While playing with his band, Ludo uses backing tracks to provide drums, effects, and synth sounds. I found it distracting from the talent that was on stage. Good karaoke show, but disappointing "live" show.

Magnificent. Magic. Unforgettable. As a classical and contemporary music lover, this was by far one of the best concerts I've been too. Impossible not to fall in love with Einaudi's latest album, In a time lapse.

Excellent and Amazing performance ! As expected from the great Ludovico Einaudi, Daniel Hope and all the great great musicians who are all breathtaking ! You can feel the vibes that flow among them, and the pleasure they have to play together. It was my second time listening to Ludovico Eindaudi LIVE and it was still fantastic ! Bonus : what a pleasure to have a signed version of his new album ! Unfortunately two little disappointment : -I do not call "Golden Seat" a seat that is on the second row at one edge of the room...(my neck is still hurting and I could not see all the musician...) -The quality of the speakers were terrible !! Come on, this class of artist truly deserve the best equipment !!

The best concert I have seen in the last 10 years. Of course, I knew Einaudi's music was extraordinary but didn't expect the concert to be so beautiful and neatly organized in all of its parts. The support musicians were so good that almost made me forget I was there for Einaudi.

Absolutely amazing concert! If you thought Einaudi was great on his albums, his live music is unmatched, with how clear and crisp everything is along with the sheer talent of not only himself, but those who work with him. Every note is ever so carefully planned, yet so smoothly played, and the results are outstanding. *** TIP: For tickets receiving a free, signed CD, you must present ALL ticket stubs to the right side table in the main lobby ***

Ludovico's had profoundly impacted my appreciation of music and life as a whole. I thought the concert would be only his new CD, but he also played all of the songs that made me fall in love with his music in the first place. Amazing performance and orchestra. Will see him again. Just amazing

Great performance! This was the second time I've seen him perform in NYC ( I think he has only had two concerts here). I was mesmerized the first and this time was even better! The violinist added the most beautiful sound to his performance! I hope he will plan a future event in NYC again.

Beautiful evening with such talented musicians! Would book again in a heartbeat. The only downside of the evening was the temperature of Town Hall. It was absolutely freezing - we had to keep our jackets on the entire night, and that wasn't enough to keep us warm.

Theatre was somewhat noisy, considering that Einaudi's music has a high range of silence to jamming. There was a heater or something that kept clicking on/off, and I heard every little thing happening in the audience. Once I was finally able to tune all that out, Einaudi's performance was phenomenal. He really delivers. His feeling in expression was outstanding. After the concert, I got to meet Mr. Einaudi, and that was a highlight for me and my family. I'll see him again.

I could not stop talking about the show! I ve been obsessed with his music for years and hearing him play live was definitely an experience I would never forget. The team did an amazing job playing multiple instruments and bringing the music to life! Felt chills through my body the entire show. OUTSTANDING! The crowd went wild for them and they performed a few more songs for us!

His show was a healthy mix of his solo piano pieces and his instrumental pieces, and I've got to say that the instrumentals blew me away. They used unconventional instruments and were jumping around from one instrument to another. His solo pieces were executed gracefully with no stop between them. Instead he used soft transitions that were elegantly placed. In total he probably played the piano solo for about 20 minutes straight before he broke for other songs. The visuals displayed in the background were invoking and enhancing of the experience. Would go again and again!

Sorry to say, I found this one of the most boring concerts I have ever attended. Typically four chords played repeatedly over and over and over......with interludes of screaming synthesizers. We came to the concert as we like Einaudi' s recordings. But even before the concert I was suspecting that I would become numb to the repetition. I DO believe that Einaudi does this with purpose and artistic intent. Minimalism must have its followers, but I am not one of them.

I'm from Atlanta and we have the "fabulous fox" but I have to say the Warner Theatre felt more intimate and was almost as lovely. The performance we witnessed was AMAZING! Six musicians creating so much emotion, sound, movement. More important -- there was every age group, ethnicity, socio-economic represented with the listeners. It was wonderful.. refreshing.. and proved that MUSIC unites us all .. if only we could live that everyday.

The venue was great in itself, but Ludovico's performance with the team was everything we had hoped for. The cellist was the star of the evening a long with our pianist. Ludovico was very reserved and not very engaging with the crowd but is understandable as this was a very vulnerable moment for all of us and an insight into his heart. No pictures were allowed .

I am an Einaudi fan but this concert was disappointing. In the middle of the concert he performed a piano solo that must have been at least 45 minutes straight and it seemed he was stuck in a loop that he couldn t get himself out of. I will still listen to his music but just won t go to a concert to do so.

There was an accompanying band, composed of four people, all of which played multiple instruments in between. Ludovico played in the center of the stage with his back to the audience and the accompanying band played facing the audience. Exciting performance, but my only complaint is Ludovico's solo performance, it's just him on a stage playing, there was no projection or anything else to look at. He is very talented and it was great to hear just him, but it also felt like it went on forever. You could feel the whole audience getting antsy, or maybe I was so I thought everyone else was too. When the band came back out they really went to town, lots of energy. Highly recommend seeing him if you get a chance. Absolutely beautiful venue, very old and tons of intricate molding to look at. I took BART in, and from the 19th and Oakland station it's about 500 feet. My favorite place to eat in the area is Belly, but it's closed on Sundays.

Still so enthralled by the way Ludovico Einaudi and his musicians weaved the magic into his music. Absolutely one of the best musical performances I have ever witnessed in my life. What a night to remember. Everything was so fluid, so organic, and they effortlessly told the stories through the sounds and melodies. Magical. It was pure magic. If you want to be blown away by the power of music, definitely check him out.

We've seen Ludovico with a small group of musicians, almost a full orchestra, and by himself. He never disappoints. The background images & lighting effects were awesome. And although I enjoy the Fox Theatre, I prefer the sound at The Paramount - it was AMAZING! Also impressed with the ushers and staff. Super helpful & friendly. Only complaint was that the bar closed mid-way through the show...even for water.

I fell in love with Ludovico's music when I was 14/15 years old and the love keeps growing. Wasn't sure how I was gonna like the Elements Album since it's so different from his past pieces but Wow! It was utter perfection (still has Ludovicos touch of heart and warmth). I don't know why I ever doubted him. Ludovicos music is transcending, it always has been and always will be. Sitting there listening to him perform truly stopped time. There aren't enough words to describe how perfect the evening was. I feel so blessed to have been able to attend.

I've been listening to Ludovico's music since I was in high school, and I finally had the privilege of listening to him live this weekend after 9 years. Honestly, it was an out-of-body experience. His music is amazing. There was a long slow piano solo in the middle, which was very gentle and soothing. Some people may have felt it was too long and slow, but he is a pianist after all, so... The rest of the music he played with the whole band, all very talented musicians by the way, and it felt like an instrumental rock concert. A very different experience and a very unique style. Loved it.

I suppose that someone , maybe even me, who was in the right mood might enjoy listening to Einaudi's music. But paying real money to listen to simple, repetitive sounds didn't move me at the concert. The music was basically just a series of simple riffs, generally repeated several times, covered by a layer of sound effects and loud bass guitar to make it sound impressive to an uncritical listener. I don't know if there was a single 16th note in the entire performance.
