What can you say about these guys? They're the real deal. They're everything that's ever been good about American popular music. The tongue-in-cheek "devil's music" references just make it all that much more fun. Do some finger-stretching exercises on the way to the show or you'll be sore from shootin' the devil horns all night long. The best deal you can get on a concert ticket. You'll be scratching your head afterward and wondering how $12 got your posterior rocked so thoroughly.

This was the first time I caught them live and I was not disappointed! These dudes seriously RAWKED! The venue was cool enough, lots of space and barstools (always a plus). I will definitely catch them when they roll back into town...

I must start by saying The Supersuckers is the band that I've seen the most in my life. I've seen them everytime they come to NYC, sung along, cheered, jumped, bought their records and their merch, and they never disappointed me until this last gig. It's simple, to be the greatest rock n roll band in the Wolrd you have to play rock... this time Eddie and Co. played an entire set of midtempo scaled down country music, Eddie never let go of that acoustic guitar and I was dying for Marty to grab that Les Paul standing behind him. Turned out to be decoration. So much for Metal Marty... Coming out of the theater I heard many people sharing the same feeling. You guys let your hardcore NYC fans down. Where was the overdriven ballz to the wall guitars? What happened to the kicks, jumps, and antics that made your shows so special? What happened to playing the instruments while tangled in arms, the jokes, the badassness?

Let me start by saying, while I'm sure The Supersuckers and Jesse Dayton put on a hell of a show, I came to see Gallows Bound and had to sadly leave after their set due to prior obligations. Gallows Bound is a phenomenal band, both live and in the studio, and it was fantastic to get to see them perform again!

Great band, great show, great venue, great opener! Supersuckers were amazing, put on a great show! Muck and the Mires opened - they played a rocking set - fabulous band! The Sinclair is the best sounding music venue in Boston hands-down. Absolutely the best sound...

Great band that puts on a great show. Play all their songs as good or better than they sound on the album, but it wasn't just like listening to an album because they would do something different here and there, and the energy they had was amazing. They interacted with the audience an appropriate amount.

Great show. It was my wife's birthday that night, and we had a big crowd there with us to celebrate. We had arranged through the sound tech for Eddie to give my wife a birthday shout-out, but I'm guessing the pre-show antics back stage would explain why Eddie ended up wishing the sound tech a happy birthday instead. Oh well, it only added to the celebration of the night. Helluva a way to bring in my gal's 37th birthday!

The Supersuckers have returned to Florida for the first time in too many years. Sunday night at Firestone Live, they re-baptized the crowd into the Church of Awesomeology. No kidding. Covering their 20 years, the Suckers burned through their songs from "Bad Bad Bad" to "Paid" to "How to Maximize Your Kill Count" and an assault on the unsuspecting ears with "Born with a Tail." With the departure of one of their guitarists and arrival of new member Marty Chandler I almost expected a bit of the awkward, but Mr. Chandler was prepared with skill and swagger to seem he had always stood there with this amazing band. Eddie Spaghetti did not pester us with long discussions and introductions, no excuses as why they had stayed away from Florida for so long--he led his band through an excellent set of songs which has my ears still ringing with glee like a kid hearing sleigh bells after Thanksgiving knowing Christmas is coming at long last. Thanks to them for reminding us all what the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World truly sounds like. I won't speak about the three opening bands who will remain nameless here because I am thinking more about my present cup of coffee than anything about them other than trying to forget them.

An old church converted to a rock venue...great lasershow...we (Steve and Rhonda) met the owner first after arrival...all by chance...had great conversation and he even bought us a few brews for the show...Thanks Mike...then we met Supersuckers singer as he walked in the door...he was kind enough to wait for my woman to meet him upon her return from the basement facilities...WOW...she was in shock...this is one of her absolute favorite bands and she turned me on to them...The Atomic drops opened the show and kicked a**...very powerful tight rockin band...keep your eyes open for them...Supersuckers came on headlining the show and absolutely kicked a** as they do...what a dynamic, high energy, powerful group of incredible talent...the show was just too short...only because we could listen to them for days...they are one of those rare bands that a better live !...so rare today...both polished and rough sounding...the way it ought to be...while they were playing their set...the singerfrom The Atomic Drops was near by and we talked over the Supersuckers for a few minutes...he split and returned with a free concert shirt for us...very very cool...this concert was one of the best memories of any concerts I have ever attendedin my 41 years of life...and I have seen a lot of concerts and all kinds of performers playing every type of music. We drove from Cumberland, Md. to Pittsburgh to se ethe show...and the trip started out with a wild storm in the country where we saw a rainbow landing on a windmill...even got some great pics of that...it ended at my 2nd home in Pittsburgh crashed on bed soaking up the amazing night sharesd with the bands, amazed we met Eddie Spaghetti and the rest of the crew, as we made love, smoked, and drank the rest of our brews...WHAT A KILLER EXPERIENCE NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN !...I can go on...but the point has been made...If you get to see these guys...do not pass it up...Enjoy !
