, bring your own copy of the album to get signed and save your money! Mandy was very humble and super sweet. Seemed gorgeous inside and out. Overall, very cool experience and I would definitely go see another artist there again. Just wish I could sneak a darn picture!
