Pointer Sisters

The Pointer Sisters now consist of one original member, Ruth, and the "younger generation" of Issa and Sadako. These young girls sound just like the original sisters of the 1980's. You couldn't tell them apart if you tried. I enjoyed this show very much. They played every hit that the original Pointer Sisters made famous. All of the songs were well done and the sound system was terrific. I thought their version of "Slow Hand" was my favorite of the night. Highly recommended show.

This was a class act. Truly professional. They started on time. They were well rehearsed. They did one song after another until their break. During their break, their 5 piece band gave a great show. When the "sisters" came back on they continued with high energy, a sense of fun, and a solid connection with the audience. After a strenuous workout, they still gave an encore!

The Pointer Sisters show was just wonderful. They still have a great sound and interact well with the crowd. Their band is awesome. Can't say enough about what a truly fun show it was!!!

One of the biggest surprises! Expected "Good" and got "Phenominal"! First half of show was great and did not expect second part to excell! Would see the exact show over again...it was that great!

The Pointer Sisters performance was awesome!!! They did a great job with their show. All the songs they sang were hit after hit. Their songs took us to a journey back in time and we loved it!!! The audience was very engaged in the show. Me and my best friend will be looking for their return to the Hard Rock. We will definitely recommend it to all to come see their show.

I really enjoyed the show.....it was really great. However,I am not sure why we (the audience) were not able to take pics. Was this at the request of the performers??? Or is this a routine for the casino. The seats we had were great and the show was awesome. Outside of the picture issue, everything was great. But... I really wanted to get some pics of the performers.

The songs were muffled could not understand the words, the background music over powered the singers. The Pointer Siste an and family were good but could not makeout any of the words they sang. The Temptaions scream now- no longer the soft vocals of the past.

The Pointer Sisters opened w/ their band playing w/ the sisters singing in the wings..........It set the stage for an entertaining and enlightening a bit of musical family revelations . The Sisters are now reduced to one original, Ruth. But she was in fine form w/ her gospel rooted vocals and slim figure. She paid tribute to her sisters, Anita, who is ill and June, who passed away and gave some history of the group. Surprisingly, after a run thru several; of the groups hits, she shared some of the pedigree of this current group. The lead singer is now her daughter, and the third member is her GRANDDAUGHTER!!!!!!!! They performed VERY well together and did not step on each others toes. As they ran thru their hits and paid homage to their mentors, they were lively and very entertaining with their opening act..................Great to see Leon Pendarvis as the Musical Director.....................many of us in the audiance were on our feet and ....Jumpin' for The Love.....of their music/songs!!!!!!!!!!!! The Temptation were their usual class act.............They ran thru their hit and Ron Tyson has emerged as their lead vocalist . He seemed to dominate the show. His command of first and second tenor as well as falsetto was truly a treat. \\Their usual steps are now not as smooth as they once were, but, hey, neither are any of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......smile.................. Otis Williams gave a nice tribute to past Temptations and even sang a lead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................A true rarity!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was great to hear them sing such great harmonies and many of their hits.........They stayed onstage for 75 mins. but they shared w/ us many moments of their lives/careers and ours............... A show well worth the money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......Yes, it was a sellout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........ We truly enjoyed ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic show with incredible energy! I could have listened to these 2 groups for another show

Exciting night for the 4 of us 60+ adults. A walk down memory lane, with favorite memories from many of the songs!

Need a better sound mixer. Evevt should have been titled... Pointer Sister and the Last Temptation...

Pointer Sisters and The Temptations were really exciting, interactive , and performed very enthusiastic show. Both groups performed all their hits as well as other songs . Even though there was only one original member in each group their performance was amazing

I now understand why 3rd rate shows are at Casinos. There is no way they could get a booking anywhere else. The Pointer Sisters (actually 3 generations) performed well and can actually sing. The Temptations can't sing--apart from the 'sexy big guy'. And why sing a Supremes hit? The lead vocal on that can barely sing anything let alone go toe to toe with Diana Ross. Very disappointing.

I took my mother in law to this concert for an early mothers day gift. The Pointer Sisters are her favorite group ever. I wasn't that excited about going but once the concert started it was a lot of fun. You can tell they still enjoy putting on a show and they had me dancing to songs I hadn't heard since I was a child. If you get a chance go see The Pointer Sisters.

The beginning to the end was excellent performance.

The entire show was flawless, and VERY high energy!! The Pointer Sisters (and Granddaughter) looked and sounded amazing. They are just as energetic as when their hit songs were made. The love of music, dancing and performing to a live audience was reflected by the entire band.

The Pointer Sisters still have it after all the years they have been performing. Any opportunity I have to go see them I will be there. Great show and they still sound the same which is great!!!!!

Loved their songs in the 80's! Cant believe they sound and look so great after all these years. Would love to see a combo of Earth,Wind, & Fire & The Pointers. What a wonderful place to watch a performance. Cain Park needs to get more 70's and 80's acts like this. I know it would be packed. Couldnt have asked for a better performance by 3 very engaging women. They gave 110% for all.

With 2 of the original sisters and a granddaughter, the Pointers belted out a terrific concert with high energy, joy, and rhythm. I had a smile on my face from the first notes. I loved the songs I remember best - Slow Hands, I'm So Excited, Jump, He's So Shy, and more. They get a solid 10 from me!

Ruth, Anita and her granddaughter Sydako (?spelling) were fantastic! Such beautiful ladies with high energy! Loved hearing their hit songs of the past. They returned for an encore performance which lasted for 20+ minutes - what class! Took the time to shake hands with fans in front rows. Also, this was a very afforadable show.

Fabulous, high energy show. Of course most of the crowd was older but the Sisters have remained young all these years. I have been a fan since early 70's & they just keep getting better!!!

Great band, great energy... The show was a bit too short!

The Pointer Sisters concert was called for 7:00 p.m. and actually began after 7:10. They sang and danced and we liked what they did. But the concert was over at 8:15- including time offstage for a costume change. I was in shock that it was over and was convinced that they were just taking a break and would continue after the intermission. But then the houselights came up and the audience departed. It took me longer to drive to the venue , park, and walk to my seats then the length of the concert. I felt very ripped off!

The Pointer Sisters concert at Bally's, Atlantic City, was spectacular! Ruth and Anita (the original Sisters) can still deliver every note and they are looking great! Ruth's granddaughter, Sadako, was the third Pointer, filling in for Issa, Ruth's daughter, who had just had a baby in August. It is so great to have such a talented family to keep the group fresh as ever! The audience was literally dancing in the aisles and by the end of the show, just about everyone was on their feet!
