Yolandita Monge

Miss Monge seldom do any concerts in Miami, so when I heard she was coming, I most definitely have to go and I am very happy I did. She has a long singing career & she's truly a singer with a great range, blessed with a beautiful voice. She's a beautiful woman as well. She conducted & performed her concert with class, style & substance. I look forward seeing her again soon. Supposedly, she's going on tour to support her brand new CD very soon. Can't wait! Many thanks to the promoters & producers of this concert! Keep them coming!

Great Show, Top Performers however 1 hour and 30 minutes late in starting the show - UNACCEPTABLE.

The singer was good however, the crowd was very loud and screaming out songs for her to sing and we could not hear her most of the time. She seem to cater very much so to the special crowd sitting directly in front of her stage. Seems like a very special section for just special people. I purchased tickets very early and was sitting very close, and still we did not enjoy the concert as we left empty and wanting to hear her beautiful voice. Again I think she especially catered to much to the people in that special section, it felt like the concert was for them. One particular young man sitting in that section picked her up from the stage and brought her to the floor and was just delighted to sing to them. Interesting enough, I bumped into this young man in the restroom during one of her quick recessions. This young man appears to think that he owns the theater or owns the show. He cut in front of me and literally shoved me in order to get of the restroom being that there was a crowd. I did speak up by saying "excuse me young man". He looked at me and proceeded for the door. Overall, we feel the money was a waste and our evening was wasted. We didn't go to a concert, we went to see a circus. The artist didn't help, she catered to the crowds behavior. Even when she would be speaking, they were screaming as if we were in a ball game.

Her show was great. I was able to enjoy her voice and go back to my childhood by remembering her songs. Great show!!!

I have not seen Yolandita Monge perform live in over 20 years. I own most of her CDs. She has been a star since she first recorded an album at the age of eleven. She gave us a feast singing her hit songs from each decade, from the 70's to the present time. She included a song from her new album. I am a proud witness of Yolandita's comeback. She is beautiful as ever, strong as ever, powerful and confident as ever before. She owned the stage. There were people from different countries, different ages, feminist, gay and straight. She touched each and every one of us. She had total control of the crowd and with her "a capella session", singing the songs that the audience asked of her, she showed that her voice is as strong as ever. Yolandita has always been know for her diva style interpretation of her songs. She doesn't sing. She is an excellennt actress and she uses her hystrionic abilities to transmit us the feelings and message of her songs. We danced with her, We cried with her. We felt vindicated with her. From the moment she walked into the stage until she closed the show with a dance song, she gave an excellent performance as only a true star could. Yolandita is an endless source of talent. Definitely want to see more of her.

Yolandita's voice has not changed a bit. I have been a follower since was younger earlier on her career. She sang a lot of beutiful songs that have been popular . I must confessed that the delay to begin the show was unexcusable. The show was schedule to begin at 8:00pm and started at almost 8:50. I also found the show a bit disorganized.

Great and intimate concert! She did it again. Miami Dade County Auditorium is like a high school auditorium though.

What an amazing experience to listening to this woman sing live. Beautiful, delicate, strong and passionate are some of her strongest qualities! We were delighted to hear some of her old time hits, and medleys of people' choices!!! She is a real artist, with one of the longest list of hits in Latin America, an actress, host, writer and dancer... A true Diva!!! :-)
