Excellent concert! She sang beautifully, as always. The stage was beautiful with an elegant show of lights and art work by Brazilian artists. Unforgettable!

First she started only 30minutes late(i've been to concerts where it started 1.5-2hrs late). The sound was perfect, her voice crystal clear, the visual art went with the music she played. I've only heard select songs of her before the concert but my cousin knows her work very well, I'm glad I went and would go again!

We had a blast at her Concert!!! It was the BEST concert ! her performance was great full of visuals good music and good times.Show was amazing!!! Marisa Monte sang all her hit songs! I loved when she sang "VELHA INFANCIA"

The theater was packed, she created the perfect balance between talking, explaining the story behind some of her songs with a variety of her new and older songs. The production surprised me and the lighting, especially, was beautifully done. Her stage presence was engaging, she sang beautifully as always, and overall it was a beautiful NYC night with a Brazilian great!

The concert is beautiful! Amazing track list. She perfectly mixed songs from her new album with classics, and takes the audience on a beautiful journey where she talks about love and other good things in a way that she masters at!

Marisa fine singing combined with the brazilian modern art especial effects blew the audience away. We could just tell that every single detail was carefully thought about by the whole crew. Marisa is the kind of artist that does not disappoint. Wish I could watch it again the next day. Priceless kind of concert.

I was expecting a great concert but Marisa Monte gave us much more that a great concert, she was extremely perfect on stage. An amazing selection of her best musics. A beautiful and smooth voice. Amazing musicians. Everything was completely perfect. Thank you Marisa for giving us the best of you!

One of my favorite artists for twenty-something years, and I finally got a chance to see her live. Great production, simple yet beautiful like Marisa. At the end of the Wednesday night performance, a lot of people were saying they wanted to go back for the Friday night concert.

Marisa Monte is the Queen of MPB music in Brazil. Her show was brilliant, soft and true to our beautiful Brazilian Culture. I was very proud to be at the theater surrounded by her talent. I really recommend this to everyone who loves music.

First of all I loved the theatre. I was amazed looking at every single detail from Beacon Theatre in NYC. I was my first time there , so beautiful. The concert was great, her voice is the same as i hear in the record ..I mean..is no difference ! I loved it because ..she's a real singer . I can see and feel emotions while she's singing . She's also very relaxed on the stage, she sings, she speaks to the public..she shares her feelings with ' us ' . That's amazing. I never hear , yet, her last album I have her old albums and I was singing every song. I was very happy..because it was my first MM's concert ...I been waiting for years for that moment and it was in NYC. I felt so special being there ...watching to her concert. I want more ! I love the lights effects, I felt inside a dream !

I loved to see Marisa Monte in concert. The Beacon Theater is well located, and very comfortable, with optimal view to the stage even from the balcony . Marisa Monte had a great set design, nice images complementing her beautiful songs. Great combination of acoustic and electronic sounds for a spotless presentation. The voice of a great singer filled the night with beautiful notes and touching lyrics.It was very kind from her to mention the credits of her team. She introduced the musicians in three different moments, from those who have been for a longer time with her until the most recently invited to join her. She also mentioned (actually read a short list) the set decorators.

She is a great composer and singer! Higly recommended!

A gorgeous production, it was my first live viewing of Marisa and she proved herself tfully. She was demure, yet clearly in command of her craft. Both her beautiful voice and her great range of artistry were on display. She played the electric guitar, the acoustic guitar and the ukulele. Even her cover of ECT by Cassia Eller was stunning and rocked the house!

First time seeing her after being familiar with her music for years. I love the venue, the Beacon Theatre is perhaps my favorite place to see shows. The perfect size, great acoustics, and great ambience. The interior is ornate and beautiful. As for the show, it now ranks in my top ten. Her voice is wonderful. The band she had accompanying her was equally impressive. Don't recall the name of the band who sat in, but they worked well with the long term members of her ensemble. Visually stunning, the videos displayed and the light show were fantastic. One in particular, where in a silhouette her dress was illuminated by what would best be described as stars. Her shadow and some of the stars that bled to the black back screen was visually stunning. Perhaps the best song, from her most recent release, "Ainda bem", was the highlight. The back story of her requesting Mina, the Italian singer, to do back up was a nice way to connect with her audience. Also of note was the actor Rodrigo Santoro sitting behind me. I was impressed with how accommodating he was to the many people (women...) who approached him for a photo op. He was cordial and pleasant with each and every one. Gente Boa.. Amazing! Whether one speaks Portuguese or not (and I don't), it was a beautiful concert for ones ears and even eyes. Marisa projected Brazilian art work onto the entire stage with 4 huge mirror panels additing to the effect. The visuals complemented the music, while also drawing the audience onto the stage and making us a part of the show. The music was smooth, silky, and full. In addition to Marisa's guitar, she had 3 more guitar players, 3 violinist, 1 cellist, 1 drummer and 1 keyboardist.

Beautiful production, amazing voice ! The best of Brazilian music.

Marisa Monte is a superb artist. I have followed her since the early 90s and I am always more amazed by her creativity, her pristine voice and candid personality! We both loved the concert and were craving for more. Please bring her back very very soon (Washington DC too)

I thought she would stick to the new releases, but she really mixed it up very well. From old time classics to her newest songs, you can't help but love the entire show.

Not doubt you should pay no matter what to see her concert. She is an amazing singer with a sweetie stage presence and charisma.

I purchased a ticket on impluse and it was a magical concert! Never listened to her music before and being adventurous paid off. Her voice is outstanding and her music inspiring a true artist,no choreography or smoke and mirrors needed , pure talent.

One of the best shows of my life...just had to get tickets to see her for the 2nd show as well- after seeing the 1st night's...have been to over 200 concerts but have never had such an incredible after-feel of awe as with both of these.

She is poetic, sensitve, intelligent, writes great melodies and sings clearly and on key. She always takes me to a new place in her music, just lovely...

Fun fun fun. The only thing that would have helped me enjoy the show more would be a better grasp of the language. Otherwise 5 stars. But that's me

Marisa was very boring and put very little effort into any of her song's. She seemed bored and very distant. That was the last show for me.

Marisa Monte was a dream come true to me! Having high expectations, I came to the concert expecting a great performance already. I was not disappointed! She out did everything I imagined and surpassed my expectations!!! The two hours of concert felt like 2 minutes. At the end of the concert we stood and clapped for several minutes since no one wanted the concert to end! Marisa came back and sang 2 other songs! I highly, highly recommend her concert. It was definitely, hands down, one of my very favorite concerts!!!!!
