Nipsey Hussle

Great concert from an extremely humble artist. Nip put on a great show, and his team/staff were right there making sure the experience was great for all of the fans that came out to support. He performed most of his debut album Victory Lap, with a few of your favorite mixtape songs sprinkled in there as well. The live band and background visuals were nice touches as well. SIP Fatts

This is the first hip/hop or rap concert I ve been to and the artist had a LIVE BAND! This made the music that much better(audible). Keep it up Nip, you brought a piece of home to the East for me and it was awesome!

The experience at the Filmore for the Nipsey Hussle concert was freaking Awesome! From the box office to security made me want to come back again and again to this venue. Nipsey Hussle's performance was 1 of the best!

I feel that the main set of the night should be extended and not so much focus on promoting underground rappers. I appreciate seeing new artist, but the ticket I purchased stated "Nipsey Hussle," I feel his set was very short and not worth $45 if I'm only going to see him perform for 30 minutes.

Nipsey rocked the crowd...Could've lasted a bit longer for the ticket price but still enjoyed it.

Nipsey Hussle put on a great show. He just moved from song to song keeping the show moving. I wish he had more time on stage.

Nipsey Husle is 1 of 1 and his show was epic. He performed ALL of my favorite joints! I could feel his energy all across the room.

I'm a fan of nipsey so I enjoyed his performance but the opening acts was less than desireable. With that being said I was happy that there wasn't any fights etc.

First things first, the doors to the event were suppose to Open at 10:30pm. The Howard Theatre didn't start letting people in until about 11:20. Because of this there was a big gaggle at the door and a long line behind the gaggle. People were pushing and getting aggravated with one another and the event organizers because it was extremely cold outside. They were also having an issue with tickets and people without tickets trying to push through the door in hopes of attending a free show. This event was highly unorganized. Once inside, things got a little better. The restlessness of the crowd cooled down as people began to warm up and get back into the spirit of having fun and enjoying the music. People began ordering liquors and enjoying the opening act. Unfortunately, we would have to go through 4 small acts from local artist and some not local artist. This would ultimately test the crowds patience. As there were times when the crowd would boo and scream obscenities at the announcement of another small act or during the artists performance. One New York rapper (I can't remember his name) got so frustrated because the crowd wasn't feeling him mostly because they were getting restless. He kicked a phone out of one of the front row concert goers hand and then repeatedly called him obscenities. Highly unprofessional and childish especially for an artist that is trying to create a following. I personally hope he gets kicked off the tour, besides his music did suck. Okay, so now the time is 1:30am and the Nipsey set is due to begin. The crowd energy picks back up after being drained by the small acts nobody knew the music of. Finally the curtain rises and Nipsey Hussle himself hits the stages. The crowd is excited to finally see him. He comes out with lots of energy. I think he was excited by the turnout in the venue even saying this is the largest crowd he has had so far on his Crenshaw tour away from his hometown. He performs about 2 songs and then he starts taking request. Unfortunately he would not perform his biggest record to his Dc fan base H Town in my cup. The majority audience was practically begging for that record. He never performed it. How do you not perform your hottest record? Long story short his set list was weak because it didn't flow. Then after about 40 minutes of performing he says good night and walks off the stage. Leaving the crowd confused and slightly disappointed. The crowd wasn't even cheering for an encore they were more so just standing quietly hoping that want it. Fortunately Nipsey comes back out and performs again to the crowds delight unfortunately it was only to perform one more song and then he would leave again saying good night Dc. This time the house lights would come on. There was no big roar of cheers from the crowd the show actually ended on a low as people walked out disappointed including myself. Nipsey Needs to put a stronger set list together and perform the records that are strong in the streets. Show a little love at the end of your show. Don't just walk off and leave people hanging. I mean Jay Z still adreesses the crowd before he leaves. I like Nipsey a lot, but his Crenshaw Tour leaves a lot to be desired.

Promoters or Venue Security had us standing in line outside in the cold too damn long! But in the end I got to see Nipsey perform and he put on a great show. I have a feeling it could of been longer if the local opening acts didn't get to perform 4 songs. 2 songs max for local acts period! Those dudes had mini concerts. All in all Nipsey is who I came to see and he put on a great high energy show. Sold Out!

Why were there 5 opening acts? The crowd was getting tired of waiting for Nipsey to come out, his set started a little late and then after the event he didn't even stay for the meet and greet that I paid $100 for.

Too many opening acts that I could have cared less to hear, but Nipsey put on one hell of a show. Energy was on 100 and even took request from the crowd. Well worth the wait. Would definitely see in concert again.

The show was amazing! Nipsey, DomK, YG, Casey Veggies... What more could you ask?! Nipsey was the best. He spread the stage and preformed tons of songs. YG was very involved in the crowd and had people on stage and everything. The only sucky part was when they through out the bag they started a fight. But the ending when Drake came out and preformed the motto!!!!! I still hate life because my phone died and I couldnt take a picture. Overall it was amazing.

Im a huge Nipsey Hussle fan but his show at Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana was way to SHORT. He came on saying he was gona play all his good shit and then only played like 7 songs, he came on at 11 and was off at 11:30.

Went to see Nip at the Howard theatre DC. He had it sold out. Place was packed, high energy, positive energy, no fighting or nothin. Me and my boys made it down to the front row by the last song (1 of 1) Nip crowd surfed right by me knocking my phone out my hand and my boy standing to my left caught em. After the concert we saw him coming off his bus and he shouted us out.

Couldn't get enough. Makes you anticipate his next tour date. Definitely going again wherever he performs.

The venue was amazing, but waited forever for concert to start and when it did...it felt like he only performed for one hour. I've been to A LOT of concerts and this one was the shortest one of all.

Nipsey Hussle is a great performer. The crowd was the most pleasant I have ever experienced. Great vibes all around.

House of Blues is a really cool venue! Drinks were expensive, but strong! Great sound quality. Nipsey was almost two hours late which I thought was very disrespectful to his fans. Once he came on stage, the performance was great! I don t know that I d spend my money on another one of his shows simply because I found him being that late unacceptable, but I m still a fan!

Nipsey Hussle did a great job, but he was three hours late. The tour seemed really unorganized and behind schedule.

My partner and I did the general admissions ticket and the VIP upgrade package. We got a spot by the front of the stage. Complete show was amazing. Nip is a phenomenal artist and amazing performer. Best concert I ve been to in a while. Nip was humble and kind at the meet and greet, mad love for him and his crew awesome show.

The Venue was really nice and had plenty of space and multiple bars open!.. great service

It was fun generally speaking but waiting two hours in a venue with no seating just to see him perform 35 minutes was trash. I would recommend if here s nothing else to do.

Nipsey didn t come on stage until 10pm. The concert started at 7pm. There was no opener, so I sat there for 3 hours listening to the venue s radio. Nipsey didn t even play Grinding All My Life... he has a video for that song. I ve been listening to Nip since 2009. He is probably my 2nd favorite rapper. This is my first time seeing him in concert and I wasn t feeling it.

Neighborhood Nip never disappoints. I visited a show of his in California and witness the greatness. He's just getting started. The only thing that was disappointing was the microphone levels which is the event holders fault.

Music was more crisp than an R&B concert; Nipsey nor the band were not fighting to overpay each other

Nipsey Hussle was extremely late to the stage and only performed for about 45 minutes. There were no opening acts. Literally waiting for almost 3hours with no performance on stage.

It was like a movie ,From the time he walked on stage until the moment he walked off the stage the energy was MAXED OUT . Don t know if anyone else peeped it but they had a drink called the TIPSEY HUSSLE ,which had me on my level. I like the way he let Jstone and Cobby Supreme hit the stage,wish they did more songs but it was a good look. They venue wasn t real big but I like the size because it was like a more up close and personal experience which made it 10 times better because I feel like he was able to really connect with the fans, feel and see the love and support from us..The overall experience o give it 5 Stars ... can t wait until they fall back through.. 2 hours late with no opening act. Then he only performed for 1 hour. Unacceptable.

The atmosphere was amazing all the people were great . VIP was super chill just wish he would of played ONLy things from the Victory Lap Tour .

I bought these tix for my husband as a Father s Day gift. He loved the venue and enjoyed his time there. The only complaint he had was how long it took for Nipsey to take stage and that when he go up there, he did not perform for that long. He still enjoyed himself very much and for the ticket price, we d definitely do it again!

Show started at 8:00 pm but Nipsey didn t show until 10:38. I loved the intimate venue but not when the air is being filled with Reggie and cigarette smoke. I have no doubt if the show started as expected, it would have been amazing but...

This start time for this event was 8pm, so I arrived early to have a good standing location. Nevertheless, at 10:30-10:45 there was still no shoe. After 3 1/2, I left because there was limited communication with the crowd as to why there was such a significant delay.

The show was lit, everything was on point. Yhe band was great.

The Nipsey show was live.. her had the entire Buckhead there reciting every verse! If he s you area , City etc don t miss him

Nipsey came out with tons of energy.. live band and stage presence, but the sound in the venue was horrible and did a big disservice to his show. It got to the point where I couldn t hear the lyrics which took the enjoyment out of the show. Next time play at the Tabernacle.

Nipsey's concert was a lot more laid back & classy than I had expected. It was an LA vibe that we dont see that often on the East Coast. He had a live band that slowed down the beats a bit. The crowd was mostly men in their late 20s/ early 30s and some couples. Everyone was chill & it felt like a humble celebration. Nipsey was a great performer and kept the crowd in a good mood.

He killed it with a live band, very interactive. Downright unforgettable I can t wait until the next one.

From giving out inspiring words in between songs to including a live band to match his motivational energy; this show was definitely unforgettable! I went to the Victory Lap concert. A concert for the Victory Lap album. An album that has 16 tracks. I am a Nipsey Hussle fan. Nip did 7 out of 16 songs and 4 songs off of previous albums and walked off stage. (Total of 11 songs) Then to add insult to injury when I went to buy OFFICIAL MARATHON gear (and anybody that knows knows that Nip says if the tag don't say TMC its a knockoff) and the tags said Gildan!! I haven't been able to play Nip's music in the car since Tuesday.

Drove 3 hours to the show and he only performed for 49 minutes.

Always loved Nip. Real dude who makes good music. Had high energy the entire time and performed with a live band.

I experienced my first West Coast concert last nite It was the First annual west coast festival featuring Nipsey Hussle and a slew of west coast rappers including Mack 10, Warren G, Luniz, East. Side Boyz, Mozzy and Outlawz...plus more. This concert let me know that There were clues I was too far from home...aside from the fact that it was an hour away from our downtown hotel. For starters it was a sold out clam bake It was a Fog Storm, a thick down comforter, a marshmallow toast, an unbelievable amount of that GOOD energy. The rappers had five hundred thirty eleven people on the stage The vibe was smoked out, super laid back but with high doses of spurt/energy.... if there was ever such a thing. Straight outta Compton movie experience 90% of the audience had on the color red I convinced myself those clothing items were on sale in just that color... Until I seen a guy crip walking....but then I reduced it to some new dance...but Nope ...he was really crip walking. There were a least three unidentifiable incidents taking place in pockets of the arena which had both police and security running to each area...the fact that no one reacted was a little bit concerning. I was like The girl in the seat in front of me stood 99% of the concert blocking my view...she put me in the mind of a Spanish Cleo "Set it Off" Just a feminine version..kinda Anyway I would have tapped her and asked her to sit down but I thought to myself "Who am I to ruin her experience"....this..after I counted her tattoos seen she had on red sneakers and I suddenly became secure in my decision to not ask her to sit down She rapped all the lyrics to each artist that came out. I'm glad she had a good time The term vato quickly came to mind each time I seen a male Hispanic with a blue button up top and black shades. Absolutely reminded me of the movie "Training Day" Another clue out of the many above that let me know I'm outta my element was the fact that 99% of the women both young and old had on sneakers... I mean we were casual toooo but Clearly not about THAT life. Overall, This was Thee most fun, laid back, energetic, musically violent, concert I've ever been too. The DJ was ridiculous with the music Had everyone on their feet in between sets. The sudden urge to yell out East coast quickly diminished each time the host would yell out "where everyone from" I realized this was personal for them....they could care less about anything outside the west coast as evident when they yelled it throughout the concert. WESTSIDE!

I feel like there are no words that can truely describe how amazing the Victory Lap concert was!! Bout to be at ALL of Nipsey Hussle's LA concert now. He puts out!!!
