Great venue, friendly staff, easy entrance with excellent security... can t say enough how wonderful everything & everyone was!

What an amazing weekend, everyone put in an awesome show

I love going to LakeShake! This year was a bit messy with all of the rain we got before the event, but turf was flown in from Florida so we didn't have to be in the mud. Everything was still wet, but no one minded. Drinks were quite pricey with a tall Smirnoff SMASH at $15. I'd recommend offering Twisted Tea next year. As with all festivals, the porter potties ran out of toilet paper and there was no one replenishing it. The lines took forever. This years line-up was amazing! I was not disappointed. I think signage outside of the venue could have been better. We couldn't figure out where to have Uber's pick you up after the show. The sign just said to request Uber W of Michigan Avenue, but we couldn't find any other signs after we went that direction. Overall, it was a great weekend. There are always ups and downs with any event, but we will definitely be back next year.

This was my boyfriends and I first year at lakeshake. The lineup everyday was simply amazing! I would totally recommend lakeshake to everyone of my friends. It was a great time all weekend! It s our new tradition! Thanks lakeshake! Only thing I would recommend would be by the stage to have a section close to the stage for people who pay more for the 3 day pass then just daily general admission.

LakeShake did a FANTASTIC job with their 3 day 2018 concert. They did not oversell the event like most venues do. It was not over crowded with made for a comfortable experience. Lines for vendors, restrooms, etc. were not long. They kept their restroom area very tidy with attendants in all trailer refreshing them often. The line up was amazing. The sound was great. Drinks were a little overpriced, but overall a wonderful experience!!

LakeShake is amazing! I m so happy that there is a country festival in the city of Chicago! The grounds are always clean and the staff is super friendly! I ve gone 3 years now and it s always a wonderful time!!

everything was great, nice and polite security staff bathrooms were very clean in my area for this type of event easy to navigate around event parked in the parking garage, price was fare, and surprisingly easy to exit after event. something that could use improvement, lawn chair area needs to be expanded, few more food selection would be great

Venue and music was awesome...only downside was lack of transportation after each night.

Every act was amazing but first the trolleys need to happen again back and forth from the train station. Also metea needs to add an 11:40 on Sunday s. People shouldn t have to wait for an extra 1.5 hours to get on a train. Uber s are expensive and so is parking at lakeshake.

Lake shake was very fun ! But, the mud problem needs to be fixed ! I lost my sandals there and ruined my shoes. This could be fixed by covering the crowd with a tarp to prevent getting rained on as well or using a different material on the ground . Overall, fun experience .

So happy they put astro turf down. There was still a lot of muddy spots but i can only imagine what it would have been like without the astro turf. The only negative i have is that if you have lawn passes you only get port-a-potty instead of the nice AC flushing toliets that they get in GA.

This was my first time every attending Lake Shake. The venue was great! I was amazed how close you could get to the stage. I will definitely be going next year!

Music was awesome! However, the taxi/Uber availablilty was a nightmare!

This was our second year of VIP at Lakeshake. We go to a lot of country festivals and though I always want this one to be better than it is, it s still a good time. We were the only ones sitting in our seats and they checked our bands to make sure we were supposed to be there, which is the right thing to do. My problem is that once the headliners went on our section became insane. Everyone who was not ticketed for our section care and started dancing and standing in front of us. We pay the insane amount of money for VIP because we don t want to be on the floor with the masses. We were in tow 4 last year and row 2 this year. I won t buy VIP again unless we can get in row 1 so people are not pushing in front of us. They even crawled up over the balcony from the other section. I really dislike the huge beers, I can t drink them before they are warm Even with a koozie, so overall it s a really frustrating experience for beverages. 25 oz beers are not fun and everyone in line complains about them. The signage needs improvement. Until you are steps away from the front of GA security you have no idea that there is a line for those without bags. VIP line isn t even marked, so the first day we stood in GA line even though we asked for the VIP line they said there wasn t one. Day 2 and 3 were great because someone said VIP over there. I don t understand why you can t buy daily VIP passes, Friday and Saturday were completely empty in our section, hence the reason they were jumping over the railing from the other section. But it would be nice to have the option to buy those passes, we would have brought friends. At least allow the passes to be single day bands like my favorite Country Jam. After all you don t really get anything included for VIP like other festivals. I don t understand why presale tickets for 2019 don t happen like other festivals? Music was great, artists did not disappoint and although this particular year the negatives outweighed the positives I am hopefully that advances in the right direction continue to happen.

Friday night was great! Saturday not so much! Too crowded, very muddy, Dierks was disappointing! Had a 3 day wristband but skipped Sunday night. Wished Sunday would have started and ended earlier! Best lineup on Sunday!

Artists play for just an hour. Pretty disappointing for the headliners. Blake Shelton was obviously intoxicated and didnt even play the prominent guitar parts himself.

This years show was AMAZING! Worth getting there early every day to see the early performances. LoCash, Lee Brice, Russell Dickerson, Chris Lane... SHOW STEALERS. Had a blast. I cannot wait for next year. Obviously the headliners of each day were perfect too. Thanks for a great Weekend LakeShake!!!!!!!

Overall great event and lineup. Definitely would do it again. The ground area was also a good experience.

LakeShake is an event I look forward to every year. The headliners are always great and Northerly Island is an amazing venue!

All the artists had so much energy the line up was awesome. You could hear and see from every part of the event. Cant wait until next year

I wish we could actually see the lake from the venue. It was so stinky and muddy because of all the rain. More air couches would have been nice but they ran out within the first hour we were there.

First and last time I will attend concert here. Not a fan of this venue AT ALL! Set up is horrible and while the weather is totally out of the venues control, the mud and smell from it was disgusting.

Had a great time!!! A bit of a soggy weekend, but they stepped up to the plate to make it a very enjoyable event.

I attended all 3 days of the recent LakeShake at Northerly Island in Chicago, Illinois. This was my third time and it didn't disappoint. Fabulous acts each and every day and a great venue!!

This was our third LakeShake as a family. The girls all come home and we go and have a blast every year. This year was no exception. The line up gets better every year. We love it. Someone has to address the drink cost though. It is officially ridiculous. Family of 4, 4 beers, $75 Come on people really. I understand up charge BUT THIS IS NOT RIGHT>

The Venue is way to hard to get out of after the show, be ready to walk a few miles to get any type of transportation out of there.

Good venue, good location, fairly easy to get to and from. No selection of ciders unless you only like Stella.

This festival is worth it. Yes things are expensive, but you won t be disappointed. The only thing I m doing different next year is buying General Admission tickets for all 3 days and not the Lawn Tickets. The lawn was very nicely maintained, but i upgraded to GA for Friday and I loved it so much more. It doesn t feel overly crowded when you re there and every line went by quickly. They had so many activities for everyone and even provided rain ponchos when there was a possibility for showers. Awesome show :)

Had a great time and only went Saturday but would have loved to have gone all three days, definitely returning next year! Great view of the city, water, and fireworks. Only negative was the long line to get inside!

Bought these tickets for my bf & his best friend. They had time to catch up & enjoy their favorite artists!

Beautiful venue. Lots to do. Great food vendors! Only complaint.....4 WILL CALL WINDOWS FOR HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WAS RIDICULOUS.

Can't see enough...the music line-up, the venue, the concessions, you name it...it was all spot on! I've been to a lot of music festivals and this was the best laid out venue. Gorgeous views of Chi-Town! Beer vendors right as you enter the gate? Genius! Hardly any lines...for anything! Music stages were spaced out great! Kudos to laying down the astro-turf on Saturday! We love you for that! Only negatives would be 13.00 bucks for beer but that's anywhere and would like to see RECYCLE containers everywhere or just label them cans. It was a shame how many cans were everywhere after the shows. We will see you next summer!

Concert was terrible it was one giant mud hole, it smelled like sewage everywhere waste of money also couldn t even see the stage from the green. Not sure why the would not have had this event at soldier field it would have been 100 times better

Awesome venue, cold drinks and perfect weather! Couldn t have asked for a better day. Great music from the Next from Nashville stage. Can t wait to see what next year brings!

The venue needs more exits because it too crowded.

This was our 4th year and the musical acts did not disappoint. What did disappoint was the marshy mess that the lawn has become. Great call for the promoter to truck in fake grass to cover the muck that was the lawn.However, the fake grass trapped the dying real grass underneath, resulting in an awful swampy, rotting vegetation smell in many areas. The promoter really had no choice in having to spend on this, as the lawn has become ever more popular and there as no way chairs could be set up in the muck, much less blankets or even to have people walk through it. Terrible that the promoter was forced to shoulder this expense. The City of Chicago needs to step in and fix this mess. It is their venue and it does not work when there has been a heavy rainfall. Also I wish the Next from Nashville was not so far in the back, as it was this year.

The concert was amazing but the set up of the locations for Lawn verses stage was confusing to me and my date. So we ended up upgrading to stage. If we would of known or had a better picture where stage and lawn so people know exactly what there purchasing.

Another amazing year at Lake Shake. I thought Blake's performance was not as good as he could have done. He walked off the stage before he was suppose to be done. It seemed like he wanted to encore to be done when he was suppose to be done.He didn't want to play any longer than necessary. Dierks, Cole and Florida Georgia were UNBELIEVABLE!!! Enjoyed all of them.

Exhausted from days and nights of absolute fun at my first Windy City Lake Shake!!! Money well spent. Can't wait until next year!

Love Lakeshake. we are 4 for 4 in attending and wont miss it. the bands are always great and the atmosphere is always awesome. The one thing I wish could be improved is crowd control. It does take away a lot from the show when people around you are making it a little less enjoyable

3 days of the best music, most beautiful looking people, and great memories!

This was my 3rd year, best year yet! Great line up!

They were able to mitigate the problems of all the rain we had. Ruined shoes aside, they went above and beyond trying to make it as tolerable as possible. That being said, I'm very glad we were in the VIP section and didn't have to deal with it all the time. This was our 3rd year and it wasn't a charm. The main stage had bands that should have been on the Next to Nashville stage. The last 2 acts of each night were GREAT. FGL put on a fabulous show. I was VERY disappointed in the amount of female acts available. There was only one female performer on Sunday and she was part of a duo on the Next stage. There are many more female acts available out there and I think they should make more of an effort to get them on stage. Even an act of the "older" female artists would be great. I'd see Dixie Chicks, Sara Evans, Reba, Faith, or really any from the late 90's early 2000's. I mean, you had Tracy Lawrence and he was that era. Heck, the final 4 acts Friday & Saturday were between 39 & 45. So the "older" female acts would be great too. Lastly, It appeared that more beer & liquor tents were put up and very few food tents. Food tents were definitely down this year.

I have gone to the event every year and this year was by far the busiest I have ever seen. The venue was great and we had a blast. One complaint, need more women s bathrooms. The suggestion I make is that the trailers behind the grandstand should have more women s restrooms.

This past weekend was an experience that I couldn t ever recreate. I ve never gone to a Feast/ Concert and had this experience ever, it was so fun!!! I will definitely go again. The only suggestion I would give is that wristbands are created for people over 21.

I m from Buffalo and went to the show with my high school friend who lives in Chicago. We had an awesome time!!! Venue was great. Food wasn t bad. People were very friendly. Going to go again!

Two stages featuring the best in country music all day long for 3 days. Plenty of free attractions between shows. Free water station. How many promoters would buy sod and fly it in from Florida to ensure guests with lawn passes had a decent lawn to sit on. Top class at LakeShake!

Placing an "Official Merchandise" tent directly in the center of the Lawn Seat area turning everyone attempting to sit in the rear of the venue into obstructed view seating was a monumental disappointment.

So this is our third year attending this festival. And as usual, this is the best way to see, hear and celebrate country music.

All the main stage artists were great, but Blake rocked it!!

Amazing atmosphere, convenience and music all in one Superb location in Chicago.

Amazing Show!!! I have gone three years in a row!! Absolutely love it every year!!

Had a blast with friends. Got tickets early so cost was not that expensive to see great acts. Turf laid because it had been raining & that helped a great deal. Did think beer was a little pricey & would prefer smaller servings as it gets hot quickly. Food options were great. Wished bathrooms weren t so far back from the seating.

We came from Louisville to see this music festival. We had a great time all 3 days even though it rained the first day. Most of the people there were pretty friendly we would definetly come back again. Might want to pack a few extra hundreds if you wanna do any drinking beer was outrageous at $13.75 $16 for Smirnoff and $13 for mixed drinks

all of the artists were genuinely talented and was a good chance to met fun people !!

I hate how they came up with this lawn seating just so they can get more money. You re all the way in back and can t really see anything, people are sitting everywhere so there s really no room to dance or they get annoyed and start yelling at you. I miss the old lake shake

If you go it s totally more worth going 3 days!!!! One day is unimaginable!!!

I can t believe the venue still has poor drainage system it rain one day but Sunday was beautiful. Still muddy.

Went to Lakeshake its first year a couple years ago & it was FANTASTIC - reasonable ticket prices, not overly crowded. This year seemed WAY too crowded in both stage & lawn area. Not enough portapotties. Tents in the middle of the view to the stage so blocked a lot of people from a good view, with not enough screens for people to see. Florida Georgia Line & Cole Swindell were AMAZING so the rest of the situation was disappointing especially because of the great experience a couple years ago. Now not sure if will go again for those prices. :(

Second year of going to lake shake. It s is the best. It seems it s getting bigger and bigger. Have the best singers there love the up and coming star stage. Chris lane cole swindle rocked it. Need more room in the ga section we were right by the stage. It was great. We can t wait to see who s up there next year already have a bigger group of people wanting to go next year

My friends and I went only to the Sunday show to see Florida Georgia Line. I have heard the other 2 shows were not nearly as crowded. The venue smelled like a barn. There was no toilet paper in the portable bathrooms. They oversold tickets. It was packed in the lawn. I felt like I had ZERO personal space. The mud...everything was covered in mud. I do understand with the weather leading up to the event that was unavoidable. However, they could have issued warnings on social media that any shoe you wear would be trashed. Puking young 20 somethings before 3pm. Garbage overflowing. Never again.

I loved Lakeshake but the lawn was waaayyy tooo crowded. And all the tents should have been back further to the back. There were a bunch that were totally in the way.

The concert and line up was awesome! I think they need to not allow people to sit in GA or st least uo front. It was annoying to get around and made for the crowded space way worse to navigate and get around. If people want to sit they should have the back area for that. Other than that super fun!! And more bathrooms for sure.

Great venue on the lakefront. The concert lineup was excellent. Lines for bathrooms, drinks and food were reasonable.

Everything was great !! The venue did what they could with the muddy ground . Just in fortunate.

Great lineup, fun people, good beer selection and food vendors, perfect atmosphere next to lake. The party crowd is most def in the lawn for sure!! General admission was perfect on Sunday when FGL hit the stage. Sad they ran out of Modelo so early and cashless bands didn t work properly, took forever to scan. Overall had a great time with friends and will return next year.

The whole weekend was AMAZING! Cole Swindell and FGL stoke the show!

Food and drinks very pricey but they did a good job on maintaining the venue with the rain we had Friday night .

I have been going three years now and can t wait for 2019
