Wilson Phillips

This was my sisters B-day gift. She is 12 years younger than I am. However she could sing all their songs by the time she was 8. Wilson Phillips music has kept us connected and to this day whether we are together or apart when we hear a song we text each other to say we are thinking about the other one. They were funny, entertaining, and the harmony and vocals were AMAZING!

Wilson Phillips had an amazing concert despite the A/C issue at the venue. Working in extreme heat with just one little floor fan set at the side of the stage. The mood and energy in the room was really great. They were so much fun and very connected with their audience. We felt like we were all one big family on music night! The harmonies of these ladies voices is truly amazing! In addition to their great original songs, we were entertained with Mammas & Pappas, Beach Boys, ELO, and ABBA covers. And a special appearance of Cass Elliott's daughter, Owen, who sounded just like her Mom, was a great treat for us all. The only thing I may have changed was the sound mix, as on occasion the vocals were drowned out by the instruments. I personally wouldn't put the mixer to the side of the stage, but in the center of the audience. The mix might have sounded great in the sound engineer's headphones, but it was a bit disappointing for the audience. Overall a great show! Thank you Wendy, Chynna, and Carnie for a memorable evening.

Loved the show. There was an hour and a half delay but the wait was well worth it. the girls have never sounded better. LOVED the Wild-Horse Saloon, beautiful place and i got excellent seats and the meet and greet was incredible. I talked to the girls personally and i wish the meet and greet was a bit longer but overall, the concert was great.

i had front row seats to this event and was very impressed with the 3 women's performances of their older and newer material from their forthcoming album of cover songs from the mamas and the papas...it was freaking awesome!!! carnie's interaction with the audience and her comedic timing made me feel like i was among friends...very warm and fuzzy, china and wendy were so professional and gorgeous as always...would see them again!

You can't go wrong seeing these ladies live. Fun show with tons of energy. All the favorite songs. I'm going to see it again in 2 days. Not to be missed!

These 3 women and their band put on a rocking party! The crowd at the Florida Theater was shockingly small, and we felt so bad about it at the outset. But when Wilson Phillips came on stage, they put on a show as though the venue was a packed house. Their harmonies are superb, and their presentation of their parents' oldies, along with some Fleetwood Mac and Abba was thoroughly entertaining. Audience members were invited on stage to dance at one point and everyone was out of their seats and dancing in the aisles. A fabulous time was had by all. You go, girls!!!

This concert was really great. Very entertaining, and we enjoyed the entire show. Would recommend to any one.

We thoroughly enjoyed their show and so glad we went to see Wilson Phillips. They were awesome and would definitely go and see them again. The venue was a little disappointing but the show made up for it. They sounded great.

The sound system was terrible. Shameful distortion of such beautiful harmonies. One singer forgot the words to a song most of us knew, so there was no hiding it. Skagit Casino is not Bronson Missouri; I expected professional performers to remember the lyrics.

The girls were a little rough to start. Once they warmed up, they were great. The three were personable and interacted with the audience as friends. The venue was really nice because of a seating capacity of 460. I would definitely go see them again and Chyna really gave it her all. Great show!

Its not often a live performance is better than a recording where electronics can adjust and make even the worst voice sound good. The harmony was ALWAYS perfect. These gals are wonderful. They had SO much fun onstage even the crankiest crumudgeon i the audience had to have fun! Poor Carnie even performed through a cold and sore throat. What a consumate perfomer!

Individually their voices are not that strong, but their harmonies are impecable. Really enjoyed the concert and by the last song "Hold on for one more day", was the best of the evening.

Wilson Phillips put on a fantastic show at the Blue Chip Casino. They played many of their original songs that were hits back in the early 90's as well as covers from The Beach Boys and The Mamas and The Papas. It was truly an amazing experience!!

Concert was awesome! The girls sound just the same as they did 20 years ago! They sang their stuff, Beach Boys stuff, Mammas and Pappas stuff and if you want to be on stage....listen up for Dancing Queen. They invited about 15 people to go onstage w/ them to sing and dance during Dancing Queen. We danced and sang and had a great time. Carnie was funny, Chyna was funny and talkative and Wendy was quiet. I'd love to see them again. It's been way too long since they came around. The theater was very small and the seats were not sold out. Quite a shame! Go see them if they are in your neighborhood, you will love it!

Chyna, Wendy and Carnie were HOT on Sunday nite ! And not just cause of the sweltering heat... it is clear these 3 childhood friends still love one another and love singing their killer 3 part harmonies together... An excellent opening act, Alesia XO got things started off right, then the girls took the stage, where they played a fast paced set of all their original hits, a few obscure WP trax and a nice selection of covers (Hotel California, God Only Knows with a shout out to their late, great Uncle Carl, Dancing Queen, where all the Wilson Phillips children and grandchildren came up on stage and danced.. the boys looking very Brian Wilson-esque-as though they didn't want to be up there, but did it for the love of the fans... and California Dreamin'- with Chyna telling the story of how Papa John and Mama Michelle wrote it late one nite in their NYC apartment... and ahe had her Mom stand up to the adoration of the crowd saying "receive the love Mama".. despite an very inexperienced and flustered sound man (Chyna said "It's a good thing you're cute young man") the girls sounded great on a hot summer's evening in a fantastic intimate venue.. go see 'em !

More than half of the performance was ruined by technical glitches. Mics were cutting out...and the 3 ladies couldn't hear each other in their ear pieces. Since this fine group is all about harmony that is a huge problem. Carnie kept being for adjustments from the sound guys who wandered sound the stage with replacement mics during their songs. What a disservice to these performers who had many friends and family in the audience... not to mention the rest of us who just wanted to enjoy the music. Why weren't these things checked in advance? This was more like a high school talent show with a bad sound system.

I would go to see Wilson Phillips any time they were playing in our area.

Wilson-Phillips was a nice concert that featured kids of famous parents (Brian Wilson and Michelle Phillips who was in the audience along with Carl Wilson's sons and other relatives). They sang all of their hits along with some from the Beach Boys, Mama's and Poppa's, Momma Mia, and some funny impersonations of other singers! The Libbey Bowl is a quaint venue with lots of room in seats and not a bad seat. I'm more of a 60-70s guy, but enjoyed hearing some 80s music.

Was seated next to Michelle Phillips (Mamas and the Papas) Chynna Phillips mother. I selected the best seats available and there she was. Amazing experience.

Wilson-Phillips are incredibly entertaining. Funny, witty, spontaneous. Their harmony is perfect. A great concert. I would see them again

This show was so much better than I ever expected. I went with my sisters and we had a great time singing along. I would recommend without hesitation.

They sang maybe 4 of there songs, talked for about 30 minutes and sang a few other songs that weren t there s. It was Over in one hour and 15 minutes for $56 a ticket. No seats available to us and we could barely see being stuck in the back corner.

Wilson Phillips is one of My Wife's all time favorite groups! She was in Heaven singing along with the still Beautiful & Talented Trio! We were very up close which made our night more memorable! This group is highly recommended & they will not disappoint!

Said to say, Wilson Phillips should no longer be performing. Their harmonies were not synchronized. Their soundmen looked startled and could not fix or improve the performance. Cruise ship performances are far superior! The quality of this performance was less than marginal. A performance of this quality should have been free of charge. Alcohol consumption was not moderated; most attendees were drunk and spilling their drinks on patrons. At this point, I will not go back to a concert held in the venue; regardless of the talent.

Taking nothing away from Thunder Valley Casino Resort, seen several good live concerts here, but this was not a concert, this was Karakoe, with the ladies singing to backing tracks from their singles. I would not not have brought tickets if I knew this.I could have went to a bar for this type of show.

I want to see them over and over. Such a fun night. Their voices are still so awesome. I would like to see them do even more concerts and more of their own songs. Please keep doing concerts!

Deeply disappointing evening of off-key singing by a group who's recordings I adore. Sad to be in a room with a tape track and three women who sound as if they have not sung together since the 1990's. I felt ripped off. Expensive tickets to a show--that did indeed sound like karaoke. Yuck. Double yuck.

I had the best time at this concert! Wilson Phillips was AWESOME!! They sounded INCREDIBLE! Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Osbourne were there. Billy Baldwin sat in front of me! Best time ever!!

They sound every bit as good live as they do on their albums. Full of energy, laughter, and their harmony is unforgettable. I hope to see them again in concert soon.

Great night reliving the early 90's with WilsonPhillips!! Had a great stroll down memory lane as the sang many of my favorites!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

The night started out inside the wonderful Genesee venue and evolved into a special walk through memory lane. Their hits were performed spot on with live vocals to the amazement of all. The inclusion of tributes to the Beach Boys and Mamas an Pappas were a special touch that added so much more than was expected to the evening. What a thrill it was when they asked 20+ from the audience to join them on stage for dancing and singing. Something that most acts are just not willing to do anymore. A perfect night with a perfect group. Thank you for a special evening.

The ladies put on an excellent show. Their voices were sharp and their harmonies were perfect. Their backup band was sharp and professional. WP sang most if not all their hits plus some great covers of Beach Boys, Mamas & Papas & ABBA. Throughly enjoyed the show!

Crazy talented and hilarious. It was especially fun how Wilson Phillips invited fans on stage to dance for a song!!!

Love listening to Wilson Phillips, however their drummer was so loud it was difficult to hear their vocals. Perhaps one of those "glass enclosures" around the drummer would help.

I would see Wilson Philips again in a heartbeat. They have amazing harmony and the songs they performed of their parents brought tears to my eyes. Unforgettable performance.

What a fabulous concert! It was so incredible the way they expressed their love of music, sense of humor and lifelong friendship in just a couple hours. Great show and would definitely see them again.

These ladies have amazing voices and beautiful harmonies! They were also very funny and engaged the audience in such a way that it felt like they were old friends just out having a good time. I highly recommend seeing them!

The show was very entertaining. Loved all the stories the ladies told and how they interacted with each other and the audience. The singing was wonderful. My 10 year old daughter and 14 year old son loved the show as well. We had driven 4 plus hours for the show and would do so again.

I felt so emotional seeing these ladies and how they performed. It was my first time seeing them and they gave us a Great show! They sang all my favorites, but I was surprised they didn't do some of the other songs they were well known for. Ultimately, it was an AWESOME show!

Wilson Phillips was fantastic on Saturday night. They put on a great show with hits of their own along with great classics from other artists. The Rose is a great, easy to deal with venue. The service and food was great.

The girls harmonies are still outstanding! They have beautiful voices and together are just unforgettable! They are very down to earth and a joy and pleasure to watch! They told little stories of when they were young and the lessons they learned from their parents, playing at mom's piano, learning harmonies, etc. Loved their performance!

The ladies were just wonderful on their harmonies and played a great selection of their own songs and those of others, including their parents. The only two recommendations for further tightening the show would be to a) scrap that rather bland song at the outset, which also had poor sound mixing, and b) play more of their own wonderful songs and even lesser known ones, especially those that utilize those harmonies. They only played a total of 80 minutes and, given how rarely they performed and how far people travel sometimes for their shows, that felt a bit unsatisfying. Maybe shoot for 1:45 hours or so - the catalogue is certainly there! Nevertheless, a great priviledge to see them for us!

They were so conversational that they made the huge venue feel like a quaint gathering of friends. A nice blend of Wilson Phillips songs, Mamas & Papas, as well as Beach Boys. They seem so genuine and grateful to their fans. Not only that you can sense the chemistry between them. final note, their songs and harmonies were stellar.

The Wilson Phillips show was amazing. The energy from these 3 woman was contagious!! We knew almost every song which was great.

There was an excellent assortment of songs. In addition to the most popular Wilson Phillips songs they also did several of the Mamas and Papas and Brian Wilson and threw in a couple of Abba and Elton John. Chyna Phillips is a very powerful singer and was all over the stage. Carny and Wendy Wilson are just fantastic. I was hoping they would do a couple of the Heart songs but that is another show.

The ladies were awesome, their harmonies are so captivating, I'm get mesmerized listening to them. They are cute, sweet, happy, super talented. I just love seeing them. We've seen them many times, this one was one of the best. Their vocal ranges are awesome. I will see them every time I can. Thank you for a great night.

The girls gave an awesome performance. My husband and I really enjoyed it.

The event was lots of fun, my wife enjoyed all of it. The drinks were great even the appetizer was good.

We bought these tickets because we wanted to see a show at the Wildhorse during our visit to Nashville. We were NOT disappointed. The Wildhorse has upgraded since we were last there, and Wilson Phillips put on an awesome show! The songs brought many great memories flashing back - their harmonies never sounded better!!! We would recommend this show to almost anyone - we were NOT disappointed and completely enjoyed our evening at the Wildhorse. Money well spent!!

Great show. This was a last minute decision, but glad we got tickets. They played a lot of the Beach Boys and Mama and Pappa songs.

Who knew that most of the people at the Wild Horse for the Wilson Phillips show would be on their feet dancing and singing out the lyrics to most of the songs that they performed?! They gave a fantastic show and I have a whole new respect for their talent! I'm adding their Pandora channel right away so I can hear them more often. Thanks for a great time and great memories. This gals are extremely talented and I'm SO happy that we went to this show...Lots of fun dancing and singing! These girls have HEART and you can hear it when they share their amazing talented gifts of singing and songwriting!

The girls still have it! Their harmonies are amazing! They looked beautiful. Second time I've seen them live and would pay every chance I get. The packed house shows that The Dream is Still Alive for Wendy, Carnie and Chynna!! Hoping for new material soon, and maybe we can get back to the artists who actually have talent back on the radio.

From 8 pm to 9:30 is way too long to wait for the main act..they must have been vetting new acts, but they didnt bother to let us know. The main event was great!. A little more chatting than I needed to hear, but great singing!

Short and sweet. They were huge when I was in high school--Wendy, Carnie and Chyanna. So, I saw they were going to be in BevHills. And I grabbed a ticket. At the time (and I still am), I was fighting for my life. And never underestimate the power of their biggest hit, Hold On, for those who are sick. I figured buying the ticket in June, for an event at the end of Sept would mean I had to, ahem, hold on for a few months at least--not wanting to waste very in demand cash. I'm awfully glad I did. This was, yes, the corniest, cheesiest, yet down to earth concert ever. They sounded great--rehearsed jokes could be easily forgiven given the spirit in which they were delivered. There were special guests and tributes to their music royalty families. Michelle Phillips came out to join the girls on California Dreaming, Mama Cass Elliot's daughter joined as well. Along with nice tributes for The Beach Boys. The crowd ate them up. I enjoyed the hell out this concert. I'd actually dare you to see them and not come away with a smile.

An amazing concert! I love Wilson Phillips!!! I was very entertained.It loved the band, the covers, the atmosphere, the staff, and the Guests!!

I just saw Wilson Phillips show at the Atlantis Hotel & Casino in Reno, NV. The show was pretty awesome. The girls came out and sang all of their great songs along with songs from the Beach Boys, Mama's and the Papa's and Elton John. They still sound amazing and harmonize so well together. Carnie narrated a good amount of the concert, it almost felt like being at her talk show which I thought was cool. Wendy and Chynna also did a lot of talking in between songs, the concert was very personable. At one point they even had people come up and dance and sing on the stage. If you enjoy amazing great vocals and an entertaining show I would highly recommend this concert.

Zero sound mixing made this an appalling waste of money! The girls were absolutely drowned out by the band. Just unacceptable by a professional band and an established venue. Just horrible. Big disappointment, wouldn't dream of recommending.

This concert was amazing. Their voices, solo and in harmony, gave me goosebumps numerous times. Beyond beautiful. Especially liked the Neil Young and Elton John covers. Nostalgic for me when Owen, Mama Cass' daughter took the stage with them to sing The Mamas and Papas The humanistic element of Chynna, Carnie, and Wendy's banter and conversations with the audience, often their family and friends, made me feel as if I was in an intimate setting rather than in an auditorium. Hope Wilson Phillips decides to perform and share their gift with us again soon!

This was a terrible concert. The women seemed completely unprepared. They couldn't remember what song was to be done next. I don't know who their sound guy was but the acoustics were terrible! It seemed very loud and screechy. Chyna seemed to want to be a rock star and she drowned out the voices of the other two. And then bringing all their family and friends on stage to dance around for several songs might have been enjoyable to them, but for what my tickets cost, I was not amused.

Sound engineer did an awful job. We were sitting in the center of row 4. This should have been a great spot. We have heard them in concert before and they sounded good. The show was a little to hokey with all of the kids coming up on stage and dancing for a few numbers.

I want to say this about the Wilson Phillips concert I went to Thursday night. I am a fan. I love their music and harmonizing and pedigree. Their show is less of a performance and more of a block party. They gently poke fun at each other, and themselves. At one point they have their kids and spouses come out and dance onstage which is pretty sweet. Michelle Phillips came out of the audience to snap pics of her grandchildren dancing. Childhood friend Owen Elliot (Mama Cass's daughter) came out to sing her mom's part on a couple of Mamas & Papas songs. There were a couple of Beach Boys songs. And of course the Wilson Phillips songs, which by the way include three #1s which ain't too shabby. No, they never became superstars, though I will never fully understand why. But they are all wives and moms and seem to have have found peace with their lives and it was just a really fun show. Backstage afterwards (thanks Jennifer Wharton!) they had friends & family gather, and I have never seen a more crowded backstage, it seemed like 1/3 of the audience. I used to tell people that Wilson Phillips was my guilty pleasure. They are not. I have no guilt. They are just pleasure.

This was my second time seeing Wilson Phillips perform. Very pleased with what I saw - even better than the last time around. Lots of good interaction with the audience, background talk on how each song came into being. Also goofy moments from both Chynna Phillips and Carnie Wilson. And most importantly, the trio's trademark harmony is still intact - most groups lose their harmony when doing live shows. Only regret is that Wilson Phillips hasn't written much in the way of original material after 1992 (it's been almost all covers since). But what they do have, they still know how to nail it and impress the audience. Will gladly see them again and again. I was a huge fan in Wilson Phillips' heyday and I'm glad that they are performing together again.

Wilson Phillips has the great ability to bring their fans right into their concert. They rocked the house with a wide variety of music. Love them - Love them - Love them.

The show was so good - you would think after 20 years that these ladies have lost a step, but they sounded so great, no lip syncing, their harmonies are as sweet as ever. The added bonus of this tour was seeing both Brian Wilson and Michelle Phillips in the audience of the Beach Boys and Mamas and the Papas. It was like a Rock and Roll Family Reunion and a show all in one. The library of music available to these ladies is so vast with their own hits, the Mamas and Papas hits, and the Beach Boys - they sang some of the greatest hits from all of them!! Thats why I would like to see them again - not enough time to cover such great material. These ladies are consummate pros and should not be missed - Highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance
