I have just recently starting listening to Needtobreathe and was excited to find they were coming to The Basement. I thought they did an amazing job and kept the crowd entertained. I would definitely see them again. Great live band!

Needtobreathe takes the stage in an unassuming manner. Sure, they look the part: The v-neck shirt, trendy myriad of necklaces, but Needtobreathe is different. The opening verses of "Outsiders" breathes life into the Basement, an intimate venue ideal for concert goers looking for a casual but explosive musical experience. Bo, brother of lead singer Bear Rinehart, jams on the banjo, and Needtobreathe are in their element. The show is captivating from start to finish. While "Girl from Tennessee" had fans dancing, living the pastoral dream of growing up in the rural south, or being engulfed in the gospel feel of "Lay 'em Down," Needtobreathe brings their vision of Heaven, be it the Jesus they pursue or the childhood they knew, into the hearts of their fans. With a stunning acoustic rendition of "Something Beautiful" to wrap up a fantastic evening, Needtobreathe is doing exactly what they're meant to do, and doing it humbly.

I am a student at West Virginia University and am an intern with Arts & Entertainment. We have bands come through town all the time and I work with all the concerts that the University promotes. I was extremely impressed with Needtobreathe and would confidently say that they are, hands down, one of the best shows that I have ever seen. They are an extremely talented band! Loved the variety of instruments, harmony was phenomenal, and the stage presence was captivating. I would definitely recommend them!

This band has a definite energy and is able to really hook an audience!! I liked their music beforehand, and was really excited to see them live, but it was so much better than I could have expected...The venue was great too, very inviting and relaxing. It seemed to fit the band's persona as well.

If you are familiar with NTB's music, you know that HARD LOVE is a bit different from their earlier work. So it will be no surprise that this concert is different, too. This was my 4th NEEDTOBREATHE concert, but I've always seen them at smaller venues (House of Blues - Cleveland). First of all - Meadow Brook Ampitheater is a fabulous concert venue! Convenient and easily accessible, beautiful, great seats, great sound. I am a fan! There were some smaller, quieter moments I missed (the four of them doing an acoustic encore at the edge of the stage), but I was in no way disappointed! Everything about their performance was BIGGER - the venue, theproduction value, extra musicians, backup singers, the video screen. But everything that makes me love their music and their concerts was still there - edgy vocals, powerful lyrics, hard rocking music, and incredibly gifted musicians. They sound as good live as they do on their albums, and they are AWESOME live - terrific performers and SO much energy! NEEDTOBREATHE concerts are not too be missed!

I may be biased since this is my favorite band, but it was the best show I've seen in a long time. Great mix of new & old songs. Just a great performance overall. Only complaint was the "swampy" weather as Bear called it!

Needtobreathe rocked the house! It was the best concert I've ever been to. Welshly Arms was phenomenal, JMM killed it, and Mat Kearney was a blast to have on stage. Needtobreathe came out and it was a "Great Night" for everyone! There was so much energy, and this high will last for days! I can't wait to see them again!!

Everyone performed really well. The openers included Colony House, Dew Holcomb and the Neighbors, and Switchfoot. Switchfoot's show definitely made my night. The lead singer was just really energetic and commanded the stage very well. It was an electric night and if you saw any of these bands you would thoroughly enjoy yourself.

This show was simply incredible! Having never listened to their stuff, I've become a fan of Drew Holcomb. Their sound is like honey, slow, smooth & sweet. They make me want to drop everything and move to Nashville to hang out on a back porch somewhere. Switchfoot did not disappoint. Their lead singer is an all-around amazing performer. He's a little wild and crazy, but it always makes for a great show! I haven't listened to their new stuff in years, but I think they may have reignited my passion as a fan. I wouldn't rank Terminal 5 as the best place to see a show, but it was okay. The floor was really crowded and I suffered through being elbowed and stepped on through the first three acts and was determined to remain for the final act and my favorite band! I was about to have a panic attack when NEEDTOBREATHE took the stage and all of my stress just melted away! They are absolutely incredible, I was dancing along to every song even though the tall guy behind me was using my back as an elbow rest! The energy of NYC is just unlike any other city, and the show was incredible! The only thing that disappointed me was that the venue was too big for Needtobreathe's signature unplug and sing where they turn off all their instruments, tell the audience to come close and sing a cappela. Swoon... Oh well, I'll catch them next time they're in town, hopefully at the cozy Irving Plaza.

The first two acts were pretty good. They got the crowd up and active and performed some very memorable songs. Switchfoot was third on the bill and did a stellar job. Jon Foreman spent his usual time running through the crowd to give everyone a good show! Then came the final part of the show. They dropped the back drop that was used for the first three bands and blinded us. The light show from behind the band made this group hard to watch without sunglasses. We were constantly blinded by the lights that shot right out into the crowd.

This was my first experience at an amphitheater venue in almost 30 years. It took me a while to get use to the socializing that was taking place during the event, especially the opening acts, but then learned to see it as a huge block party. The music was great. The Venue. The Rose Music Center is a fantastic new music venue, completely new construction, seats about 5,000 with not a bad seat in the house. Everything is sparkly clean and new. Located in North Dayton/Huber Heights, it was an easy 45-50 minute drive from Cincinnati, very easy in and out, right of the exit (first exit off I-70, east of I-75). Loved the fact that parking was free for the event ... Not sure if that will be the case for every show, but I appreciated not getting squeezed for an extra $5-10 for parking after buying tickets. There were a couple "hiccups" in the service areas ... Note: while I appreciate the concern with underage drinking, your staff should be able to serve a 45-year-old man without needing to see an ID ... this backed up the beer line considerably. Prices were reasonable. Sound was awesome. I give the venue 4½ stars ... ½ off just because the general location feels like the middle of an industrial park. One Venue Hint: I think I would have picked the first row BEHIND the pit, rather than the second to last row in the pit, if I had the choice. First row in the arena is basically eye level with the performers, and they have way more leg room and space than pit seats. The Concert. The show started with a band I had not heard of (Colony House), young guys playing U2-inspired rock-and-roll. Loved this band. Sounds way better live than the songs available on iTunes. Drew Holcomb followed ... He is quite simply one of the best songwriters out there. Ben Rector was the reason we came to the show, and he was fantastic ... very personable and engaging, he too is a great songwriter and sounded unbelievable live, sang and played both piano and guitar. Needtobreathe was the headliner and they definitely rocked the Rose. Honestly, I knew little about them before the show, and I am not a Christian (most of their lyrics are faith-inspired), but I loved the songs and the performance.

I've only heard about 8 songs of NEEDTOBREATHE. I had never heard of Colony House, Drew Holocomb & the Neighbors, and Ben Rector. Colony House started things off with a few songs. One was great, one I didn't like at all, and 2 that were ok. Having never heard them I didn't know what to expect. Nor what to expect of Drew Holcomb, who came on next. Wow. Such a crystal clear voice. Liked all their songs. Not even my style of music but was fantastic - I even bought the CD when I got my daughter a Tour de Compadres t-shirt. Then Ben Rector came on. Great performer and very engaging with the audience. Both Ben and Drew post things on Instagram from each of their concerts (and Ben does other stuff, too). Very fun. I was nicely surprised how much I liked Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors. But then NTB came on, and the concert went to a whole new level. They rocked the whole time. Sound was great. Music vs. audio was well balanced. Show was spectacular. I feel like an idiot for not having come see them when they were here last fall. And I understand they will be back this fall and will not be missing it. I've been to a bunch of concerts over the years and seen small acts to large mega-bands and I would rate this one in my top 5. Truly, even among the mega bands that have been performing for decades. This band has an energy that not only carries through to the audience but envelopes you and makes you feel you are truly a part of it. They are an excellent live-performance band. And, in fact, I honestly think they sound better live than on CD/Radio. The energy and conviction with which they sing is just that more intense live - and it's awesome. (They have a new live album I'll have to investigate.) End result: If you even remotely like NTB then DO NOT miss this concert. You can bring the kids. This is a great concert for eveyone.

Every needtobreathe show I've been to, (and it has been many) , has been different: they are a very creative and unique band, with some saying that they could be the CS Lewis of the musical world. I was lucky enough to have a VIP pass and got to meet them backstage and it was a great experience. Only downfall was that the seats we bought were on the side of the stage and had the view obstructed by some of the stage props. Wish we could have physically chosen the seats on Ticketmaster. My VIP pass however allowed me access to the floor area for a better experience.

I have seen these guys in concert SEVERAL times and every single time, they've been amazing. But this show... omgosh... was incredible!! Best one I've ever seen live or taped. They really give it all they've got every time they do a show and you can tell.

This was the second time I have seen NEEDTOBREATHE at HoB Boston and it was incredible. It was even better than the first time. The sheer energy and passion of the performers was amazing and they just sounded great. The little change ups to the songs made the show fresh and interesting and I just had a fantastic time. If someone goes to a NEEDTOBREATHE show once they will end up trying to go to another one, they are just that good. Even the opening act was amazing!

This was my first Need To Breathe concert but will not be my last. They played with so much heart and soul. I am so proud that SC has someone that stands out for the best qualities in a group -- not only great singers, but a brotherhood that loves their hometown and God. They are so energetic, you can't help but stand and dance and sing along with them. They draw you end and you don't want it to end!

We drove up to Nashville from Orlando to see Needtobreathe. The venue - The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel - was beautiful and unique. The stage was tucked back into a little hill on the side of a mountain, surrounded by woods, under an open starry sky. Just gorgeous. Needtobreathe got on stage and every new song was a new experience. They are excellent performers. Bear (lead singer) really engages the crowd and tells the story of the album. Each of the 3 singers/guitarists changed instruments for nearly every song. They are truly talented. I was moved to tears several times during the show. Tears of sheer happines, tears of sentimentality (these songs have meant so much to me over the past decade), and tears that come when you feel the love of God. I would drive to TN again to see them in a heartbeat, though I hope they tour in Florida again. <3

Very good sound and stage presence. They had a few songs that were so raw it just made your heart throb in pain listening to them. It was incredible.

...is awe. These guys rocked another show. I love the Alabama Theater, I love NEEDTOBREATHE....what else can I say. And apparently, I'm not the only one. They sold out two nights in a row....at the same venue! Always a privilege to see them perform.

Needtobreathe has been my FAVORITE band for 6 yrs and after this concert they will remain my favorite. This was only our second needtobreathe show, don't ask why, idk what took me so long. Not all bands sound good live but these guys sound better live than in studio, and that's saying something. They give 120% every single song. So much passion and talent. We had a great time!

Needtobreathe never disappoints. I wasn't too stoked about having to stand the whole time but I ended up liking it. I wish they played more old stuff though. The new album has only been out a month so a lot of people didn't know the songs.

Needtobreathe has been my favorite band since 2009, and getting to see them live was amazing. I stood in line for over 3 hours and it was so worth it. I got to be so close to the stage, and I got amazing pictures. I would go see them again tomorrow if I could! Foy Vance was amazing as well. He's like a one man band. Really great voice.

NEEDTOBREATHE and Drew Holcomb are fantastic performers, entertaining and engaging on the stage, and extremely talented. Both bands definitely had a good rapport with each other, even showing up to help sing for each others' songs (and even pulling pranks on one another, which kept us laughing but didn't distract from the show). The concert length was good, the encore was fantastic, the music was studio quality, both bands had incredible stage presence, and I would definitely go to this again. I regret that I could only give these performers 5 stars... NOTE: We drove 7 hours to see this show... was worth it? Absolutely.

I have been to a lot of concerts and this one was my favorite! I love NEEDTOBREATHE's music and they are truly amazing performer. They get so into the music, watching them rock out is so fun. They played almost all of my favorite songs. Also they played three songs for their encore which I like versus one song.

As far as venues go, there probably isn't a cooler venue around thanks to the gorgeous look of the bay with the backdrop of Pt Loma and a host of palm trees. Sound quality was fantastic, and there were plenty of ushers to help with getting people to their seats and creating a welcoming atmosphere for concertgoers. This was the second time I have seen Needtobreathe live, and I'll continue to see them live whenever they play in Southern California or elsewhere if I can. They are EVEN BETTER live than in the recorded albums. If you have the opportunity to see them live, do it, and you will not regret it. For this show there were two opening performances, one by Matthew Mayfield and the other by Good Old War. Matthew was just okay and a bit boring to be honest. I really liked Good Old War, they had good energy and were quirky in a positive way. Overall, this was a fantastic show with the beautiful backdrop of the San Diego Bay, I don't see it getting any better than that!!

I was blown away by the abilities of both of these bands to play/sing so well on stage! It was an unforgettable experience, and Parachute came out to sign autographs after they played. I'm not even a Parachute fan, but they did a really great job and I enjoyed it. And NEEDTOBREATHE was incredible... I was afraid they wouldn't be as good live but they were better! Bear Rinehart is a great performer and has such command over his voice! If you are considering going to one of their concerts, don't think... just do it!!!!

The main reason I attended this concert was to see Parachute. I had seen them the month before and also had the pleasure of meeting Will, Johnny and Nate (lead singer, drummer andguitarist respectively). I'd never heard of Drew Holcomb, who was the opening act, but aftet his set I became a definite fan. Parachute was next and like always they always perform a top notch show. Will really knows how to make an audience feel welcomed and tries to involve them in their live shows. After Parachute's set I was able to meet the entire band and also Drew Holcomb. If you dont like the music at least meet the guys. Very down to earth and very nice. They were all up for pictures and autographs. It was my second time seeing NeedToBreathe live and they are AMAZING. Fantastic show & I highly reccommend it!

Needtobreathe certainly never disappoints, and the show at Six Flags was no exception! Though the crowd was less engaged as a whole than normal, the band still brought the intensity they bring as if it were a small local show. Bo even made sure to pose while playing for a few fans that walked up to the edge of the stage to take pics with the band as their background during the show! Thanks for the passion and fire Needtobreathe! We love you guys!
