Upon my arrival to the concert I had to admit I was a little skeptical. Blues in Kissimmee? Really? But after the first song played, I new this was the real thing. I was in heaven. The music was awesome, the people were great and the food was good too. There wasn't anything finer than sitting back listening to the blues while enjoying BBQ on a beautiful summer day. The artists were true bluesman/women and the sets were switched quickly for the next great blues artist to share his/her craft. I really hope they come back next year (or sooner) i am sure more people will show up. I am one of those people and I will be spreading the word. Blues in Kissimmee? who would've thought. not me. But now that I got the taste of what these people have to offer, I will never second guess them again. Lets have more blues concerts there and allow for it to grow and become something great for people to come to year in and year out. CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR YOU AGAIN REAL SOON. :)

We absolutely loved it. Had our pics made with Elvin Bishop and Mickey Thomas. The only comment I can make is perhaps it should be held a few weeks earlier. We skipped the opening acts due to the heat.

Great show overall. Was introduced to a band that I wasn't familiar with and saw some I'd like to see again and again. Venue was a good fest. venue. Plenty of space. Was dissapointed in the lack of attendance that should have been present, considering the lineup and affiliation. More food & beverage vendors would be a plus. Sat up front center so didn't get blasted out from over amplification. Was so loud that could have sat clear to back of grounds. I know is fine line tween loud enough ant too loud to enjoy and no, I'm not too old. When you start to lose clarity, is too loud. Maybe a bit pricey for some who traveled, as we did. No advantage to early ticket purchase with all the extra fees for doing so. Otherwise, great show and will be back, pending lineup and economics.

There was a great lineup at this festival! We could not believe the small turnout for such quality entertainment! Famous names like, Pat Travers (never thought I would have the opportunity to see this group live in my lifetime what a special treat, at the helm, Pat Travers, along with his band of guitar heros, all masters of blues, rock, guitar musicianship & fusion of sound within the group at a level not often seen these days), Mickey Thomas & the BluesMasters, this really is a fine grouping of musicians, the harp player, everyone has a place in this band kep us dancing & singing, Elvin Bishop, not to disappoint, including with his famous "Fooled Around & Fell in Love" duet with singer, Mickey Thomas, whose gospel inspired voice at many times, reaches heights that reach right into our souls & inspires to enjoy being right here, right now!! Lesser known names to you maybe, but not to us, Shemekia Copeland (singing like to make her daddy, Johnny Copeland proud), Ruthie Foster, and her band of merry-women, playing their hearts out right there for us, including a five-stringed bass & fiddle player! Also, Ruthie's invitational duet w/Shemekia was awesome! The always wonderful & real, Eddie Shaw & his incredible band, including his son, Van Shaw on an instrument I can only call a three-necked guitar (I missed the name of it but he sure can play that thing!)! Not to be forgotten, Kenny Neal always brings his "A" game, John Mayall, will always be my hero. He can always be counted on to bring home any show you give him & again, like the true Master he is, he will play until the people go home & go home satisfied that now, John Mayall has played, we can go home knowing we did not miss a thing! If I were you, I would not miss this festival again! I can happily say, I didn't miss it this time! All awesome performers who made us all feel like the most important music fans/scouts in these great musicians lives! These BluesMasters all played their hearts out, like they were playing for a recording contract, like it was a full stadium, but really there were about 200 of us, a small but grateful crowd! Thanks to all the producers/promoters of this show, the performers, volunteers, vendors, & support teams at this event! Some of the food could have been better quality & pricing, but to be fair, we never did get to try the bar-be-cue which we heard was excellent. Prices could have been lower for beer also at $6.50 per beer. We really hope if they are able to have a second annual Kissimmee BluesMasters festival, more people show up to support the vendors & artists because if given the opportunity, we will be there and reccommend to everyone else, not to miss this one again!

Out of the whole lineup (from 11am - midnight) there was not one band that did not give a stellar performance! I took my 9 year old daughter to see this show as her first concert and she did not want it to end! Completely unforgettable! Would definitely return to see this show and highly recommend it to others!

Better than expected. Highlights: John Mayall, Elvin Bishop (of course) as well as Pat Travers, Kenny Neal and Ruthie Foster. Small crowd unfortunately for promoters, but easy to sit near stage. Postcard-prefect weather, easy parking, good restroom facilities. All was easy and fun. Hope they do it again next year.

The lineup was amazing. I saw a couple of muscians/bands I haven't seen and they were worth seeing again. Attendance was not as expected, but allowed me to sit almost front and center. The bands played as if they were playing for thousands instead of 300 or so. My husband and I really enjoyed the show. It was a little warm but breezy. Next event they should mark off an area (in the back) for shade umbrellas to make it more comfortable for people that need the shade.
