Overall it was a great show my daughter and her best friend had the time of their life

Melanie puts on a legitimate show. She doesn't just get on stage and sing, she sings to her audience while telling a story, the story of CryBaby. She gets so into her music which gets the crowd into it. Was lovely.

I bought the Milk and Cookies VIP. It beat last years VIP by a lot. There was only 30 people compared to about 200 last year. It was much more organized and she is still so down to earth! All of the VIP was able to get front row. General admission was very pushy though and made things a little uncomfortable. It was all worth it in the end though. I can't wait for the next VIP in Pittsburgh!

Had a great time in this small venue. Melanie is a great singer with haunting vocals and great song writing. Hope to see more from her soon.

I loved the concert. Melanie was great. There was some confusion on when the meet and greet was that we had paid for. Apparently we weren't the only ones that were confused. We thought it was after. When we got there we found out that we had missed it. We talked to the guy that checked our tickets and he said that others were confused as well so they were doing one after for those who missed. He instructed us to stay for it. Well, at the end of the concert the security guys kicked us out anyways even though we were telling him that we were told to stay after. I am extremely disappointed that we did not get all that we paid for. We had even bought "dollhouse" shirts for Melanie to sign for us. Not sure if we would pay the extra again. Lesson learned!!!

The show was largely geared toward teenage girls. I understand the need to build a following by having a consistent "theme", so I will be keeping an eye on her as she matures and develops as an artist in that hope that we'll see more if the stuff like her rendition of White Stripes "Seven Nation Army" from her time on NBC's "The Voice". Her singing was stellar. She has really improved tremendously, but lyrically, again... really geared toward 16-18 year old girls in my opinion. I'd recommend her concerts to this age group in an effort to support her as she "pays her dues" (under 100 people at this particular show).

Melanie was so cool and poised! Her singing was just INCREDIBLE and even though there were technical difficulties out of her control, she remained calm and never broke her character as a performer! I was literally mesmerized through the whole thing

I've been to all of Melanie's New York shows and this was by far the best! Melanie's voice is haunting and song lyrics thought provoking. This is a unique talent that needs to be heard. Melanie grows with each performance and is destined for great things!!

I loved the intimate setting that The Basement offered. We purchased meet and greet tickets and they exceeding my expectations. My daughter got to spend about 15-20 minutes talking to Mel.

Her voice was perfect.. The venue was awful. Dirty, flooded. The sound was miserable. She was so frustrated with the sound guy and I don't Blame her. Will not be returning.

I took my 14 year old daughter and my niece to see Melanie Martinez and the show was very good!! She has an amazing voice and connected to the audience. The stage was set up with awesome props and the light show was really good. The show should have been longer. The show was set for 8 pm and they started to let the crowd in at 8 pm. We found our seats and at about 8:20 Ghost started to play until about 9 pm. When he was done we sat and waited until almost 9:30 pm and then Melanie came on until 10:25 pm. For all the waiting that we did the show definitely should have been longer. Melanie if you read this we would def come to see you again in concert but would like a longer show!!!!

Very organized venue. The setlist was amazing and the opening act was okay. Melanie has amazing vocals both on the studio album and in person. Was worth every penny.

The show was awesome. Her smile is beautiful. I took my daughter since she loves Melanie Martinez, it was worth the 4hour drive (one way) to get there. She is so appreciative of her fans and puts on a great show.

I thought it was a great concert and all but the outside was just so unorganized, security didn't really know how to tame the lines. Also Melanie's first act kept us waiting for like almost 30 minutes which to me is crazy if you really love your fans but over all it was really good.

I loved being able to see Melanie perform live!! She was amazing along with the setup that she used. The only bad thing I really have to say about it is that there are a lot of people and you will get pushed up against the crowd when the show starts. So, if you're claustrophobic and have been known to black out or have anxiety attacks, then a Melanie concert may not be the best environment for you.

Melanie has an amazing stage presence and the venue was packed. The audience was very energetic. We also liked the starting act.

Martinez made great use of the stage and moved to different points where everyone in the crowd had a chance to see her! They chose a headliner with good vibes. The interactive feel with the crowd was playful and fun through sing-alongs, smoke, bubbles, and confetti. After many cheers, Melanie Martinez came back out for an encore! Melanie was great! She sings so well live and did all of her songs. I would definitely recommend going to see her if you like her music.

The eco stage was a great venue to see a show. It was easy to get in and out of there and plenty of parking. Melanie was awesome and the band Haunted Ghost was the opening act and was fantastic! A must see show.

Handsome Ghost (Melanie's opening act) was amazing, and Melanie was great. She sounds the same live as on CD. I do wish it was more of a organized event, instead of GA, but it wasn't terrible. I wasn't able to see a lot, being 5'3 with a bunch of people in front of me but that's my fault. I should've gotten there earlier to get a better spot. Overall, it was a great concert and her concerts will only improve over the years with more experience.

My family of four flew from Texas to Maine to to see Melanie Martinez. She was awesome and worth the flight. The Venue is hell. I'd recommend a renovation.

The concert in Portland, Maine was honestly amazing. Melanie has such a beautiful voice, and I will definitely see her the next time she comes back!! I love her so much.

This was my daughter and I's second time seeing Melanie here in Maine. Once in 2014 at Port City Music Hall and Monday night at the State Theatre. What can I say she is so awesome to see Live. Anyone who hasn't got to see her perform live is missing out. I can't wait until she's back in Maine again. As long as she keeps coming back we'll be there every time :)

Such a great show! Love the venue and the performance

Empty songs, no dynamics, same tempo throughout the evening. I think she lip syncs because there was no spotlight, just a back lit stage so you couldn't see her face, just a silhouette walking across the stage. No band, just two people playing synthesizers and a drum kit. This was the worst live performance I have seen in 40 years.

Melanie Martinez concert was awesome! Took my daughter and her friend and I thought the show was great, and I am in my 50's!

Melanie puts on a great show for all ages. She also expresses her gratitude towards her fans and the VIP is completely worth it!

Melanie herself is definitely worth seeing, my issue with the concert however is the crowd. I've been to plenty of shows in my life and this is the first one I've found to be not enjoyable because of the CROWD. It's a bunch of 14 year olds and below who definitely don't understand her lyrics and definitely aren't mature enough for them (she talks about meth addiction, jfc). They SCREAM-sang along with her and ruined the entire experience.

We loved the concert , hated that we had to stand the whole time in the hot building. But it was an amazing concert and we had a great time.

The tickets stated 6:30 so we drove 3 hours to the event and got there an hour early. Found out that the doors opened at 6:30, not show time. Waited in line for almost 2 hours just to get inside. Problems with security trying to show some authority even though they were kids. There was an opening act that was ok. Melanie hit the stage at 9:12 pm. Shortest playlist I've ever seen. She seemed to make the young girls in the crowd happy, but the adults were less than thrilled. Overall, too much hype for so little show. Concert was moved inside because of fear of rain. Was 100 degrees in that room. She did put on a good performance though.

I am a huge Melanie fan and bought VIP tickets the moment they were available! Unfortunately the show was a let down. The meet and greet was nothing like the small intimate experiences you read about online! Instead it's 40-50 people lined up for a 30 second photo and you can't even ask for Mel's autograph! The show also ran hours late! The opening act went on over an hour late and Melanie didn't go on for another two hours or so after that. They really should change the name of the "meet and greet" as that was not at all what we got. I sure would not have paid over $100 per ticket for a photo opp :(

I have mixed feelings about this concert. The quality of Melanie Martinez herself was AMAZING. She is such talented young girl and I LOVE her music. She was really good live. However the show was suppose to start at 6:30 and she never came on until 9:15. I was not happy. My friend and I waited 2 hours prior in line, then another 3 until she came on the stage. After she started, we only stayed for a couple of songs because we were exhausted from waiting for so long. I just don't understand why a talented singer would make her fans wait forever...very unprofessional. The number of people who were thirsty and tired of standing...crew had to pour water in fans' mouths and oftentimes people would just sit down on the floor and wait for her to come out on stage. But I can't like hate her for this because she sounded really good. I just wished that I could have stayed longer and saw the rest of the concert...and her starting extremely late is the reason why I didn't stay. I'd honestly would be scared to go to another concert of hers simply because I don't know if she would start on time or not.

The stage crew took forever to put the stage together. Some people went too hard and were escorted out. Some threw bras, underwear, bears, and flip flops on stage. Handsome Ghost was okay. Couldn't hear a word they said. Howevee, Melanie came onstage and was exactly how I thought she would be. Very enthusiastic and not censored at all. Overall, very fun but with some rude fans in the mix.

Melanie was amazing. The concert was so beautiful and I was so close to the stage and it felt wonderful. I loved the sense of unity of being around hundred of people who love Melanie just as much as I do. We started a little late but that was okay because Melanie made up for it. You could tell she really loved her fans as she performed two extra songs for us. The concert was a little short and I do wish Melanie spoke maybe a little bit more in between each song but Melanie only has one album out so it wasn't really her fault with how short the concert was. She was just so cute and energetic and I wish I could go back and see her again. I so totally can't wait until her next time in Pittsburgh!

She had a sold out show and not one person was disappointed. She sang beautifully as I knew would happen, and she spoke to the audience..didn't just perform and leave. She moves around all over the stage and was all around amazing...ill be seeing her again.

Melanie put on a great show; her set and her enthusiasm was great and she really tried to interact with the crowd. Melanie's personality is very sweet and it was shown with her words throughout the concert. Usual when it comes to concerts at stage AE I'm able to get there an hour prior to doors opening and the line is really short- even 2 hours before Melanie was packed! The line was wrapped around 3 blocks and only got longer. Despite the huge thunderstorm and pour down we had to wait through while in the entrance line, the show was well worth my time and the money! Love Melanie so so much and would recommend her show to anyone who knows all of her songs, or is just learning to become a fan. After the show it felt like Melanie gave you big huge and that's all thanks to her personality and the way she chose to put her show on!

If you have the chance to see Melanie live, please take that chance! She's a amazing singer and i had the time of my life! Even though the show goes by quick, its so worth it!!

The show was absolutely awesome! One of the most talented people I have seen in concert, but be aware for all the 12 year olds that will come. I do not understand why they are there because most of her music has very dark undertones and inappropriate language, but for some reason they were there. and boy were they annoying. Not all of the fan base was, but there were more than your average concert.

If you are a avid fan of Melanie, you already know how amazing she is. But her live performances give just as much (sometimes even more) intensity and enthusiasm as you would hear in her albums. If I could go everyday for the rest of my life, I would. Even if you only know a song or two, or if you have been singing alongside her when she was on the Voice, Melanie Martinez gives a performance you will be talking about for months.

So enjoyed the show. She was dressed for the show, could sing and has a personality that comes through her music. One of the few Voice contestants that have become successful and I can see why. She has style!

She's one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Meeting her was amazing and being able to experience her live was like a dream. I would definitely pay to see her again.

She was amazing, the opening act AJR was so energetic and Melanie was awesome. The songs were strange in a great way and the sound was dark, circusy, and very powerful. It was one of my favorite concerts so far.

My Daughter and I went to Melanie's Show in Portland, Maine. She was Amazing!!! We had Meet & Greet Tickets, so we were able to have Pictures Taken with her, talk with her and even meet her Dad who was the one who took our Pics. We were lucky enough to stand Front and Center of the Stage while she performed literally like 12 feet away from us :) In all my Years of attending shows, this was my Favorite. If you get a chance to see Melanie in Concert. Don't miss the opportunity you'll definitely regret it!

Overall, Melanie's performance was solid. Nothing too special, I was honestly expecting more since she was on The Voice, but she was fine. I really liked her aesthetic before going to see her and so I was excited for the show, but it was miserable. I waited in line 10 hours and was in the 2-3rd row in the G/A pit. I didn't mind the waiting as I have been to plenty of G/A shows. But when we got into the venue was when the ridiculousness ensued. Her fans were inconsiderate, rude, and overall bratty. I had to get aggressive with some of them because they were pushing so much. We were packed in like sardines and the guy in front of me literally sweat right on me all night. Additionally, most everyone had their phones out in front of them for the entire show. It was honestly just sad. Nobody knows how to enjoy a show anymore. A couple of pictures is OK but when you have your phone out taking pictures and video for 80% of the show, it's a bit ridiculous. Plus, your snapchat friends dont want to see the entire show anyway! If I ever do go to another Melanie show, I will definitely sit at the bar instead of the G/A.

This was the best concert I've ever been to. The crowd was so energetic. Everyone was having as much fun as me. Melanie sang her heart out, and so did the crowd. She put on a good show, the stage upset was awesome. I could see her so well it was exciting. I would have loved more songs!

The sound was horrible throughout the concert, she sang for an hour, no multimedia or anything like that. Next time they should come more prepared with a better sound system and a big screen sand

Melanie Martinez was amazing. She pretty much sung her whole album. Just wish here was seating options. I got reminded why I HATE general admission.

I love Melanie , and TO GET to see her live was the best experience ever ! Her show was so amazing and I wish I could go back and relive that night. Her stage was beautiful and her dancing gave me life . I love how she's interactive with the fans and she would let us sing parts of the songs . It was just an amazing unforgettable night !!

Being in the pit was miserable, but it was worth it

The concert was good. The set was awesome. It was way to loud. The sound guys had it so loud you really couldn't understand the words that were being sung. We paid extra for VIP which only got us table top chairs and a waitress, who barely came around. I feel for the added expense VIP should have gotten us either right up at the stage seating, a meet and greet, free drinks, soda only, Also no food was served which was weird.

I have seen shows at Bogart's before, and it is simply one of the worst venues in Cincinnati. It is especially terrible for major artists like Melanie Martinez. It was tragically too small for her to use any of the props and set dressings, the engineering was off, and it is impossible to reach any of the restrooms. I will say, though, that the staff at Bogart's has always been friendly. Melanie Martinez put on a fascinating show: she sang all of her songs perfectly, but there is a serious criticism--she did not interact with the audience. The performance was little more than one song after another. I wish there was more to really captivate us, but technically, she made no mistakes.

The performance was spectacular, the acting was spot on, however the actual singing was majorly lacking. I've been to other concerts in past years and she has done just fine - maybe she wasn't feeling too well for this one?

I enjoyed the concert. The only thing was the sound quality wasn't the best. You could barely hear her over the bass.

Show was entertaining for my daughter and niece They loved it. Sang every song. I have only one complaint and that was my seat..good location to see the stage if the support pole was not right in front of me. It was an end seat.That seat or seats should not be sold. Very obstructed view. Pictures were not possible.

The line situation was terrible. Nobody monitored most of it, so everyone was skipping and shoving, but other than that the concert was well done and amazing. Please bring Melanie back.

Took my 15 year old daughter to the show....it was packed. Melanie came out and did over an hour set. She sounded great! Awesome show!

Took my daughter and niece to see Melanie Martinez. Although she's my daughter's favorite artist, i enjoyed the show. I would definitely take her to see Melanie again. Parking was right next to the event. Long line but that was expected.

Ms. Martinez did all the songs here fans wanted to hear. Unfortunately she doesn't have a large catalogue of material. Her set was just over an hour. Opening act Handsome Ghost were forgettable. This new generation of artists don't understand that they must entertain as well as play their songs. Melanie's stage set was good but she needs to learn to interact with the audience more. Handsome Ghost was like listening to a recording. People spend good money to see a SHOW, not just listen to music.
