Paul Kelly

One of my favorite artists gave one of my all time best shows. I've been waiting a long time to see PK with a full band again, and it was well worth the wait. We are lucky to have him tour the US with such a talented group and play such intimate venues. The Aussies may be a bit jealous.

Have seen him on virtually all of his US tours for about the past 20 years. Such a shame he's not more appreciated in the US as he is in his native Australia, he's one of the finest singer/songwriters in the craft. I'll be traveling to see several shows on the 2013 tour and you should too!

This was my first event at the Grammy Museum. The theater is intimate and very nice. The format was mostly an interview followed by a five-song musical performance, total time just over an hour. Obviously, this works best if the performer is articulate and has something interesting to say. Mr. Kelly definitely meets those criteria!
