My daughter and I really enjoyed Sister Act:) The humor in it made us laugh and the music was amazing:)) We really enjoyed it:))

I took my mom for her birthday. She absolutely loved it. The staff, food and the show was outstanding. We're already planning to come and see Dreamgirls.

This was one of the best shows I have ever seen! The cast was absolutely amazing and did a fabulous job. The vocals and the acting were superb. I loved this show!! Great Job!!

The first half of sister act had my wife and I smiling ear to eat. Very entertaining! 10/10 before intermission...after intermission 1/10. I was so lost the second half. The story lost direction and the songs seamed to run together. I recommend going to this show but leave at intermission!

Loved it-- fun, lighthearted night out! My teenaged daughter and her friend had a great time too.

The show was a delight to see. The actors were fantastic and the music was wonderful. Even though it was a little different from the original movie, the story line was wonderful.

Excellent entire cast, wonderful story, best orchestra on tour I've ever heard. It's a fun show for the whole family.

The performance was perfect from start to finish. As professional as any I've seen on Broadway. If you have the change GO SEE THIS SHOW!!!!!!

I thought Sister Mary Roberts and Mother Superior were amazing! I loved how it was similar to the movie, yet very different and more entertaining. Delores did not impress me as much as the nuns, but still did a great job. The Hershey Theatre was gorgeous and I would definitely go back soon. The price was good for my seat as well.

I know one should not expect theater to be the same as the movie, and I don't, but a good transfer from movie to theater makes you forget how good the movie was, Sister Act on stage didn't. Sister Act dropped what made the movie fun and enjoyable and seemed to just skip from musical number to musical number - some of which could have been dropped. The actors were very good, but could only do so much with the poor book and score.

Singers were amazing, plot and songs different than movie, but show was absolutely worth seeing.

This show is funny and enertaining! LOVE the movie, and this too is a new fav!

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Stage was devine, the singing was celestial and the costumes were ethereal. Quite stunning. Loved every minute.

Sister Act was a lot of fun! The talent including the acting and singing was terrific. I laughed throughout and the energy kept going until the very end. Great show.

It was a good show. Me and my friends really enjoyed Sister Act.

The play was wonderful. The actors were all terrific and the chemistry between them was excellent. The timing was very good; the singing was great, and the dancing and staging were excellent. Only negative was that there were times that the back stage activity was very obvious and distracting to those of us in the audience that could see it.

Everyone knew their parts and were so into the act!!! Never saw a smother play!!

Amazing, Must see! Look forward to many more Broadway performances.

I bought the tickets to the show before I discovered that the songs in the movie would not be in the musical. I admit I was disappointed, and I probably would not have bought them. So I was a little skeptical going into the show about whether I would enjoy it. Much to my surprise it was a great show and a lot of fun. The cast where great, and the music was good too. I may even get the soundtrack. I was laughing with tears in my eyes at time and I smiled so much my cheeks actually got sore but the end of the show! I took two friends as part of their Christmas gifts from me and they really, really enjoyed it too. They were lamenting that the show was only on for 2 more showings because they would have liked to have taken members of their family to see it too. All in all a great, great, show and a hilarious time.

Sister Act was great! Music was awesome with plenty of opportunities to laugh.

We were excited to see Sister Act and arrived with great expectations and an open mind. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with both the quality of the vocals and the acting. It looked more like a high school play than a professional show. The acting was amateur at best, and the male dancers obviously need more rehearsals. The second act was marginally better than the first, but we left feeling we had wasted our money.

The show was amazing. Though the lyrics of some songs were difficult to hear do to the volume of the music. That is why 4 stars instead of 5.

My wife and I were very pleased with the musical orchestration. The staging of the numbers was excellent and the costumes of the actors was excellent.

Great cast, great music, great sets, multiple standing ovations. Wonderful show!

Wonderful production. A little disapointed that the music wasn't the same as in the movie but very well done.

The performers had wonderful timing and great voices. The sets were a bit overdone. I am not a musical fan but I took my wife as a gift. I enjoyed it as much as a non-musical fan could and that means to me that it was an excellent performance.

We really enjoyed this show. Quality was that of a Broadway produciton!

From the beginning of the first act through the end of the play we were mesmerized. So many funny lines and the music was fabulous.

Overall, the performance was very good. It did deviate from the movie. The play had more humorous lines to it. And the songs were not the doowop songs of the 50's. The music was all original for this play.

OMG! words cannot explain the show. It was amazing. the entire cast did a fantastic job. The backdrops were awesome. It was funny and touching at the same time. Thank God for the entire cast, the voices were amazing too.

We loved the play - laughed and clapped all the way through. Time just flew by! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I will be back for another birthday/Christmas celebration with my granddaughter. The only negative were very long lines at the ladies room and concession stand were very long at intermission.

This musical, though nothing like the show except for the story line, was hilarious and such a good time! The actors were great and we were laughing the entire time!

The staff was great. Lots of ushers to help folks. Restroom clean and magnificent. The whole building and Decor was spectacular. The show was well done, I'd see it again.

So fun, so entertaining, a definite MUST see event!

Oh, my! The lyrics are just fantastic. Run and see this musical -- even if it's being performed by a group of 6th graders. Where is Slater's Kennedy Center Award?

Sister Act, by Cabrillo Music Theater was absolutely fantastic! Every single one of the actors put forth their maximum effort into making this show amazing! It was fast paced, pitch perfect, and acted by professionals. Good casting! I wish they could do this again. Because of this production, I have subscribed to season tickets for next season. Thank you for a wonderful production!

This show was so fun! Great cast, great music, and great energy! Definitely see it if it comes to your area!

This was a great musical comedy that was fabulously adapted from the 1992 movie of the same name starring Whoopi Goldberg. The main character, Deloris Van Cartier, uses the word fabulous throughout the show and is her signature word of phrase. The story is that of a lounge singer who witnesses a crime and is sent into hiding in a convent while her gangster boyfriend tries to find her and silent her. It's very similar to the movie, but the two major differences is that the movie takes place in the 90's while the musical takes place in the 70's and her boyfriend is a mobster in the movie and a gangster in the musical. Changing the time period to the 70's was hilarious because the comedy really shined through in the costuming, choreography, and the music. The juxtaposition between the outside world and the religious convent became very apparent in a hilarious manner. The cast was primarily made up of women and they are incredibly talented singers. While not having the numbers of a large scale production, they are still able to produce the same amount of intense singing as that of other major shows. Overall, this was a great show that had comedy, drama, and is simply a feel good musical. I strongly recommend this musical to everyone.

Loved every minute! Great singing, wonderful dance numbers. Only slight criticism was the scene where Curtis is about to shoot Deloris seems unrealistically protracted. Nothing's perfect but this musical comes close! See it!

For a local show, this was so well done. The cast was excellent.

The cast and crew were amazing in this performance !!! The actors are very talented and funny. The scenery, wardrobe changes, etc... were seamless !!! The show was very entertaining !!!

I expected this to be like the movie so I talked my husband into spending nearly $500 as my birthday present to take the whole family. We have two young teenage boys. The show is way too racy and full of cussing for us. Yelling "Jesus Christ!" as an oath is seriously low class and offensive. The addition of the two gays buying the church was an offense. The opening number was little more than an excuse to act like strippers. The cast members have great talent, but someone "interpreting" this story for stage has poor judgment. They did not have to "smut up" the show. It could have been great. Too bad. I doubt we will ever trust Kavli theater with our hard-earned entertainment dollars again.

It was funny and consistent. I loved the way everyone danced together. No one tripped, fell or bumped into each other. They did so good!!

The cast did an awesome job performing and waiting tables. However, for the cost I did not enjoy the food.

There was so much energy in this performance and everyone did an outstanding job! It was heartwarming and hilarious all at the same time! It was cast so well. I would make another 8 hour drive to go see this anytime!

My hesitation to recommend this show has nothing to do with talent which was off the charts great. The script has been rewritten, and while very funny in parts, much of the dialogue and lyrics to songs is crude and sexually oriented. I felt most was inappropriate as did others with whom I've spoken. The stage production does not include the music in the movie and though the general plot is the same, it's not what we expected.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sister Act. Great music, excellent singers and great story line. I went with three friends and we all thought it was great! I definitely would give it 5 stars.

They didn't sing any of the songs that was in the movie the second half of the show was dull and boring mostly just song after song. Not as good as the movie at all

The music, singing, dancing, acting, costumes, sets - this show has it all! One of the best traveling shows I've ever seen. Every bit as good as the Broadway production. And far better than the movie which was pretty darn good.

I really enjoyed sister act. The music and story were great. A little different and a lot sexier than the movie version. Would see it again in a heartbeat.

The seats are not sloped enough, so if a person taller than you sits in front of you, your view of the stage will be at least partially blocked. Unfortunately, I sat behind a lady with 4 inch tall hair! I have decided that if I can't get the first row on the ground floor or the first row in the balcony, I won't bother to go to this theater again. Having said that, the show was wonderful! I enjoyed every moment. I laughed a lot. I will definitely see this show again (at a different theater).

Very good production. The singing and acting were wonderful. The sets were awesome, too. One of the best shows we've seen this year.
