I took my my mother and an few friends for her birthday to see the 5th Dimension (86 years). She loved them and I have to say they put on a very enjoyable show. However... the two warm-up bands were terrible. Whoever booked these two warm-up bands ought to be looking for a new job. This was an elderly audience. These two bands clearly were out-of-place at this venue on this particular night. Their acts included questionable language (inappropriate for this crowd) and just were not good. This seemed to be the general opinion of the people sitting around us. Also, although the Canyon Club is a cute and intimate venue... their over priced food and the extra charges they require you to pay (required tip that goes to the kitchen help as well as the servers) makes it uncomfortable not to leave an additional tip for the server. We didn't eat the salmon, cold and tasteless. We did enjoy the warm cookie and ice cream we ordered and concluded dessert and coffee would have been the way to go... forego the dinner if you plan to attend a concert at the Canyon Club.

This was a great concert where they played about 10-12 of their major hits and added a medley of Motown hits, and even MacArthur Park! At first, the vocals missed slightly but as the concert progressed they were hitting the notes consistently. While background musicians were quite talented and filled the bill, I felt it was missing an instrument or two. At 75, LaRue can still belt out the tunes and the choreography on stage was very good. Her updated backup crew complimented her well. The performance lasted 1.5 hours without intermission. A most enjoyable evening if you like this softer rock from yesteryear.

The Fifth Dimension were phenomenal as always. They are timeless and we can't wait until they return to Las Vegas. Loved chatting with them after the show and getting our CD's and albums signed by everyone. Florence was beautiful and Patrice was stunning!! Everyone should see the Fifth Dimension at least twenty times in their lifetime.

THE SABAN THEATRE WAS A PERFECT PLACE TO SEE THE AMAZING 5TH DIMENSION. THOUGH FLORENCE IS THE ONLY ORIGINAL MEMBER, SHE IS SURROUNED BY 4 OTHER LEAD SINGERS IN THEIR OWN RIGHT. THE OLD HITS AND COVERS THEY DID SOUNDED BETTER THAN EVER. THE OPENING ACT JT MANNING WAS FUN TO HEAR AND THE 2ND MIDDLE ACT(HOOCHIE BLUES) I THINK WAS STAR POWER AT ITS BEST THE FEMALE LEAD WAS A TRUE SHOWMAN AND HIGHLY ENTERTAINING. PARKING ACROSS THE STREET WAS A SHORT WALK THE THE SABAN STAFF WERE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS. WANT TO GO BACK AND SEE ANOTHER GREAT SHOW THERE.

Had no idea that Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. were not going to be performing. The now Fifth Dimension were very good and Florence La Rue was also very good. Just a disappointment to not see Marilyn and Billy. They had two house bands that performed for almost an hour each so one would have been sufficient. Sitting for 2 hours before the featured group performs was disappointing.

Without a doubt one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. Though the names have changed, the soul and energy remains the same. I saw the 5th Dimension in Vegas in the 90s, and this version holds up the standard. The interaction between the group was sweet and funny, and a great part of the show. What an honor to have Ms Marilyn McCoo join everyone on the stage near the close of the show and join with EVERYONE in the theater to sing Aquarius / Let the Sun Shine.

If you enjoy their music, the performance is outstanding. The voices are crystal clear and each performer has their solo moments to shine. Would see them again in a heartbeat!

Original member Florence LaRue was the lead vocalist and did a wonderful job! I enjoyed the music, but would have preferred more time spent on their own hits, and less time singing other groups' music. The audience was treated to a big surprise when Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. were introduced on stage. They sang Aquarius with the group! A very nice evening in a beautiful venue!

This was my daughter, Caitlin's 18th birthday gift. She was brought up on stage to dance with the members of The 5th Dimension. This was an incredible experience for us!! We loved every minute & many memorable songs were sang. A trip back in time for us!!!

Although there is only one member of the original group, she was fantastic. The singers that were added sounded just as good as the otiginals.

The Fifth Dimension played for 1 1/3 hours and it was pure heaven. They were funny and had great voices. Couldn't believe that Marilyn McCoo was 71 the way she moved on stage.

Some of the arrangements were different from the original. Florence La Rue is the only original member. They had good harmonies, particularly acapella. The seating at Fort McDowell was not pleasant and not assigned so if you arrived late you were in the back or far left or right. They sang for a full hour and thirty-five minutes.

Sheer happiness and wonderful memories! The 5th Dimension was awesome! We sang and clapped along with almost every song. I'm only giving 4 stars because the sound mixing was poor - it was really hard to hear the singing over the drums. Even after the singers asked the crowd if we could hear them and we said no, the sound techs turned up the voice mics a little, but failed to turn down the drums. Even with that, it was a terrific evening filled with music, great memories and love!

Fun show! Lots of energy. Even though there was only one original member, all performers did a great job and the whole show was enjoyable. There were a lot of other songs of the era, even though not by 5th Dimension, but we enjoyed them, too.

Seeing The Fifth Dimension took me back to the magic of the times when Peace and Love was the order of the day. I loved their outfits also! It was worth the airport delay getting there. I never thought I would ever get to see them and this was a true gift.

The Fifth Dimension put on a great show and you'd never guess they had been around so long. Their voices were tremendous. The only thing I was unhappy with was they sang their hits for about 1/2 of the concert, then the other half they sang other music. I would have rather heard all Fifth Dimension songs and I know other people in the audience felt the same way. That is the only reason I didn't give them an "Amazing" rating. Their musicians did a fantastic job. I was very impressed. I would definitely see them again, I just want an entire show of Fifth Dimension hits.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 5th Dimension performance in Marietta, GA last night. The last time I saw them was in 1969 at the Iowa State Fair. They are still wonderful performers. They performed for an hour and 40 minutes without a break. Terrific value and a great trip back to my high school and college days.
