Would strongly recommend this show. So many talented artist at one time! Even better they were performing for a good cause.

Enjoyed the guests guitarist especially Billy Burnette and Jimmy Vaughan. Could have given Paul Shaffer more recognition. I hoped that Pricilla Presley would announce her donation to the James Burton Foundation. Security seemed good. The Municipal is in good shape.

The James Burton Festival Concert is what I consider to have been a chance in a lifetime! We didn't want the night to end and we hope there will be more JB Festivals in the future.. We will be there for sure!! And the Municiple Auditorium is a wonderful venue. The sound was great and there is not a bad seat in the house!

The performers were amazing. From Cole Vosberry to Vince Gill and everyone in between, the acts were spot on. The Municipal Auditorium may have been constructed in the 1920s, but it still is a fantastic venue for live music. If you want to enjoy a great show in a historic location outside of Nashiville, there is no finer locaiton!

Music and performers didn't disappoint. Really enjoyed all of them, but wish the show had been tighter and shorter- 4.5 hrs was too long for me, given the poor but expensive floor seating and the heat.

How he is able to pull off all the different talents to get them bundled up in one show is a big feat all in itself. It was a great show one talented guitar player after another, I had a great time. This was my first time wasn't sure what to expect but left there amazed at some of the talents there especially some of the guys I had never heard of or didn't think I had heard of until I heard them play. Can't wait for the next one to go again. Great players getting together all for a great cause.

The James Burton guitar festival was an extravanganza of world class musicians non stop for 5 hours! The caliber of the artists cannot be compared! EVERYONE who performed did an amazing job! The respect of the musicians for each other and the audience came through loud and clear. The musician who performed Jerry Lee Lewis' work could not have performed any better. Will I attend again? Yes. Will I bring others with me? Yes...already planned for next year. Will I tell everyone I can about the concert? Absolutely yes! Everyone needs to know about it!

What an awesome venue; the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium; wonderful history made by so many talented entertainers...so many have stood on that stage and shared their talents over the years...the line up of talent this year exhibited such diverse styles; they all complimented one another so well. This was my first visit to the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium; I have only one recommendation, and that is to fix the sound system...the accoustics did not have clarity throughout the upper balconies...If this could be fixed, I would be glad to bring my family again next year. Great talent supports youth in their endeavour of the arts; this is always a good cause. V/R, JBMonte

The James Burton International Guitar Festival was absolutely wonderful!! I really enjoyed all of the artist, especially Vince Gill! So many talented people at one event was a first for me! The only bad part at the concert was the balcony seat. I won't do that again! I only wish I could have taken pictures of the artist up close! All in all, I was so impressed with the concert and the artist. Debby

What a great show. So many great musicians all on one stage. It was kind of dissapointing that each artist only got 2 or 3 songs, but the show still lasted 4-1/2 hours. Vince Gill was amazing. And I had never seen a bass player like Rocker.

Best concert of my life. Great guitarist and memories. Never a dull moment with loads of laughs. Rob Haynes stole the show with his Jerry Lee Lewis show!

The venue was very nice and much updated since the last time I had been there many years ago. The acoustics were surprisingly good and the air conditioning surprisingly cool. I plan on going back next year and hope the interesting mix of musicians is even better than it was this year.

Vince Gil, Tracy Adkin, James Burton and more! Priscilla Presley showed up and offered a tribute to James Burton as it was a celebration for him. The show was fantastic; I would attend a similar concert if available. It was nice to be able to go back to the Municipal Auditorium where I used to go to concerts in the past. The building was gorgeous. I had a great time and give the entire experience five stars.

WOW, will never miss another one. 4 hr of non stop awesomeness. And the on screen photography work was superb, not your normal concert shots. James Burton was awesome. While other guitarist are straining to play hot licks, James, simply moves, he has it!!!!

Entire concert was great! My only complaint was the acoustics in the auditorium. It was difficult to understand the words from the performers and the songs. However, I will go again. Congratulations to James Burton and happy birthday.

The "festival" left a little to be desired, the concert was amazing, one of the best I have ever attended. Another plus was the Shreveport/Boosier City area. People were friendly and service at stores and restruants was great. Will attend next year!!!!!

I have been to hundreds of live performances from Hendrix to Andy Williams to Led Zeppelin to Diana Ross. The James Burtonconcert was one of the highlights of my 45 years attending live music events! The show was well paced and provided highlight after highlight. Seeing James Burton backing Gunnar Nelson on the classic Rick Nelson set was beyond awesome. The guitar solo on Fools Rush In has alwaysbeen one of my ffavorites and to see it performed live was a special moment for me.

Great show! Enjoyed every minute of it. Sound was great. Moved right along.

It was truly an evening of amazing talent! I couldn't believe that there were such world renowned musicians in Shreveport and in one venue. It was a wonderful evening of clean, uplifting entertainment and a great blast from the past! I commend James Burton and his wife for the wonderful work they are doing. Music is so important to the soul!

What an incredibly talented group of musicians assembled to honor James Burton for his 75th birthday and help his foundation of donating guitars to kids. Such amazing talent on guitars, piano and even the upright bass! Fantastic 4.5 hour show!!

As a lifelong concert goer, it would be hard to name the best concert I've ever been to, but this may have been it! It wasn't flashy, and sometimes it wasn't even smooth with frequent minor tech problems. BUT it was like sitting in the studio with 35 or 40 of the best musicians from the past 50 years while they laughed, played their favorites and just jammed. Country, rock, Christian, classical, it was ALL there to perfection. Of course, just getting to hear James Burton one more time was a highlight.

This is the second James Burton Guitar Festival we have attended and we weren't disappointed. This event was jam packed with close to 20 acts and went on for nearly five hours. Normally I would have trouble sitting still that long but the music was so good and where else can you see this many talented acts on one stage in Shreveport?! I look forward to his next event...maybe at the unveiling of the new Guitar museum? We were in the upper seating in section 213. The only thing that was a negative was the sound up there was a little muffled when people were speaking onstage. The music came through with no problem, but when the performers spoke from the mike it was hard to hear what they were saying. Also, the hologram was not distinguishable from that angle. We knew it was a hologram of Elvis, but you could not see the projected image from that location.
