Delaware 87ers

We had a wonderful time at the 87ers game. The only negative was my seat neighbor was far too large for her seat. She had to sit sideways and was half in my lap, and blocked a good portion of my view. It would be nice if there were some oversized seats available to accommodate such visitors, so that others are not inconvenienced.

The venue and the game were awesome. It is great to watch pro players so close to the action and for such an affordable price. The people in my group were not so favorable on your public address announcer. He was condescending to the opponents and was providing some play by play commentary in an attempt to be funny. Although an enthusiastic and biased announcer is great , I would prefer he leaves out his comments "You can't do that", etc and also to be at least fair to the opponents. He was so bothersome that I would have preferred no commentary at all.

I enjoy watching basketball and I thought the music playing during the game was annoying. I would rather hear the sneakers squeaking and the game interaction. The music was loud and distracting.

This was such a great family fun night!!! Even our teenagers enjoyed it! The venue is small so you feel like you are part of the game. Players were very personable. The mascot, Caesar, got the audience excited and into the game! Would definitely recommend.
