Mary Wilson, original Supreme, performed 10 Supremes hits plus some other well chosen and well delivered material looking beautiful and in fine voice. The Four Tops ,led by the only surviving original member,Duke Fakir, delivered a polished set of Four Tops classics and personal musical tributes to Levi Stubbs,Lawrence Payton and Obie Benson.A great nostalgic show delivered by two polished, professional, legendary acts. A wonderful gift for Motown fans.

Due to the poor acoustics at the Mystic Lake Casino auditorium, I would not recomend sitting in this area. The Four Tops and the Temps both put on a great show and it was wonderful to hear their old hits, but the sound was very distorted.

The Four Tops were outstanding and can still put on a great show. The temptations (my favorite group) were unbelievable! I've seen them three times now and this show was the best so far. As long as they keep coming back here I will be there. People are always shocked when I tell them that I love The Temptations because I'm 26 years old and I always respond with have you seen them perform and have you heard thier music! The music today really is horrible and I wish more people my age would give it a chance, they have no idea what they are missing. Keep on moving temps you guys are the best! You got to love real music, music that actually means something and tells a story.

The four tops came on first. They had a great sound with one original and three new members. The Temptations were next and were just as fabulous with one orighinal and four new members. It was a great show and a great night. It lasted a long time and was well worth the value of the ticket. I would see them again!

I'm an old skool fanatic and I loved the Four Tops and Temptations show. Each group did a wonderful job of stepping back in time and singing all their hits. I am really glad I saw this show.

We really enjoyed this show. Both groups sang a lot of their greatest hits. The show was about 3 hours long which was a surprise. I enjoyed the Four Tops the most. The Temptations sound system seemed off to me and was very loud. I had problems understanding what they were saying.

The Four Tops was loud. When anyone spoke, it was undiscernable. The 4 people next to us left. Singing was acceptable but not worth seeing again. Temptations were SIGNIFICANTLY better. Easier to understand when speaking. Much more fun to watch. Singing was great. Entertainment factor: recommended. There wasn't a weak performer in this group.

Good show, hard to hear and see at the sides....could add large screen and additional speakers on both sides so more people can see/hear better. Speakers were directional, so on the sides, very hard to hear.

They sang quite a few of the old favorites. The Biggest Problem was the SOUND SYSTEM!!!!!!! at times it was full of interference and words could not be heard clearly. Many people commented on it!!!

The Four Tops fill the crowd with energy, and have great vocals on songs we all know and love. Although the only original member is Duke the new "Tops" are totally into the same harmony and showmanship of the original group. Gotta love 'em!

The show started late and got over early. The performance only had maybe 2 good spots and the sound system was very bad. They have no showmanship and should probably stop giving shows

It was a great show but actually had a difficult time hearing the words to the music most of the night. Don't know if the accoustics in the auditorium cause that problem or the sound system but had that difficulty with both bands. Since I knew alot of the words, I could still enjoy the show but for those songs that i wasn't as familiar with, I was lost.

FANTASTIC! AWESOME! AMAZING TALENT! STILL GOT IT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! What a great show! Every one of these guys can sing like nobody's business. And the ballads? OMG! You could have heard a pin drop when they sang individual ballads. Gut wrenching, tender, made you cry! I absolutely LOVED the Four Tops!!

Horrible ... I've attended several Doo-Wop concerts and have never been so disappointed ... I know they really only had a couple of solid No 1s ... Sugar Pie..Bernadette..etc.. but their show was more white filler "I did it my way" ... and instrumentals by the orchestra ... give me a break ! .... Sound system was a diaster but has bad as they now sound that may have been a benefit .... by the time the concert was over, more than half of the crowd had walked out on them ... very sad .... very very sad for me after spending $104 for 2 tickets...

Four Tops in OC MD was a good show but could have been better. The backup band was tight and awesome, particularly the baritone sax guy who solo jammed near the end. The Four Tops themselves were good but the mixing on the microphones was substandard. I was in row R and the vocals were very muddy and distorted. When they were speaking between songs, you couldn't understand the words. Some of that may have been due to room acoustics but toning down the reverb and "dialing it in" after the first song or two could have lessened the problem. The opening act, the "Funsters", was tight, had a good sound, and got the crowd moving.

My husband and I loved the music and remembering the old teen club days. We of course knew the words to most of the songs, so we could sing along. The dissappointment was in the sound system. We were seated in Section 3, Row T, not bad seats.......BUT we could not understand a word they were saying. So I guess the bottomline is, it's good we knew the words!

Other than the usual fabulous performance by the Four Tops, the remainder of the show was a total mess. Most of the artists only performed one song and then they were hurriedly ushered off the stage by Mary Wilson who,for some strange reason, was the non-prepared host for the evening.

It was a shame Mary Wilson did not sing, but she did host a fast paced show with the original Vandellas, Contours, Freda Payne, Dramitics, Miracles, and of course the Honored Four Tops. Typical Motown show, fun good music. It Was at the Motor City Casino, Id rather it would of been at the Fox Theatre, but all in all, a fun night with Motown celebrating their 50 years of hits.

The Temptations and the Four Tops was a great show with some disappointments. I thought that the Temptations were more polished than the four tops. The Four Tops have a particular portion of the show where one of the singers sings a Luther Vandross song "Dance with My Father" dedicated to the young singer''s Father, but why would you put a Luther song in a Four Tops Review? Crazy to me, they should concentrate on singing Four Top songs, and some of the most popular Four Top songs they did not even touch. Maybe a review of song choice and a little more polish in overall choriographical movements and steps would enhance their showmanship.

Mary Wilson and the Four Tops are the types of shows that remind us of the great singer-songwriters, harmonies and just sheer talent that was abundant in the 1960s and 1970s. And to consider that those groups just cranked out hit after hit in short order is no less remarkable. Wilson's set was drenched with the Supremes' hits -- as well it should. But I kept hoping for more prolonged songs that would take off and showcase her vocal talent, still strong and vibrant into her 70s. I think a few songs that were allowed to breathe more, with more dynamics (solos and interplay) between her and the band, would have given the performance more character and vitality instead of simply playing off the stand. That was the only drawback ... Mary did her best to connect with the audience (which she did well), but I didn't feel the connection to the band. For the most part, the band lacked vitality and came across as "just another job." The same can be said of the Tops' set ... breaking out the well-chosen nuggets of their songbook returned everyone to their youth when those tunes were on every AM station in the United States. And the personal tributes were the highlight of this set with the heartfelt remembrance of the three former Tops. Yet again ... there was little sparkle from the band ... and that's so essential. As a music consumer, I want the performer and the band to go beyond playing notes on a page. I want them to show me synergy with the performer. Don't get me wrong, the scores are great ... but there was something missing. That "something" finally appeared when the ladies were invited on stage for a few tunes with Mary. There was sheer and utter joy that was shared by all. I smiled the whole time and didn't want that feeling to end. THAT was entertaining in the best sense. And that is why this was a must-see event in my opinion ... Yet, it could have been better.

This was a high energy, high voltage concert--a Motown dance party and an evening of sheer Motown magic! What a joy to have the opportunity to see living legends in concert together! Mary Wilson is a national treasure and one of the music world's best kept secrets. At age 70, she is better than ever--elegance, glitter and talent personified. She was drop dead gorgeous in a sleek, form-fitting lavender sequined gown. Her life's experiences give each song she sings--even those early Supremes hits--new meaning and depth. She nailed it. Even with 3 new members, The Four Tops still have it. Sole original surviving member Duke Fakir has lost none of his verve or passion at age 78. These guys dazzled the audience. Two hours of non-stop Motown hits from 2 of the originals...it doesn't get much better!

As a professional musician, I know every musician on the stage was incredible but the sound man was incompetent! He ruined the show. You could not hear the horn section. For the first 1/2 hour the keyboard could not be heard. The bass was boomy and the guitar was too loud. The conga player might as well not have been there through the entire show. Again, the musicians were great! the 4 tops were fabulous and the drummer was a monster but my wife dragged me out of the room before I went over and chided the deaf soundman for ruining the evening.

What an amazing show! I love the stroll down memory lane with both groups. But the Temptations brought evryone to their feet and had them singing and dancing to every tune! What a great party. Found Handy Cap parking inadequate for the theatre, ended up having the wife drop me off and go find parking. While I waited, no place to sit down in theatre downstairs lounge. People at the door helpful by letting me in around the side door to get easier access to my seat. Although the concert was very good even in spite of one top missing, I thought one hour was a tad short for the money I paid. One pet peeve of mine is when you say the concert is at 8PM then start the concert at 8 PM not at 8:15 etc....

The Four Tops were wonderful. Lots of old favorites and we were not blasted out of our seats with loudness. The Tempataions put on quite a show with their dance routines, but the music was way too loud for my wife. She sat thru their show with her ears covered. Also, it was hard to understand what they were singing. Your theatre is great with all the seating good.
