The program was great, but next year lets focus o "Gospel". I get it about Sounds of Blackness and the positive message, bu Gospel is about praising my God, and receiving the strength from him, not something I do by myself. I will say one thing they really know how to clear a room. I stayed out of respect, and wish more would have done the same. Next year is 30 years, so lets focus on Gospel, and there are so many great groups in the area that need to be appreciated, Amen

So much talent, so much love for the North side was on display at this benefit concert. I was so disappointed to see so many empty seats. It's hard to believe that this event was organized in just a few days.

An poorly attended, but incredible benefit event: Four hours of wonderful and/or solid volunteer performances by a large number of diverse and mostly professional musical groups (some famous) with connections to tornado stricken North Minneapolis. The time moved quickly; I was lucky to have a ticket.

This was a great event to support the residents of the north side who recently suffered the effects of the tornado. My wife and I know some of the individuals who were effected. To have the acts that performed for this benefit was well worth the money. My only regret was that more people did not support the event. May God Blesseveryone who helped bring this together, and especially Bless those on the north side for healing and holness.

It was good, It was long, but it was good. I liked the way the MC invited the balcony people to come down to the main floor and there was no issue made of it. It was meant to be a "community" get together and support and you made that possible for all involved.

This was an incredible evening -- from the amazing talent found in Minneapolis' Northside to Twin Cities-based national/international acts. It was a powerful and moving evening of eclectic, uplifting music and spoken word!
