My husband and I went to the show on September 8th at the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, MI. They sounded fantastic. Every song was a perfect throw back to 30 years ago. Huey was spot on and delivered with passion. The band was exceptional and played with their hearts. Will see him again. Also, his new album sounds great.

Huey Lewis And The News still know how to have a great time on stage - and know how to get a crowd going. Huey's voice sounds the same and the band plays just as good as they did in their heyday! Fun music... albeit, I now have to accept the fact that they have fallen into classic status. But listening to all those songs and seeing the band on stage brought back all of the great 80's memories! I loved the fact that the venue allowed people to stand and dance because about 1/2 way into the concert, no one could resist.

My wife and I have seen him everywhere and the Fallsview was our second time watching Huey Lewis and the News. We now have a 2nd generation that loves him! Our seats were amazing- in fact there's truly not a bad seat in the house. Your up close to all the action, the sound if perfect and the light show is great. He played continuosely for a long time with a break in the middle. It's heart pounding with hit after hit!

Being a local musician I have to say the band was great and the show was great. The room sounds amazing. But what was Huey thinking by coming to Connecticut and not playing the HEART OF ROCK AND ROLL, for an encore! I've seen the band several times over the years. In Lake Placid 20 years ago with Tower of Power horns. Also in Waterbury at the Oakdale theater and now at MGM. Each time about ten years apart. All the shows were excellant. Sports of course was the big album. I was glad to see him play a variety at this latest show. But no HEART OF ROCK AND ROLL? To me that is the biggest club and dance song. I mean the beat is solid and it is probably Huey's most popular tune. I like the Acapello performance, shows a band can really sing.

The show was excellent. They are tremendous performers and its evident that they enjoy being on stage. The only downside was is was far too short. Considering we paid nearly $100 per ticket, I think they could have put on a longer show - they certainly have enough material to cover.

Huey Lewis and the News were very good. I wshed the crowd was more 80's in their dress and Heuy too. The "remember part" of the concert could have been supported by band "period" picutres on a big screen. Perhaps supported by one or two of his videos. I came to remember being a kid.. and left feeling like I just saw a Jazz band. No disrespect intended ! We had fun. Thomas

Huey Lewis and the News put on a great concert. I love the music, obviously, but they looked and sounded amazing! They do not age! They've added some funny mannequin moments and the acapella songs were so impressive. Humphrey's is the best place to see any concert. All the seats are great, the sunset was beautiful and it's so nice having a waitress bring me my drinks.

I don't know if it was just lack of time or someone in the band was not feeling up to participate but I was very disappointed that they did not perform a couple of my most favorite songs, Walking On A Thin Line & It's Alright. There were other songs he didn't sing as well like Bad Is Bad which left me feeling bitter and again disappointed. This was the 1st time I seen Huey and will probably not be the last provided they have a show in our area that is NOT during the week (The show was on a Tuesday evening) and not as expensive (Paid over $200 for Row 8 seats). None the less, it was a good show and was glad I seen it.

$92 per ticket for a 90 min show. You can add and that $1 per minute is way over priced. Very disappointed in general. Had I known it was only 90 minutes I would've passed. The show was good but not that good for the price I paid.

The group was AWESOME! Sounded fantastic! ONE issue...Beau Rivage. Stood up to dance, people behind (on the next upper level!) asked the usher to tell me to sit down as they couldn't "see". It's music, the bands see the love by the reaction of the crowd! Let the people dance! If you want to sit and listen to music sit in your living room.

First time seeing Huey Lewis and the News - not for lack of desire, just haven't had the opportunity. I don't know what it is about these classic rock/pop groups from the 70's and 80's, but they put on better shows than artists half or a third their age. So much energy, so much fun, just a great time overall. If you get the chance, go see them. You won't be disappointed!

Perfect diner at the steakhouse in the casino, easy mobile ticket entry, and sitting is very comfortable and excellent site lines. Really like Huey's rock, blues and Billy's drum work. Always perfect sound, however, this concert had a bit of distortion at the top of the max range. Huey and the News played a little extra longer than the past, nice! Huey and Johnny looked healthy and lean, and the next concert will find us attending.

Fun show. While I do like Huey & his band, I'm not a huge fan; I only saw them for the first time last year. Had the show not been at a venue just five miles from home, I probably wouldn't have gone. But so close, and on a Friday night: I grabbed a single ticket. And the venue does let the sections 2, 3, and 4 morph to the front of the stage towards the end, so I figured I had a chance to get Huey to sign a photo collage poster I made from last years show. And he did. Thanks Huey! The band didn't disappoint; they played a few new songs, but for the most part it was a greatest hits set list. Got to hear Power of Love, I Want a New Drug, The Heart of Rock & Roll, Heart and Soul, Stuck With You, If This is It, Hip To be Square, and they closed the encore with Working for a Livin'. Though I don't recall them playing Back in Time. Anyway, an enjoyable night. I imagine die hard fans would give a much stronger review, but I can't give 5 stars to every show I see!

I've seen Huey Lewis and the News many times over the years. Its been a few years since i I saw them last so I was glad to see they're still bringng it!! They played all the crowd favorites and some new music as they have a new album coming out. The band is tight, they've been playing together so long. Acoustically, the room at the Twin Rivers is kind of dead; the sound is muffled. It didn't do the band or vocals justice. Overall great night with Huey Lewis and the News. If you've never seen them...what are you waiting for?!

This was an amazingly fun concert. Huey really know how to engage the crowd and had us singing along and rocking out. The horn section was really great, as well as the guitar and keyboard artists. Eddie Money was alright and his kids were pretty good, but Huey Lewis & the News made the show all worth it. They continue to perform top-notch, and you can tell that they still love to play music. If you've never been to a HLN concert, you MUST go as it is a blast! How many rock and roll bands these days have an entire horn section, a keyboard player, and a lead singer who is one of the top harmonica players in the world?!?!? Mix some rock, rhythm, blues and a whole lot of soul and you've got HLN!!!

The show was perfect. Loved the new stuff. Huey was great!! Had a great time. ONLY downside was the ticket expierence. I puchased e tickets and saved them to my smart phone. After waiting in a long line I was told to wait in another ling line at will call because they couldnt scan my phone! So buyer beware if your going to the turning stone event center PRINT YOUR TICKETS AT HOME! Or get there an hour before showtime to pick up your tickets!

This is the 6th time I've seen them and like wine, they keep getting better with age. They never disappoint . They had a lot of energy from start to finish, sounded phenomenal, interacting with the crowd, with each other, played almost 2 hours. It was my sons first concert, and he really enjoyed it. Huey Lewis and the news are great showmen and musicians. I hope they don't retire for a long time. They are truly a class act. What always impresses me is that they are approaching their mid 60's and are still doing this 90 days a year. If you get a chance, check them out. You will leave the show with a great big smile on your face.

The band did not seem as good as in past concerts. The set list lacked a good flow, and Huey's voice seemed a bit off key at times. He tried to connect with the audience but the energy just wasn't there and I think it had everything to do with the set list. My wife and I were both questioning his choice of songs. Overall it was not one of his better concerts and I have attended a lot of them.

Huey Lewis is still in rare form, his voice hardly changed after 36 years. The band was fantastic and amazingly in sync every step of the way. The horns were awesome. They sounded just as good if not better than ever.

As long time Huey Lewis and the News fans, we have seen the band live in concert many times since 1987. This was one of the three best concerts we ever attended. Huey's voice isn't what it once was but that doesn't matter. The music is still great, the enthusiasm is overwhelming and the crowd loved the show.

I'm 21 and this was the first time I had ever seen Huey Lewis and the news and they were awesome. I was very impressed with his voice and how well he did sound after all those years of preforming. I was bummed he didn't play to hip to be square or It's alright but all in all would definitely see him again!

Great show! Huey's vocals were amazing as usual, and the rest of the band showed off both their vocal and instrumental talents. They got the crowd up and dancing, and there was a lot of energy in the room. I can't wait to see them again!!

I thought it was a really good show! I think Huey has still got it! I Love 80's music & their songs, so it was great to be able to see & hear them in person. I'm so glad they sang their old hits too. I would have liked to have heard more of the oldies that night, but it was all good! The sweetest thing was the older couple in front of us dancing I mean really dancing with each other!! It was worth going just to witness that. My husband & I were celebrating our 16th Wedding Anniversary so it was an inspiration to see that. We are 34 & 37 so I hope that when we are that age we are still that much or more in love they are! This is definitely a show for couples to go to. We saw a lot of couples enjoying it together!!

They came out 15-20 minutes late, but made up for it by putting on a great show with lots of energy and a cool encore. Was a very enjoyable evening with all of their old hits with some new material added in. Very entertaining evening! Crowd got to hear debut of new song and watch Huey really enjoying himself watching the brass section and band as the instrumental portion played on. Saw them put on a super show 12/30/12 in Tunica, but believe this one was even better.

This was the first time I've seen HL&N live but have wanted to for 30 years and this was the 30th Anniversary "Sports" Tour. This was so very worth the wait!! This concert was absolutely, hands down, one of the best concerts I've ever attended. And, to add to the beauty, this was in a more intimate setting, the theater, rather than a stadium. From start to finish, it was a complete 5 star experience!! I'd highly recommend grabbing the opportunity to go if you ever have the chance to see them live. You will not regret it!!

What's NOT to like about a trip back to the 80's? The band looked and sounded amazing. Huey was in great shape for the event, and even climbed onto a chair on stage while wailing on the harmaonica. The concert marked the 30th anniversary of the album Sports, and also featured some additional hits from the Greatest Hits album. My only disappointment was that no one else in the placed dressed like the 80's besides myself. If you're going to do something, do it right....go big or go home! Spike the hair, put on a skinny tie, or if you're a girl, dress like Pat Benatar or Alex from Flashdance.......do you believe in love? Show it by supporting this group that makes reliving the past an amazing evening.
