Show was great, although it turned into a bit of a jam sesh towards the end and I think the crowd wanted something they could dance to a bit more. Dave's awesome on the guitar and Nico's vocals were on point as usual. They went on close to 11 and the show was over by 12, with a 10 minute "hey-we're-finished-just-kidding" fakeout around 11:30. I know this is their first album so they don't have a ton of material but I feel like they could have played some of Nico's old stuff to keep the party going. Also T5 was packed as usual... really wish they would cut off ticket sales a little sooner to make this more enjoyable for everyone going.

Great event. Love the cozy venue. Intimate. The venue is cozy yet big. And the drinks are good. You can pick one of the 2 floors of the stage floor.

Great performance and Children Of The Light gave an excellent visual presentation. Terminal 5 is always overcrowded. It is my least favorite venue in New York.

One of the best shows I've been to in ages. Had really high expectations coming in as I've been waiting for this for months and my expectations were absolutely blown away. Best show of 2014!!

I don't use that title lightly. I was truly blown away by Darkside's performance and the production. The beam of light from a hanging circular mirror behind them, gave me goosebumps each time it passed over the crowd. The projection over the crowd simulating the sky was something I'd never seen before and all of the lighting and smoke enhanced the music to the nth degree. The first two songs took half an hour, so much build up and groove lasting for what felt like forever. I would love to go to this show every weekend.

First off let me say Darkside was on point, it was haunting, beautiful and atmospheric just like you'd expect it to be. My main problem was this show was clearly oversold as you couldn't even move inside, and to a crowd of people who didn't even know what they were going to see. Apparently Nicolas Jaar has become a tumblr icon for teen girls because it was mostly underage teens expecting some wild dance concert. Also people talked throughout the entire performance, like the crowd was more audible than the performers most of the time. The Paradise has been letting me down with the crowd it's attracting. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the show. It just had so much taken away from it by rude and insensitive people who had clearly had no respect for those trying to enjoy the music, which is what a concert should be about, right?

Darkside was amazing. Darkside soldout the venue. The crowd sucked; they talked during most of the performance instead of actually listening. The crowd loved the performance, but they did not appreciate as much as they could have. Darkside is really good at reading the crowd and determined that the people there did not appreciate fine art they instead wanted something catchy with a lot of bass. I enjoyed the performance, but I know the group was capable of more in the right setting.

The duo of Dave Harrington and Nico Jarr were incredible for the 1hr 20mins that they played, but I just wished they would've played for another half an hour, especially when the opener and the wait for Darkside was much longer than the actual time they played. Nico's voice was absolutely unforgettable live, at least.

Superb showmanship and talent through the use of minimal production. Smoke and mirrors with a modern psychedelic twist.

Darkside pulled out an excellent set, acts that rely heavily on samples often have the feel of a "press play and stand back" type of performnce, Darkside pulled off the truly "live" feel with aplomb. Guitar work is obviously live, but the electronics were varied enough from the record to convey some form of improvisation and artistic input. Highly recommend.

As always, Nicolas Jarr does not disappoint. My second time seeing him live, first time under the Clown and Sunset moniker, and I was BLOWN away. You will not be disappointed. Make sure to stay for the sax encore!
