Always a great time at a Bulldogs hockey game. I have never been disappointed

AMSOIL Arena is a great place to watch college hockey. It has a nice accessible concourse full of UMD hockey history. The concessions at AMSOIL Arena are light years better than Mariucci. Whether you're looking for a full meal, snack, or novelty treat, AMSOIL Arena has you covered. UMD has a spirited student section and they're fun to watch. Parking is the only issue of concern at AMSOIL Arena. There aren't enough access points to the parking ramp, so traffic gets slow and congested quickly. Overall, good affordable family fun.

I would definitely recommend this venue and event to any hockey fans I know.

The new arena is spectacular and it sure seems like there isn't a bad seat in the entire stadium, Even with seats in the upper deck and almost in the top row, it didn't seem like you were sitting way up in the nose bleed section. The new parking ramp was very confusing and congested when we arrived. It seems like some additional signage would help keep traffic flowing the right direction.

Great new little arena in Duluth! Free parking if you head to the Dub-lin for drinks before/after!

Sometimes being right on the glass is not a good view for down in the corners but this seat was good without distortion. Nice new arena. Also more leg room in first row.

I don't think there's a bad seat in AMSOIL arena. Had a great view from where we were in section 214, but had friends with extra seats in section 108, so we upgraded ourselves. The Bulldogs made up for their poor inaugural series by taking the Badgers to the cleaners.

Nice brand new arena, but a little congested in the walkway areas.

It was the last game in the DECC before the Bulldogs move to the new AMSOIL Arena. These games are always a blast because of the fans.

I've never seen any hockey game at pee wee, bantam, high school, ushl, ncaa, or professional officiated so poorly. Both of the teams fans were were surprised at the blown off sides, icing, and penalty calls. With scrub refs officiating UMD games, I won't be attending another there. The refs determined the outcome of the game, not the kids who played.

We ordered some tickets and then needed some more. Ticketmaster was very accomodating in finding us additional seats so we could still be one large group. We had a great time. The seating was tons better than we experienced while watching the Admirals. We could see everything, there were not heads in front of us to try and see around and the chairs were wider too. Room to be able to move your arms and enjoy your snacks. The cheerleaders were fun to watch. They made their way around the rink, cheering in the aisles and they let little girls cheer along side them. I especially liked it when they performed on ice skaes. The UMD students were boisterous and animated, a lot of fun to watch and hear, and were not vulgar. The band did a great job, played a lot of music that got us rocking, had a lot of pep. The commentator was full of enthusiasm and real. And lastly the game itself. UMD did an outstanding job, were quick and team players. The goalie had some awesome saves. UMD WON!!!

The kids love watching the bulldogs play hockey and this was not our first game. But we were disappointed with they way the visiting team was treated. The bulldogs won 6 -0, I think we could be a little nicer to a team that comes all the way from Alaska to play.

College hockey is great to watch and the UMD supporters were full of spirit!

The game was awesome. First Bulldog Gopher shutout since 1980. Bulldogs were on fire.

This game was awesome. We sat in section N row 1. GREAT SEATS,. I took my 6 year old daughter so she could see what it is all about. She is in her 3rd year of hockey. She had a blast. BULLDOG FANS NOW.

My entire family had an amazing time!!!!!!!! Can't wait to go to another game. Go Bulldogs!

very fun event i would recommond anyone who likes hockey to go see a bulldogs game.

It was my first UMD game and it was awesome! The fans were really into the game and that was great! I totally want season tickets now!

I love watching hockey and it is always fun to cheer on your home team! Well, college home team :)

First time being to the Amsoil, but having gone to other arena's for college hockey games, its a little smaller. Upper bowl tickets are prob better seats as far as views goes. The 6700ish stadium is a bit on the smaller size compared the the Ralph so a lot smaller area. Sure sounded like there were more SIoux fans there at times then Bulldogs. Another minus, getting a beer to watch the game? I guess Amsoil is alcohol free. You have to leave go downstairs to some place that looks like the basement of a frat party. Why didnt they just make a bar at each end like the Ralph or have vendors inside? Kinda wierd if you ask me. Oh well, good games overall. I would def go!

Thanks to the outstanding play of the UMD Bulldogs, I had a great time at the game!!

My wife and I brought our 2 year old son to his first hockey game and our first visit to the new arena. We sat in the 2nd row behind the glass and had an unforgettable night (final score notwithstanding)!!

The games were great, any time we get to see the Bulldogs is great, however, the seats in Section 221 and row 9 were the terrible. We sat on the rail and had to look down to see the game. If the people that had regular seats in front of us leaned forward, no one could see. these should be sold as standing room only, be casue we had to stand on the chairs just to see.

My family and I had never been to a hockey game before and had a blast!

i rated this event as average only because of the seats that we had,we had seats directly behind the alabama team . as long as the team was seated i was able to see but as soon as they got up all i saw was there backs, unfortunatly my 9 year old was unable to see any of the game. so watch where your seats are. the game itself was awesome.

The new arena is really nice and we ended up getting to watch the game from the Lounge. It was aweseome!

This was a great game, the bulldogs were awesome. Great energy, great atmosphere, and great seats. There aren't very many bad seats in the AMSOIL Arena, would have liked to be a little closer, but it was fantastic anyway.

Bulldogs hockey is always great. The AMSOIL Arena is easy to get in and out of and most of the seats are good. The price is great and we'll definately be back again.

The seats were unbelievable. We were right behind the Bulldog bench. I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. I guess with any event the lines for concessions were extremely long. Othere than that everything else was great.

The rink is like a mini Xcel Center! The corridors are wide, the seats comfy and good sitelines. The food isn't bad, but for the price I'd eat at my favorite eatery before attending.

I'm not a hockey fan, but I am looking into buying season tickets next year. I had a great time and love the new arena. Looking forward to next season!

Great game but the music during stoppage of action was way too LOUD! Arena is great place to enjoy hockey

The game was so much fun to watch but the new AMSOIL arena was the best part. You had a great view no matter what seat you got! And the crowd was mostly other good hockey fans!

The new rink is pretty awesome, Bulldogs fans were sour because the huskies played them well.

For those college hockey fans that love a great arena, you have to visit AMSOil. It's great place to watch a game. On the game itself, the Bulldogs came out slow like the night before but put up an nice effort and ended the game in a tie.

Always a good matchup! New arena was wonderful. Parking at the DECC was great-we got in and out without any problems.

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house! Amsoil is a great arena and an excellent addition to the DECC in Duluth! By the way, the arena offers bar-like food: Chicken strip basket, burgers, fries, Cold Stone Ice Cream!

facility was a bit above average. I exspected much more for the hipe and the monery spent. The parking was not user friendly. The signage for skywalks was poorly marked for someone to find there way.

Went there to see the new Amsoil Arena which was super! It was even better if you were a Husky fan because of the 8-2 score.

Game was awesome but I do not recommend the drink rail seats. They are on the same level as the last row of regular seats. So, when the people stand in front of you, you can't see unless you try to stand on top of your seat.

Same as the Friday night review. Nice building, great food, and a student section that puts the Twin Cities to shame. Hard to say that, but UMD has student support. Maybe if UofM had cheaper tickets, there would be more student support???? Guess, i'll leave that one to the administration,

Drove up from the cities to see the Gopher men's hockey team play in-state rival UMD at the new $70M Amsoil Arena in the Canal Park district of Duluth. The arena is a great leap forward as compared to the old DECC. Lots of food choices. The concourse around the main level was a little tight, but not bad. Restrooms were plenty with easy access.

Absolutely wonderful game! AMSOIL Arena is gorgeous!

By far, a much better arena than the DECC. More open, better food, and great lines of sight. I continue to find it interesting that other WCHA teams raise their prices when the U of M comes to town. It is also interesting that probably 500 fans were from the Twin Cities.

Last few minutes were exciting! Great college band - cheerleaders on ice - cheap parking ($4) - all seats had great view - food not overpriced - New arena is great and it was a fun night!

The new Arena is amazing offer wonderful views from all seats. The food is better and the bathrooms are much more effecient. You only have to wait maybe a minute or two.

Easy, but I was upset when I couldn't just swipe my credit card to get into the game. Had to sign into TicketMaster and my password was not working so got into the game a few minutes late and missed the first goal! :(

The game was amazing and so were our seats. Only issue was finding or way within the skywalk system. We ended up just following a group of people instead of truly finding the way ourselves

The game was great!!!, ticket master is so easy to use. They make it easy by letting you print off your tickets and bring them to the game. Super easy super customer friendly. I will use this service again and again.

When I booked the seats, it showed them as being on an end aisle...they were on an end, against a wall. Great view, but a pain to get in and out of, especially around Golden Gopher fans.

Overall, a decent game, close game that finished 1-1 & was decided in a shootout.

Seems too expensive for college games...even with the BOGO offer.

Great game, especially in the last half. Went into overtime and than a shoot out. UMD bulldogs lost, but it didn't make the game any less spectacular.

Watched my first game at Amsoil arena in Duluth. A valentine's gift for my wife. Fantastic facility. Good sight lines and great atmosphere.

The seats were amazing but the dogs played like absolute dog crap

Always enjoy the UMD hockey games! Been to 3 so far this year.

I took my 2 sons to the game and we had a great time. The stadium was really nice, the food was good, and the hockey was great. We will definitely be going back to root on the Bulldogs again.

Atmosphere was great and prices for food and sodas were reasonably priced.

It was a great game and an awesome experience. The UMD hockey team always puts on a great display of talent and teamwork. They have a tradition of winning and excellence.

We got bar rail seats, which sounded pretty good. However, when we showed up we got the worst bar rail seats in the whole entire arena. We were the bar rail behind the UMD band. Couldn't even see the game because the band stood the whole entire time. I was looking into the back of people's head. Absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe they even sell those tickets.

It was our first time at a college hockey game...Great game...very fun. Amsoil is super "big league". GO BULLDOGS!

Very exciting hockey game. Seats were great except for certain times when the teams were close to the glass at the opposite end of the rink but on the same side of the rink as me. (Like at the opposite end but along the left hand side wall/glass) It was hard to see the players as they looked blurry.

excellent game and venue for watching. Looking forward to another game. I love the "Bird's Eye view to see the plays develop and this was great. If you want ice cream you better get in line EARLY!!!!!!

UMD 6-0 Good seats, Great Company. Not a bad seat in the Amzoil Arena

First chance we had to see Univ MN-Duluth men's hockey at Amsoil Arena. Despite UMD losing the game, the game was a blast. Also purchased tickets through ticket master and printed on sheets of paper and had absolutley no-trouble getting in. The site is very safe and would use again.

2011 National Champs!! Nothing better than watching the dogs beat up on teams at Amsoil.

Game was great but seats were not. They were at the drink rail. 216 row 9. At first they seemed good, but when people sat in front, we couldn't see the ice. The drink rail is set too far back and you can't see.

Can't beat the energy level of a college hockey game. Amsoil Arena is a great venue - we enjoyed the game... go Bulldogs!

I was only 1 of 6000 that had the visiting team sweatshirt on. Nothing ill was said to me. It might have helped that my team, the visitors, lost both games

The seats were great considering we waited until the last minute to purchase them.

Great view from our seats! The arena is really nice and the team always puts together a great game.
