This was an amazing show. The venue was perfect and we had a wonderful dinner prior to the concert. I would have loved about another half hour of him! And the bummer part was that he sold out of the new CD he brought so we were not able to get one.

This was a fantastic show. Mr. Lanz played a great mixture of holiday songs and some of my favorite original compositions. The other two musicians that played with him were great, too. The cello and different wind instruments added a nice touch.

What a great show! It was a beautiful mix of music. David played some of the season's classics : Oh Holy Night, What Child Is This, Silent Night- coupled with some of his older works and blended with songs from his last collection on CD: Liverpool. The "Liverpool Trio" would come up on and off to join him. Walter the cello player- not just any cello player- and Gary the flute player- but not just any flute player! We were also treated to some new pieces that haven't been recorded yet. Aside from the music, David is entertaining in his own right, speaking to the audience with a joy you can feel. His piano playing never ceases to amaze me!

I've been a fan of David Lanz for well over 20 years but his concert at Jazz Alley in Seattle was my first opportunity to see him in concert. His performance exceeded all expectations. I appreciated how personable he was as he spoke with the audience between each song. The background he provided helped us all to better appreciate each and every note. Thank you...thank you!!

I know artists continue to pursue new works. I am a lover of David's old work and was disappointed with his new efforts on variations of the Beatles. There have already been too many attempts at reworking the Beatles and no one has yet beat the original
