It was an AMAZING show. It's just a shame that they will no longer playing together! They played music rangingfrom their first album together to their last. The theatre was small enough to have a good seat anywhere, plus they did a meet and greet right after the show which was awesome. These guys are amazing!

There was a ton of energy in the Troc last night! Went to hear the Emotion is Dead album and got to hear lots of other songs I now love. Going to have to buy some more Juliana Theory albums. Definitely a great time!

I didn't get to see a Juliana Theory show before they abruptly disbanded (no pun intended). When I found out they were doing a reunion/goodbye tour I was overjoyed, and wow did they deliver. Amazing show, amazing set and an all around amazing night. Closure, finally!

The concert was amazing! They always are wonderful and have a ton of fun. Altar bar was a good choice, I like Mr. Smalls as well though.... TJT will be missed. See you in 5 more years?!

The Juliana Theory holds a special place in my heart. They played at my wedding 10 years ago. This anniversary/farewell event was a wonderful way to remember my wedding and celebrate the last ten years. The band sounded wonderful, like they'd never been apart. I wish they would continue on, but alas, I'll have to cherish the memories. If you missed their last show, you missed out. As there aren't enough words to capture how truly amazing this show was, I'll leave it at that. Thanks for one last farewell!!

I would recommend seeing these guys live, but this was their last show ever. If you missed it you fail at life. Best show I've ever been to!

This show was unreal. I drove from Boston to see them perform for the first time. They made it worth the drive and then some. I have been a fan for ten years, and this was a real treat for me. I wish the fans had thrown more energy their way, but I tried to make up for that. I met the guitarist after the show and was starstruck. I love this band and it meant the world to me to see them before they broke up forever. They sounded AMAZING. Some of their fans seemed a little lackluster, but I am a music lover, have great taste in music (if I do say so myself) and these guys will rock my world, always and forever <3

I wasn't sure what to expect out of Juliana Theory after not playing together for several years. I think the last time I saw them live may have been around '99 or 2000 at at a small cultural center in Pgh. I have to say, I was extremely impressed with how great they still are live! Their work from Love and Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat plays extremely well live. Altar Bar was the perfect venue for a farewell show...I only hope it wasn't truly their last show. They still have an incredible fanbase who would love to see them get back together, if even just for a few shows a year to play old stuff to their hometown faithful!

El Rey is a wonderful venue, and Juliana Theory played for about 2 hours, so there is no reason to be disappointed. Their first set was just a bunch of music from Understand This is A Dream, Music from Another Room, Love, and Deadbeat Sweetheart. Then there is an intermission, followed by Emotion is Dead in its entirety. It was awesome.

This is a must do for any TJT fan. They played for 2.5 hours and it was great! They were rocking out the song and the crowd was loving every minute. Was a great reunion show.

This was an awesome concert! I have been to several rock concerts (big arena rock included) and I can say that this one was the best because they are my favorite band of all time. The band did meet and greets after the show and signed anything that you wanted. I got a high-five from the front man, Brett Detar. The bouncers and staff were sticklers, but I think that's what's to be expected from security.

So, I actually have never seen The Juliana Theory in concert. I've been a fan and listened to them since around 2001. Personally I am not fan of LOVE, except for 2-3 songs, yet Juliana Theory feels this album is good enough to play quite a few songs off. But let's start at the beginning - Brett Detar appeared to be some kind of hippie, cowboy, and I thought he may have been humbled by the years, and not be so rock and roll star..but I was wrong, his guitarist outperformed him, sweet. The band comes out and is playing their "hit" songs first, not Emotion Is Dead. My friend and I both concur, these songs needed more work, Brett's voice was mostly off key and the sound mix was poor, and overall, I was disappointed as I felt there was other HIT songs that should've been played where as most attention was paid to LOVE, which isn't my bag. They did not play Music Box Superhero, which blew me away..how can you not? Stupid. Luckily when the band came out for Emotion Is Dead, it was tighter and sounded much better. So for that I was glad. I like the El Rey a lot, it's a wonderful venue but JT just didn't seem ready.

The show was to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the release of "Emotion is Dead" They played almost two sets one being the whole "Emotion is Dead" album. That album is on my top albums ever released and to be able to relive it was priceless. Also, the El Rey is one of the best venues in LA hands down.

It's hard to recomend this show to a friend since this was the 3rd show of a six show tour. And also since the tour basically sold out when it was available to the public. Regardless, it was an awesome show. What I loved about the show was that it was TJT and only TJT. About 2 hours of them. Basically, if you loved TJT, this was your nirvana. They sounded pretty freakin' amazing live, but not quite CD quality. But still, they sounded like they never were broken up for those 5 years. Check out their new projects - Brett Detar's solo stuff and Vesta

Beautiful. Wish the crowd would've embraced the attempted mosh pits during the harder songs though. But that's not the band's fault, had more to do with the immobile audience.

This show was unforgettable. Everything any long time fan of the band could have hoped for in terms of a farewell show. It was great to meet the band afterwards as well. Simply amazing.

it sent chills up my spine how the crowd could just takeover singing at anytime and we all new the songs word for word... when they played "at the top of the world" i think the band even got the same goosebumps i did :) It was simply breathtaking and it was awesome to experience The Juliana Theory again, it brought me back to when i was 18 again :)

It is a DAMN shame that this is one of their last shows. I sat on the balcony closets to the stage and got to witness the band as well as the crowd. TJT walked on stage not like rock stars but like our friends, and yet at the same time they brought it like true professionals. They were gracious, genuine, and preformed like it was their last time ever playing/singing. While playing ALL of my favorite songs they took their time with the set, rocked out with the crowd, and played three rounds of sets. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! After the show they stayed after to meet EVERYONE and signed anything.. It made a perfect ending to their time in Philly. XX TJT if you are reading this... Please Dont Break Up! XX
