I hasvent been to a real concert in a long time, so this was very special for me. I loved every minute. Mark Lindsay and Micky Dolenz gave me a wonderful night of music and memories. Best time I ve had in a long while! The venue was great, I flew in from Los Angeles just for this event and it was so worth the plane ride and hotel stay to see this performanace, my heart is still singing. The ticketing was quick and easy. I m signed up for for alerts and look forward to using Ticketmaster again! Thanks for or the great night guys! My heart needed it!

Went to this show with no real expectations, opening act was REALLY great. We were actually worried that the headliner Micky Dolenz was not going to be as good. Happily we walked out of there loveing every moment.. every song. Thank you Micky Dolenz for some great memories. My brother and I had a great time!

The 50 Summers of Love tour is a fun evening with the music of the Beatles performed by the Fab Four and Micky Dolenz of the Monkees and Mark Lindsay from Paul Revere and The Raiders. Lots of great music, comedy and wonderful memories. Highly Recommended!

In a day where rock stars of the past have either passed away, succumbed to their addictions or otherwise lost the quality of voice and talent they once possessed, Micky Dolenz remains one of the exceptions. His voice was fantastic as he performed classic Christmas songs, Monkees hits and a few unexpected gems. I won't ruin the surprise for others who are eager to see him perform, but I will say that he included pieces never previously performed on a live stage. The antics he expressed in long-past Monkees television episodes remain a constant just like his witty smile.

The Monkees Christmas was very good and we enjoyed it. Enjoyed the music very much. It would have been nice if Micky Dolenz would have talked more and made eye contact with the people looking for an autograph and smiled more when signing autographs.

What a great show! Micky was in great voice. Personable, engaging, funny. Sister Coco did an awesome rendition of White Rabbit, what a voice. Gave the audience what they came to hear. Just a great performance.

Micky sounded like he did when he first started singing! The show was full of energy and everyone seemed to be truly enjoying themselves both on stage and in the audience! His band was amazing! Micky joked around with the crowd and told some stories about the songs he performed. He played alot of his Monkees hits and also snuck in a few extras which were more than welcomed by the crowd! I would see Micky every time he comes to town . . . and in all nearby towns/cities as well! He is such a wonderful entertainer! In Micky, I believe!

I have not seen Micky perform since Davy died. He has a top-notch band that includes Aviva Maloney from Davy's band and his sister Coco. Coco has a knock-out voice. Micky performs Monkee tunes without reliving the Monkee era. I am ok with that. Good show!

Fantastic night! Like I always say...you don't get service like this from The Rolling Stones! Micky and his wife, sister and band couldn't have been nicer, warmer or more welcoming. Every time I see any of The Monkees, I feel like I am with family. Micky's voice is amazing, better than ever. I can't wait to go with my husband to see Micky, Peter and Michael!

The night was a party celebrating the Monkees and the songs of our youth. Mickey Dolenz played all his Monkee hits and also gave a great tribute to the late Davy Jones by singing a few of his Monkee hits as well. A special treat, and must say a nice surprise, were the songs fronted by Mickey's sister Coco, who sounded amazing. The band was tight and getting to hear some songs from Mickey's new CD really capped off the evening. I bought his new CD and I love it. His take on the Archie's Sugar Sugar is a highlight. All in all it was a great evening from a great performer, and hearing his stories made it a memorable event.

But I think Paul Revere was better than Mickey and should have closed the show. I felt Mickey hadn't rehearsed and he didn't do all the songs. He had his sister sign. Paul was a perfect showman as always along with the band. Met them all after the show and great guys!!!

Paul Revere and Raiders put on a great show in Lakeland on the 15th. I only wish the show had more Paul Revere and less Mickey Dolenz. Paul Revere's show was sharp, the band was great and the vocals were fantastic. Mickey Dolenz was unrehearsed, uncomfortable doing the Christmas songs (kept looking at the music).

Paul and the Raiders were great as usual. Very funny banter between songs. Good mix of standard and Christmas songs. Unfortunately, Micky Dolenz did not seem to be in good harmony. His sister basically carried the show. He seemed like he was trying too hard, and not really having fun. And, by the way, what's up with the big red hat that hides his face?

I went to both the 2:30 and 7:30 shows and all I can say was that both shows were WONDERFUL. I bought the tickets in September just to see Micky Dolenz, but I walked out of that venue totally in love with Paul Revere and the Raiders. They were HILARIOUS. Both Micky's set and PR&TR set was a perfect mix of the hits and Christmas tunes. Both Micky and PR&TR looked like they were having so much fun on stage, despite playing for a DEAD crowd. Really, the crowd was horrible. But despite a crappy crowd, the performers all gave it their 110%. Micky bounces and skips around the stage like he is in his 20's, not in his 60's. The same goes for Paul Revere. He has the energy of a teenager despite being almost 74 years old. I go to many many concerts, and this was one of the best concert experiences ever.

Let me start with saying that Paul Revere etc were great. A very very entertaining performance. Micky Dolenz left a little to be desired. A few of the Christmas songs he didnt ever take the time to learn and had to look at the sheet music for the words.

Paul Revere was enjoyable. His audience banter and presentation was delightful. He should have been the second act. Mickey Dolenz was just tired. His voice is gone and he seemed to be doing the show solely for the money.

Micky Dolenz put on an exceptional show at the Bears Den at the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls! He sang a lot of his old hits and told entertaining stories in between! His band was great and his sister, Coco is a star in her own right! Micky and Coco sang the "Crying in the Rain" which brought tears to my eyes! It . was fun to hear MIcky sing te old Monkee hits plus a few others that showed off his vocal prowess. After a 90 minute set he met with fans.

No energy..I have seen the monkee's many many times... they need to take lessons from the Beach Boys, they make you feel like they enjoy it and they talk and appreciate the loyalty of many years. What a fun night! The Fab Four were fabulous as The Beatles. Very talented and entertaining, but the real treat was seeing Mickey Dolenz and Mark Lindsey perform TOGETHER on the same stage at the same time. They sang each other's songs, joked, laughed, and seemed to be having a great time. All your favorite songs were here - Kicks, Indian Reservation, Last Train To Clarksville, Not Your Stepping Stone. You name it, they sang it. Only thing preventing me from giving this a 5 star rating is that Mickey appeared out of sorts all night, forgetting lyrics, slurring a little. Not sure what was going on but both he and Mark were in fine voice and gave it their all. I highly recommend this show for a feel-good evening out.

What can I say other than the fact that I absolutely adore Micky Dolenz! He is an incredible personality, a voice of his era and a true professional. He remains a great performer to this day, and I will keep seeing him live as long as he keeps performing. I liked The Canyon as a venue because of its intimate setting and opportunity to get seats right by the stage; however, the food and beverages are way overpriced and not that great, so I was hesitant to leave a five-star rating with this review. Check out The Canyon if you're ever in the Agoura Hills area (outside Los Angeles) and definitely check out Micky live, whether he performs solo or as part of The Monkees.

I saw Felix Cavliere this last Saturday night (10/21/2017) at the mid-size Saban Theater nearby in Beverly Hills (seats 1,900). He was the opening act for Mickey Dolenz. Felix was set up front and center in his band, playing standing up behind a slightly raised B3 with a Korg digital keyboard (piano) on top. His band was: Vinnie Santoro on drums (great!), a second keyboard player, a guitarist, and a bassist. The Hammond dominated the sound, of course. He occasionally would step away from the Hammond to take a few steps in the groove and encourage the other players. His voice was as great as ever and his phrasing and rhythmic sense superb and soulful!! -- He's a national treasure. -- He talked comfortably to the audience, told lots of stories, and got some of us up dancing! Good historic photos and video clips behind him on the screen. If he comes to your town, don't miss him! Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees was good too. Still doing it pretty good with his strong, powerful and high voice. (Note: He did Johnny B. Goode in D(!) -- (while most bands do it in A, and Chuck Berry himself did it Bb). Lots of good songs---Lots of good stories. Especially the one about Jimi Hendrix opening for them on tour (a match-up that didn't last too long). Mike Nesmith came on stage for a couple songs. A female singer (Mickey's sister) sang Nesmith's hit by Linda Ronstadt, "...you and I travel to the beat of Different Drum". Harry Nilsson's son came on stage for a number with Mickey also. It was good and fun to see an (older) trouper like Dolenz still doing it. He is the embodiment of the zany Monkees. He still has a dynamic personality and explosive energy and a great powerful and high voice with a lot of "want to" commitment in his singing.

Micky was great, as usual. I recognize the work he and his group put into this show; Micky's voice was in great form, and he looks great! Coco and the band all complemented Micky well. Though I like Mike Nesmith a lot, he was not in good form during this show, which I attribute to a lack of rehearsal with the band. The food was surprisingly good, though expensive when adding the Service Charge and Tip, I find pricing practices such as these predatory; we're a fixed audience eating a mandatory meal, after all. All told, a great experience. Thanks very much to Micky Dolenz and his band for a wonderful show!

Micky still has what it takes---he sounds good & is very versatile. We also enjoyed his guests-- Mike Nesmith (with his adult children) and the son of the late Harry Nilsson. My only complaint about the whole evening was the food---it was overpriced & everything was a la carte. Furthermore, the prices on-line for these items were less than what they showed on the the menu.

I am a big Monkees fan, and in the past 12 months I saw the Monkees play the Pantages theater for Michael Nesmith's final show, and I have seen two Micky Dolenz solo gigs. The band is really great (same band for all three shows that I saw), and Micky sounds terrific. He brings a wide range of Monkees hits, from "Last Train to Clarksville" to "You Bring the Summer", as well as some Hendrix and the Michael Nesmith written "Different Drum" (as sung by his sister, Coco). If you are even the least bit of a Monkees fan, you will have a great time.

After a grueling week, my family prepared for the weekend by going to a concert on Friday night. It was at what used to be called the Westbury Music Fair, now called the NYCB Theater at Westbury, and it featured the "Summer of Love" tour, headlined by Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders and Micky Dolenz of the Monkees. Fifty years ago, you probably would not have been able to get a ticket to this show, as Lindsay and Dolenz were two of the top rock and rollers on the planet back then, with a multitude of hit records, appearances on television and coverage by the then teen media in such publications as 16 and Tiger Beat. Today, it is different. With a complete lack of promotion for this concert--the local papers completely ignored it, as far as I could see--you could have walked up to the box office five minutes before the show started, and you would have been able to get a good seat to the show. The place was probably half full, but it did not deter either the audience or the performers from having a good time. The night's festivities opened with the Fab Four, a talented quartet of musicians who portrayed the Beatles on stage. The did note-by-note live renditions of many of the real Fab Four's hits, and I must say that they were surprisingly good, a nice beginning to the rest of the evening. After a brief intermission, Lindsay and Dolenz came on, started with "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone"--a song that they both recorded, the Raiders first and the Monkees second, but garnering the hit--and for the next nearly hour and a half, all present were transported back to the 1965-1970 era, not just the "Summer of Love" in 1967, but an era when the music truly mattered. Sure, when most people think about the "Summer of Love," they think about 1967, when the establishment was turned topsy turvy by a major sea change in not just music, but culture and the way we, as a society, looked at things, but if you really want to look back with an open eye, music in 1967 was still being spearheaded by acts like the Raiders and the Monkees, very corporate entities who were putting out incredible music. And that music was heard on Friday night, everything from "I'm a Believer," to "Him or Me, What's It Gonna Be," to "Kicks" to "A Little Bit You, A Little Bit Me." Lindsay is a little long in the tooth, but he delivered his hits with a lot of energy, and Dolenz continues to be a marvel, sounding the same as he did 50 years ago, with almost as much energy as he had way back when. It was just disappointing that they were playing to a half empty house, but those who were there were into the moment, and we all seemed to have a good time. And with such a small crowd, it was easy to get out of the venue, which as anyone who has seen a show there can attest to, can be highly problematic at times. So, all in all, it was a good show on Friday night, one that brought us back to a different time and place in our lives. For me--having seen probably at least 100 or 150 shows at the venue, going back to when it was merely a tent--every time I go back to Westbury--notice, I avoid using the current name, because to me, the place will always be the Westbury Music Fair--it is like I am coming home. And being 20 minutes away from where I live makes it even better. The "Summer of Love" tour is playing around the country this summer. If it comes to your area, I urge you to go and see it. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoyable evening with Micky and his band with part of the soundtrack of my youth. I always thought the Monkees' music was very progressive, and it still holds up. So happy he sang "Goin' Down," which was one of my favorites. His sister was really great, and we enjoyed her song. He sounded good and had a great back up band. His guitar player and musical director was especially impressive. His sister Coco sang back up and did a couple of covers singing lead. Her voice was fantastic. It appeared to be a very tight and scripted performance. He signed autographs at the merchandise table after the show but unfortunately was not very friendly or personable. No pictures or conversation at all! It seemed like all he cared about was selling merchandise and not connecting with his fans. It was a disappointment and let down after a very enjoyable concert. His off stage persona did not match his on stage personality.

I was so impressed with this concert. I can't believe that Micky is 70....his voice is still fantastic and he moves effortlessly across the stage and never seems to run out of energy. The show was memorizing and I enjoyed every single second. The only complaint I have is that they rushed us along with the autographs but I can't really complain...I didn't know that was part of the deal so I was thrilled to shake Micky's hand and tell him how awesome he was.
