Clarence Clemons

At 69 the BIG MAN continues to rock !! Front row with my friend Randi, we had an awesome time!! Can't wait for the next time. Paradise Live is a great venue, intimate and you can really get "up close and personal" Keep on rockin Hard Rock....

I found this event by chance on ticketmaster in Germany and we changed our vacation travel plans to see the show and it was all worth it. The Nakeds - in Germany not well known - what a pity- were great.I like that trumpet and saxophon sound very much - and Clarence was just amazing. I loved the energy he showed on stage after all the surgery he went thru and it was great to hear his voice. This small club gets you very close to a "legend" you normally see from miles away in a Springsteen concert. You felt that everbody in the room was happy to see Clarence again - hoping for news for a tour. After the concert he came out again for photos and autographs and talked to the folks standing around - until his nurse finished the evening. It was like nice 'little family reunion'

nice because Clemons' birthday so a celebrating event - guess I was "living in the past" & didn't realize he was 69- full of aches & pains- didn't play sax as much as thought he would - really went with my sons, both musicians to see him (one son plays sax) - but band was good - venue very nice - entire event would have been a positive memory if hadn't had a middle aged couple in front of us who thought they were teenaged lovers - humping, grinding all night - fortunately, one of the ushers kindly escorted them out to cool off. but they resumed position when returned - guess I'll think twice about going to an "old" band in a small setting. My son said, "i wouldn't pay to see Clemons play again, but I would like to meet him and talk about music".

Clarence and the gang put on an incredible show at Paradise Live, a small venue. The preshow chit-chat and the happy birthday cake and festivities added to the event. The musicians were great, as was the music. Guest vocalist J.T. Bowen (from Clarence's first solo album), for me, was the hit the show. Incredible voice, incredible performer. My only issue with this show is that, for a venue of this size, the music was much too loud and the bass was so over the top and boomy that it muddied and ruined the overall sound of the music. I'm not an old fogie, and I've been to my fair share of loud, live shows in venues of all sizes, and I can honestly say that the sound levels at this show were just plain excessive. Clarence will be performing at Paradise Live once a month. Will I go to another show? Yes! Will I bring a good set of earplugs next time? Unfortunately, also yes.

NIce show but could have been so much better. Can't believe such a good venue could have such bad sound. You couldn't tell there was a violinist playing unless she was right next to Clarence's mike. I stopped counting how many times my ears were harrassed by reverb, really annoying and should not happen.

Wow, so great to see Clarence Clemons up close and looking & sounding great, after and while still recuperating from back and hip replacement surgeries!!! He's fantastic - and what a great sense of humor and very appreciative of the warm reception from the audience!!! Steve Smith & the Nakeds also rocked the house!!! You can tell that all of these performers all LOVE what they do and all do it well... It doesn't get much livlier than this!!!... It was a GREAT show, one of the best all around shows that I've seen there, and I've seen quite a number of them now!!! LOVED IT!!!..

Clarence was amazing. After all that surgery, he came back to give it his all! Thank you Clarence for putting on the show for your fans! Hope to see you touring soon.
