Afrika Bambaataa

The concert was a lot more fun than I could ever imagine. All the performers gave 110% and would love to see them again!

I go to a lot of concerts, but this was one of the best I've ever been to. Never did I think I would actually get to see Newcleus, The Sugar Hill Gang, Tone Loc...etc. etc. etc. perform their biggest old school hits live!!! An amazingly fun night that had the crowd singing non-stop. Wouldn't be bad if this happened once a year!!!

I HAVEN'T BEEN IN A CONCERT IN A LONG LONG TIME AND THIS EVENT WAS FANTASTIC.

I really enjoyed the concert! The music took me way back down memory lane. This was a great treat for my 49th Birthday. I met a few others in my age group who were also celebrating birthdays. All of us in the pit had a good time!

My wife and I had a blast. I would go to this show over and over again. Thanks Rick Dees!

This was a fun concert. It was like a trip down memory lane, back to my childhood years. The sound system was great and every group that played was terrific. It is not very often that I start dancing in my seat at a concert. The day after, I was still kind of in shock that even at my age, I got to see the creators of hip-hop from the east coast. Everyone now must pay tribute to them, as they had a long road and a hard fight to bring this music to what it is today.

No Grandmaster Flash or Afrika Bambaataa! They didn't show. Notice the picture of Grandmaster Flash above used to promote the event! This show was nearly terrible from start to finish. Lackluster performances, terrible sound. The only highlights were Young MC and Doug E Fresh, the only two performers who seemed to have prepared to be there and bring some energy to their performances.
