Wonderful tribute to Queen. Vocalist was phenomenal. My only complaint was that people would come up from the back for a better view, blocking the view of those who had paid for good seats. Ushers no where to be found to clear the aisles so I had to ask people to move out of the way. The ushers need to do a better job of controlling the audience. Want a seat that is closer to stage, purchase a better ticket.

If you closed your eyes, you'd think you were in the 70's and 80's. The Singer can hit the notes needed to make it totally believable. His mannerisms on stage were spot on. Well done!!

If it weren't for a bloody intermission in the middle of a rock 'n' roll concert, i wouldn't have a single gripe. Mullen's energy, banter with the audience and high-quality voice, which is close enough to Freddy's to properly handle all the challenging songs, made for a great show. Mullen sings a wide range of songs and The Works is a very strong band elevating this tribute band to another level. Mullen seemed to really nail the 1985 and later songs especially well.

Gary Mullen sounded alot like Freddy Mercury and had several of his moves. All though it was not quite like watching Queen it was a good show. He has a great voice and they played alot of Queen's hits. The drummer was great. In a small venue such as the Fox theater you could feel the beat of the drum.

WOW!!! Queen Fans, rock fans, Freddie Mercury fans. This is one super show. Don't Miss it!!! Mullen is so much more than a Freddie Mercury impersonator. He has a terrific voice and more non-stop energy than imaginable. You gotta believe he is channeling all the moves too. The rest of the band is just as good...guitar, drums, keyboards...all as good as the original. The setlist includes all the favorites plus some cuts from the later albums that didn't get as much play in the US. All were superb. The fans were rockin the whole night. Plus, we were lucky to see it at the Bluebird in an up close venue. When the word gets out, they will be playing bigger venues. I'd see this again in a minute.

I never saw the original Queen band live (before my time!), but if you're a fan of Queen, you know amazing their stuff would sound at a concert...and this group DID NOT disappoint. It was *absolutely* incredible; I couldn't have asked for a better concert! They played all the great songs, some of the lesser-known songs, and kept it up for nearly 2hrs straight! The lead singer had Freddie down to science; he strutted, grinded, bowed and OWNED the stage. Not to mention that his voice was incredible. I am so thankful that they came to Denver, and I really hope they make it a regular stop on their tour schedule! DO NOT MISS THIS CONCERT!!!

There is really no words for this show. If you're a die hard Queen fan it will touch your heart. Gary Mullins is perfection. He has brought Sir Mercury back to life. Not to mention such a sweet man, very friendly in meet and greet after show. FABULOUS !!

I just got back from NYC where I saw Rocktopia and The Play that Goes Wrong. I have season tix to the Broward Center and regularly go to Adrienne Arsht for symphonies, ballets and operas. I also like to go to concerts at other venues lncluding U2, Andrea Boccelli, Billy Joel, Elton John, etc. Bottom line is I attend a lot of different entertainment activities. This Queen show was one of the best shows I ve ever seen. The venue was perfect for this type of show and Gary Mullen had the crowd on its feet the entire time. I wish I could see it again I liked it so much.

I so dislike writing reviews that are not stellar. I am quite, quite a Queen fan, but didn t love this show. Great band, wonderful stage lighting, but the lead , being Freddy- not so much. There were moments, but all in all his voice is/was uneven, and just not fabulous enough to pay the price at Parker. Had I heard this as a bar band, would have been more forgiving, but price, venue AND their touring advert. I felt this tribute band wasn t up to snuff!

This is our second time seeing this tribute band to Queen. We saw them two years ago and love the group. I was fortunate to seen Queen play years ago when Freddy was alive. This Singer does a great job making and singing like him. Will see everytime they come to Florida.

Mullen is like a reincarnation of Freddie Mercury.. the rest of the band is pretty good and energetic too... these guys put on a show so good that you almost forget that they are not the original.. They have a huge catalog of Queen classics they perform at a high level and make sure the audience has a great time. If you like more than 2-3 Queen songs (that should be just about everyone) you need to see them!

Reading the reviews, if you have ever seen Queen concerts Freddie Mercury did actually tell people to get off their rears and clap and participate so it isn't Gary Mullen who is looking for praise or that he isn't good enough. Also anyone who says they were astonished that this band left the stage during Bohemian Rhapsody isn't a true Queen fan. Queen themselves did the same thing, as it was impossible to replicate their vocals live since they were overdubbed with many layers in the studio, they would go backstage change and run back on for the hard rocking part.

Since I always wished to have seen Queen back in the day with Freddie Mercury, after seeing Gary Mullen and the Works you can imagine what it was like. I was extremely impressed how they have replicated them so well. Gary Mullen's voice is on par, the songs sounded like the real thing, sang Love of My Life beautifully. It's a great band they have Queen down and that isn't easy they even played early Queen songs that are never played on radio. Gary has transformed himself, Freddie's costumes and Freddie's moves down to a tee. The lighting was spectacular, the whole show was high energy, Gary had the crowd going with Freddie's words and mannerisms, thoroughly enjoyable. They do Queen justice in keeping the band alive and well. I know Brian and Roger are still performing but I can't bring myself to see them with Adam Lambert as lead, he makes a mockery of Queen. I'd rather see an imitation as a tribute to the late great Freddie there is no one who can fill his shoes. Gary Mullen does justice to his memory.

I've seen Gary Mullen and the Works several times over the years and they never disappoint. This is about the closest you're going to get to seeing Freddie Mercury and Queen. Very enjoyable and cover the great depth of Queen music. Highly recommended!

I catch these guys every year they come to town. Gary has captured the essence of Freddie Mercury. His vocals, his mannerisms and his stage presence gets everyone on their feet. For someone who won a local TV competition, he has made a worldwide career of bringing back memories for Queen fans while creating new ones along the way. His band, The Works, also cannot be overlooked. These guys are true musicians in every sense and bring you back to a time when musicians were allowed to shine and show their raw talent onstage. You are guaranteed a rockin night from the moment the show starts..and you won't want it to end.

This was probably my 14th time seeing One Night of Queen. I always see them three times when they're in the United States. I must have front row. Venue was small and quaint. The smaller the better. The band gets the crowd up out of their seats which I like.

The show was FANTASTIC! Ron Mullen did Freddy Mercury proud! He was entertaining and energetic- very interactive with the crowd! The band was phenomenal-especially the lead guitarist! His re-creation of Brian May's leads was dead on! The only complaint I have is that it ended too soon- I could have listened to them all night!

If you've never seen ONOQ you are missing the best Freddie Mercury impersonation ever. "Gary Mullen & The Works" are the best. Gary has the Freddie voice & the Freddie moves and always gives a GREAT performance. Song include "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Another One Bites The Dust", "I Want To Break Free", "We will Rock You", "We Are The Champions", and several other great Queen songs!! Go see One Night Of Queen. Queen was one of my favorite bands in the 70's and 80's. I never got to see them in concert when I was younger because the tickets were too expensive. (I was in grade school when "A Night at the Opera" was released and in junior high when "News of the World" received radio airplay.) I think "One Night of Queen" was strikingly similar to Queen's "Live in Montreal" (1981) performance. (I've watched Queen's concert footage on youtube and really enjoyed it!) Gary Mullen portrayed Freddie Mercury fantastically and the lead guitarist played solid solos and riffs just as good as Brian May. The group's performance was energetic and the concert was a lot fun. I thought it was an excellent tribute to Queen. My friend and had a blast singing and dancing to nearly every song !! What an awesome show!!

Left at the intermission -- bass player and drummer way too loud could not here the singer. Overplayed the gay thing way too much. Wasted my money. Sound engineer should be replaced - i could have mixed the sound better!!!
