Dale Bozzio

DALE BOZZIO IN CONCERT:'80s new wave pop icon Dale Bozzio has returned to the stage and ticket buyers will be thrilled to know she's as fierce as ever. Although she doesn't don the wickedly revealing outfits or the multi-colored hair that were once staples of her appearance, Bozzio continues to dazzle in person with delectably high-impact performances. Her voice is more measured than it once was, but it's just as strong, featuring the same high-pitched squeaks that made tunes like "Walking in L.A.

This was among the most enjoyable shows of all time. Gene Loves Jezebel was engaging, charismatic and a lot of fun. Dale Bozzio was amazing. Her music, her voice, her style . . . beyond words. I loved her in the 80s and love her even more now. Thirty years later she's still got the talent and the voice. However, she has evolved through the years and kept up. It's so refreshing to see a performer three decades later who is not trying to capture the same look and style she had back then.I admired her 80s style - in the 80s. Now I admire her as a woman with the confidence, intelligence and grace to be herself in this world of cosmetically cloned 50 somethings trying to look like 20 somethings. Most importantly, though, she is a true artist. Despite the years that have passed, the fashion trends, the evolving music climate - Dale's talent is unwavering. I will forever be a fan!
