Mr. Big

I travelled from the UK to see this tribute to Pat Torpey and it was worth every penny. First of all we were treated to a set from the Richie Kotzen band - he played his ass off. Then a full Mr Big set. Followed by special guests including the Knack, Neil Giraldo, Dave Amato, Myron Grombacher etc. Kotzen rejoined Mr Big for a few songs that he composed when he was with them but...... The highlight was Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheehan, Greg Bisonette and Jeff Scott Soto playing early Van Halen. They did And The Cradle Will Rock followed by Women In Love - just awesome. To wrap it up they played To Be With You with all the guests - great venue, great bands, great music (beer was a bit pricy but I didn't mind :) )
