I cannot remember having so much fun at a show. Everyone was dancing and screaming the words. They sounded great. The lights were intense and made the whole show seem surreal. I just want to relive it again and again. I'd follow them on tour if I had the money.

While house of blues is an OK venue, the faint and other bands were awesome.

Pictureplane makes great music, but has no idea how to put on an even halfway decent show. Very awkward and kind of boring. Gang of Four was surprisingly good. I had never heard of them before I bought my tickets, and I was not interested in seeing them live after listening to a few tracks of theirs on Apple Music. However, I was pleasantly surprised with their performance. Even though they had hardly any room onstage, they still put a lot of energy into their performance, and made me reconsider my opinion of them. The lead singer is a bit quirky, but he made me believe in his love for his music, and that means a lot to me. Rock on, GoF! I have been waiting over a decade to catch The Faint live. I absolutely love their music, and have ever since I heard Danse Macabre. I made damn sure that I was up front throughout the whole show so that I could watch them do their thing, and they rewarded me by putting on one of the best performances I've ever seen on a small stage. Every member of the band seemed completely comfortable on stage. They were all virtually flawless, and the most amazing thing about them was that they made it seem as if they were born to do what they were doing. Totally effortless and beautiful to behold. I would have paid $1,000 per ticket to see The Faint, and I would happily go broke and homeless if I could do it every day! My gratitude goes out infinitely to The Faint for making such amazingly beautiful music, for sharing it with the world, and for coming to Boston so that I could witness their alchemical magic in person!

The Faint brought it last night! It was my first time at Club Nokia along with the Faint. They announced "this is our first time here, I like it!" Likewise. The song selection was great and Moving Units really got the vibe started as they opened up the night for the Faint. If you missed it last night ..GET TO THE NEXT SHOW!

An amazing show. I try to see The Faint every time they are in town because they put on such a great live show and the energy in the room is unlike anything else.

I actually went to see Moving Units. The Faint put on a good show. Just wasn't my thing. I wish Moving Units would have had the same light show capabilities as The Faint, but that would steal some attention from the main act. Club Nokia is a nice, new venue. The upstairs VIP seating seems really intimate because it hangs over the pit a little closer to the state. I would see another show here.

I had never been to Club Nokia before but it was a beautiful venue! The Faint put on an amazing show as always, though the synth instead of violin for Southern Belles in London Sing saddened me. Hope to see more shows at this venue, and more shows from the Faint soon!

Although autoerotique was good, it took him a while to pull the crowd into what he was spinning. Next in the lineup was Moving Units, who I was thoroughly impressed with. I thought the lead singer's voice was a little droning during some songs and hadn't yet perfected his stage presence (there was very minimal transition through songs), they still put on a good show and warmed up the crowd for what most of the show-goers were waiting for. Quite simply, the Faint stole the show. The best part of the show comes from their quirky antics and legit media show in the background, which doesn't overwhelm the music as it would in some bands cases, but only immensely adds to the dynamic nature of their songs. I loved it! :) Not to mention, I really, really enjoyed the venue. I had never been to (or even heard of) Club Nokia, and I was impressed. NOTE: if you want to get into the pit area, be one of the first 400 people there and you get a wristband (not sure if it's that way for all shows, but check beforehand).

The best band at defying categories and crossing genres, the Faint put on an incredible show. It was worth sitting through a god-awful dj, a terrible opening band, and a very late start-ON A SUNDAY NIGHT!!-to see the Faint do what they do so well.

This was our first time at the Club Nokia and it was a nice venue. The last time we saw The Faint at The Music Box, they had some problems with the sound. But the sound at this club was Excellent! The opening bands were good, but The Faint Rocked the show. Great energy from Todd and the musicians in the band made some Great sounds for us to dance too! I Definitely recommend seeing The Faint Live.

All the bands were great, effects were like being in a big venue but had the pleasure of being at the stage, up close and personal. Tokyo Police Club rocked out their session and put on a great show. The Faint played a great mix of their songs, got to hear ALL of my favorites. Love The Faint. So glad I got to make this concert!!!!

Amazing sound, great lighting and visuals, and the new tracks they played were fantastic. They even kept mentioning how awesome the crowd was. Love it when bands show support for their fans :)

Good sound, the band sounds like not a day has passed since this album dropped 11 years ago. Danced hard through the whole show....until a string or something broke on the bass. They were really gracious in the interim though, so no hard feelings :) Fun show!

I hate Terminal 5, but for the Faint I made an exception. This show was amazing, they played all the best songs. the crowd was amazing too- the entire place was moshing and dancing. This never happened to me at a New York show- its usually bunch of hipsters just standing there, being too cool to enjoy the music. The Faint did a great job. would definitely go again!

Where else are you going to find this eclectic mix of people? The Faint pretty much covers all the bases, including: metalheads, emo scenesters, drag-queens, with a few "normal" folks thrown in for good measure. After seeing The Faint @ Variety Playhouse, it's about time we got to see them "up close" and playing old music. Great show with cool visuals, and a decent mix of people for great people-watching.

I'm from Omaha, & was going to be in Kansas on vacation, so decided to see The Faint play in Lawrence while I was at it. I've already seen them probably at least 10 times...but they're just so great, & put on such an amazing show that I'll take any chance I can to see them. I was worried that without the fantastic Omaha crowd that the show wouldn't be as much fun...it took awhile for the crowd to warm up, but the party got started pretty quick. I danced my face off, & had a great time as usual. Anyone who likes the Faint (or likes to have FUN, for that matter), needs to see the Faint play live any chance they get!

the show was really good. i loved the stage set up, it was crazy but that is what made the show even better. the lights with the music was like a light show and went perfect with the set up of the stage. the faint themselves did an awsome job of performing. there were dancing around and having fun. i only have there first cd which happens to be my fave and there best. so i worried that i would not know that many songs, but they played what i wanted to hear and i enjoyed ther rest. i would for sure go to another one of there shows in the furture!

First Avenue is the perfect venue for the Faint. It's big enough to get a crowd, but small enough so that you're still face to face with the band, and there's enough floor space to dance your ass off. Throughout the set there was a mad energy that only the Faint could instill in a crowd of adrenaline-fueled fans. The band was explosive, as usual, and engaging with the audience. They're great musicians but also incredible performers. One of the best parts of the show was watching Jacob Thiele dance like an elegant maniac while effortlessly returning to his keyboard to play right on the beat. All in all, it was a truly awesome show.

I knew it would be fun, but it was even better than expected. I liked the small venue and was up in front the entire time. It wasn't packed at all. The opening band was actually really good - The Chain Gange of 1974. I was really impressed with them. Overall, I would definitely put this in my list of top shows of all time. It was a blast!
