Nice to see that the South has finally embraced the fact that there are talented Bluegrass bands from other parts of the country. This band has been many years in the making and they definitely have an excellent dynamic. All of them are down to earth, extremely talented musicians. Jesse Brock brings an energy that is evidence of his love of the music. My kids loved watching and listening. Keeping an ear out for the stories being told in their original songs also adds interest. The humor that Leigh and Eric bring between songs keeps the show rolling. That was my 10 year old's favorite part! He is now a big Leigh fan.

Fabulous fiddle, blazing banjo, masterful Martin, backbone bass, \u2018mazing mandolin, brotherly taunting, rich, smooth vocals and the razor sharp- spot on harmonies of Leigh and Eric Gibson . This is the Gibson Brothers. Being a fellow Ellenburger and one of the many musicians from this area that hoped to make their mark in music, it is great to see ( hear) that some of us have accomplished that and are at the pinnacle of their musical genre. I have watched and listened to many of their songs over the years but if you enjoy pure, unadulterated bluegrass, experiencing their live performance is mandatory. Well worth the 90 minute drive from Eden Prairie to Rochester. I look forward to The Gibson Brothers' next Minnesota show.

There are not sufficient words to express just how great the Gibson Brothers really are! Their voices are unique, beautiful and always spot on. Their music is a perfect blend of traditional yet new and refreshing, hard driving yet smooth and emotional. I love how they can tell such wonderful stories in their songs. And as musicians they are second to none! They put on a fantastic show at the Fletcher Theater that I traveled five and a half hours to see (from Maryland)...and it was well worth it! As for the Theater it is a wonderful venue; every seat is a good one and it is very intimate and comfortable and well served with great support staff. I also highly commend The Pine Cone front man/ host for the night (sorry I forgot his name). Not only was he friendly, informative and brief, but at the intermission I asked him to talk to the sound people about not being able to hear Eric's banjo on the right side of the theater; and when the second set started I was so delighted that the banjo was loud and clear. I looked for Mr. Pine Cone afterward to thank him properly, but could not find him. So I now am thanking him, Pine Cone and the Fletcher Theater sound staff for being so flexible, approachable and supportive of we who visit your fine establishment. Bless you all.

A great performance by prehaps the best bluegrass group around these days. The singing by Eric and Leigh was outstanding. They are just so very, very good. Joe Walsh was great also. They truly deserve to be The Bluegrass Entertainers of the Year. The new album they have coming out the end of March should be as good as their last effort.

Five extremely talented musicians makes for a fantastic night of entertainment! Their original songs and the stories behind them are so refreshing in a world of "same ole stuff" music. They clearly love what they do. Eric & Leigh's brotherly harmony is wonderful and the "brotherly love" that goes on between songs is amusing. If you like truly talented musicians, you can't help but like this band.

Their music is upbeat and fun, the brothers are hilarious when speaking to the crowd. A most memorable, almost 2 1/2 hour concert. And they come out at intermission and meet the patrons! Very talented traditional blue grass band.
