Denver-local Mercuria & the Gemstars were superb, in their biggest show that I know of to date. Low, clearly an acquired taste that I hadn't yet, so, hmm. Interesting. I'll take Gem's drummer over Low's...any day!

This was the best Low show I've been to, and I've seen them about 8 times! Incredibly tight and emotive performance. Harmonies so rich you could scarcely believe it was two voices. Excellent setlist. One of the most emotional shows I've ever been to by any band.

I decided late to see Low, largely to spend time with a friend and experience the 6th & I venue and I felt very fortunate to have been at the show. The band was perfectly synchronized - musically and emotionally. And they were so humble and human. Don't miss any chance to see this band in an intimate setting.

Great band. The vocals and music are hypnotic at times. Very happy to have seen them in such an intimate atmosphere.

I've been listening to Low for about 10 years now, but I had never be able to see them live until now. This was the absolutely perfect show to see them for the first time; the setting was incredible and suits their musical style perfectly, and the setlist was all I could reasonably ask for when it comes to a band with a library as large as Low's. Sparhawk and Parker's voices were impeccable, and all the arrangements were familiar yet uniquely "live." I would do this again in a heartbeat. A+

Low had 3 members of another band playing with them. Low does not need any help. the xtra musicians on stage were distracting and added nothing. in fact the banjo player was positioned front and center essentially blocking my view of Mimi on drums. this was a huge blunder as the spotlight was often on Mimi for her lovely vocals. I and others near the a stage could not see her. I bought my ticket very early to secure a good seat which I thought I had until I arrived and was told all seating was general, so I had to rush in to find a decent seat which turned out to suck big time. all in all a miserable evening of music from one of my favorite bands.

Great show, the combo with Trampled by Turtles guys was a good sound that helped fill out many of the new songs. Good video shots behind them, just good overall experience.

Great, mystical show. 89.3 current's DJ was annoying though.

The show was really quite stellar. It was enjoyable to listen to their first set, after having listened to their new CD multiple times over the week. Their second set was devoted to their other music. Members of Trampled by Turtles, Ryan, Dave Carroll, and Tim were onstage and brought a poignancy to many of the songs. Ryan's violin often straddled the melancholic tones of Low. Great idea!

We had a wonderful time at the concert. The combination of the two bands was excellent and I enjoyed the new album. I plan on purchases as soon as I can.

Wow, this concert featured three members of TBT, and they were amazing. It was their 20th anniversary show hosted by Mark Wheat, and included a short interview half way through the show. The band members are not stellar for interviewing (kudos to MW for his efforts), many one word answers, but I guess that kind of fits the personality of their music - a little understated. They should seriously consider playing with a banjo, violin and keyboard more frequently. Created an awesome, vivid dynamic, and there was some fun interraction between the 6 people on stage. In terms of just Low, they have superior talent for live shows, the voices are gorgeous. She sings more in this new CD and it felt like a nice flow how they sang back and forth.

Low played an amazing set and sounded fantastic being accompanied by Trampled by Turtles members. We sat in the upper balcony in the first row, but still felt like we had a really good view of the band! This was our first experience at the Fitz and we had a great time!

The woman has a lovely, haunting voice. Why she doesn't sing lead on more songs like she does on the tune, Just Make It Stop. Her drumming is an insult to the paying audience. The band should add a drummer for diversity to their original repertoire. Also the trio needs to develop some stage presence. Are they having a good time?

This was an amazingly beautiful show, with stunning harmonies, tight arrangements and an overall solid performance from four true professionals. From the first song there seemed an inherent sadness to Low's music - "Nothing But Heart' was a hauntingly beautiful and building opening piece. And it just got better and better. Amazing that a simple snare and tom can add so much depth to a song. Subtle brilliance!

great guitar sound, ethereal harmonies...i was in heaven. its a shame this husband and wife duo haven't made more inroads into the pop music scene. but at least that means its easy to get a ticket/good seat to the concerts.

They were amazing live. Their voices were spot on. The only thing was they didn't play one old song during the entire set. I was hoping to hear some classics.
