Pretty good opening bands with a very awesome one night performance from Zebrahead with the crowd interacting with each other and the band interacting with the crowd.

There are two, maybe three bands for which I would strongly consider flying across the globe to see in concert. Zebrahead is one of them. Sometime last year they put out a new album, titled Phoenix, which bears the best mosh pit anthem I will probably ever hear my whole life. The song I'm referring to is properly named, "Hell Yeah". Fast but not frantic, energetic but not overbearing, "Hell Yeah" represents what I consider the Zebrahead Way of Rock. I could not properly describe the energy Zebrahead brings to the stage. Ali and Matty seem to make the perfect call and response/ rock and rap duo, but Matty and Greg also make a great guitar duo. Ben is a special guy, and a big fan of cooling down the crowd with water.....after it's been in his mouth for about 5seconds. Then of course, there's drummer Ed, the "Barack Obama" of the band, according to Ali. Hidden behind the kinetically-hyper Greg and frontmen Ali and Matty, Ed seems invisible; invisible but never to be ignored, as his rockin' beats are the cardiac rthyms giving life and energy to the band and the crowd. Like the opening band Orange, Matty and Greg demonstrate why power-chords come in handy. Sure, the melody may not be that complicated, but the whole point is to blend pure energy and power with awesome music. There's a time and a place for Jack O'Shea-like guitar virtuoso, but there's also a time for jamming out a chord and rocking your whole body to the music around you. Zebrahead's power-chord moments are the moments you'd find yourself three feet off the floor, jumping in sync with the other ninety people in the pit. Of course, Zebrahead isn't just a blend of rock and rap, and they're much more than masters of the power-chord. Greg is one of the best guitarists I've heard and had the privilege to watch. The boy has abundant, youthful energy, as clearly demonstrated by his inability to hold still for even two seconds. Then again, Zebrahead's new album has that affect on a lot of people, including myself. Greg has mad skill to match his energy: just listen to "Juggernaut", "HMP" and "Karma Flavored Whiskey". The guitar solos are inspiring and amazing. Greg is not only a pleasure to listen to, he's fun to watch. Referring to the way Greg runs in circles when he's not doing tuck jumps, a girl next to me in the pit said it best, "Just watching him makes me dizzy!" I don't have a complete set list, but as my memory serves me, here are the songs played: Zebrahead opened with "Hell Yeah" (and if they didn't I would have been SEVERELY disappointed), them played (not in order), "Mental Health", "The Juggernauts", "Back to Normal", "Postcards From Hell", "Anthem", "Death By Disco", "Ignite", "Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right, But Three Rights Make a Left", "Playmate of the Year", "Rescue Me", "Hello Tomorrow", (Avril's) Girlfriend, "All I Want for Christmas" and maybe two or three songs I can't remember. Honestly, it was a terrific show, but I didn't expect anything less than amazing from these guys. I think Zebrahead is ashtonishing; composed of a dedicated group of guys with abundant youthful energy, musical talent and affinity for high-energy songs. I love listening to their music, I love watching them perform, and, after having the opportunity to talk to them after the show, I know they are having a blast doing what they love. Zebrahead should be the staple of anyone's workout playlist, and anytime Zebrahead plays a show in the US, it's a "must-see". Great job Guys! Keep up the good work!

That show was absolutely amazing. It topped many concerts that I've seen before by far. The audience got so into it, and Zebrahead rocked the entire place. Not to mention they played ALL of their best songs! I cannot wait for them to come back to the US. This show was a night I will never forget!
