Saw the Jimi Hendrix Tribute by Randy Hansen at the Berks Jazz & Blues Fest on April 11th.....I Have seen Randy Hansen several times over the years and he is undoubtedly the Ghost of Jimi Hendrix in sight and sound.....He is so close in emulating the legendary guitar hero's signature guitar sound, vocals and antics that the Hendrix Estate family members totally endorse him as the only legitimate tribute artist to pay the best homage to the memory of Jimi's music....Randy's power trio of bass and drums played all the Hendrix tunes to the nth degree delivering such classics as Purple Haze, Voodoo Chile, Hey Joe, All Along The Watchtower, I Don't Live Today, Freedom, Stone Free to name a few in a 1 1/2 hour showcase....Just a great show by Randy Hansen and his band channeling the spirit and music of the late, great guitarist.

The venue had a great staff and they were so helpful ... Randy Hanson band was incredible.. Unbelievable talent !!! A great bunch of guys !!!

Seen Randy at the tower 30 yrs ago and i remember his this was the closest I'll ever get to see Hendrix. Randy has done what most couldn't do and still never ceases to amaze me with his ability to play the guitar... I hope i don't have to wait another 30 years to see him again...
