Was an incredible show-heard many many songs I grew up with and loved and a few new ones as well!!!!

These guys are Masters. Great show with some great Old Triumph favorites and a fantastic display of their skill.

7th time I've seen Rik and Dave. Great show, Fun, great classics played and some new stuff too. 2 of the best guitarists I've ever seen.

Triumph was one of my favorite bands when I was in high school. Seen them at the US Festival in 1983 and played Allied Forces all summer long when I first met my bf, who is now my hubby of many years. That album was a significant part of my life back then and Rik Emmett took me way back! I got teary eyed and had the chills for a few songs! Wish Triumph would come back and play all of their hits! Dave Dunlop was great too, but I was so amazed at how flawless Rik's voice was after all of these years! Great show and venue was great!

Excellent guitar playing! Highly recommend this show. The last 2 shows before this one was Eric Johnson, then Al Di Meola, and this one is right up there with both. Along with Rik, Dave Dunlop is an incredible talent.

Rik was outstanding as was Dave Dunlop.He was suffering from vertigo and never missed a beat.Hope he can return soon.

Rik Emmet played to a capacity audience last Saturday night at the Duck Room in St. Louis. I haven't seen Rik in almost 30 years since his days with the Canadian power trio TRIUMPH. The show was amazing, Rik played many classic Triumph songs as well as newer solo cuts spanning his entire career. Rik shared many personal stories throughout the performance, offering a look behind the music, and a storyline about many of the tunes. I was completely blown away at the level of proficiency the Rik Emmet trio performed. Rik still sings like he did 30 years ago and hasn't lost a thing! I highly recommend seeing the Rik Emmet trio to any Triumph fan or music lover.

Rik always rocks my socks off! Wish Triumph would get back together that would be the ultimate shoe!

Rik Emmett's concert was wonderful. He can sing, but WOW, can he play. Don't miss an opportunity to see him perform live. You will quickly appreciate his gifts. How great that he shares them with us!

Great acoustic show. Rik plays a selection of old Triumph songs, a couple of covers and some of his newer material. Very entertaining.

If I wanted to see Triumph songs butchered this way, I would have gone to a lawn fete instead. My wife and I walked out after 1 song. Gave our 3rd row tickets to a stranger in the casino. This was not billed as an acoustic performance on ticketmaster. What a waste of over $100. I saw Rik Emmett in Lockport 2 years ago and he was great. Next time he does acoustic, he should not try to perform Triumph!!!

I have seen Rik's accoustic shows in the past - I've always favored this style of show and Rik did not disappoint. The venue was perfect for an intimate show and was especially nice for me to see him there since it was a consideration for his 2000 accoustic show which ended up at the Tralf in Buffalo NY. He is by far one of my all time favorite guitarists and showed his true talents Friday night. The show was marketed as an accoustic night of Triumph...and more. Rik certainly pleased the Triumph fans in the crowd (including myself), but I must admit it's the ... and more part that I am most fond of including the story telling and post Triumph music. The only way he could have made the show better would have been to play an hour or two longer: )

Intimate setting, unforgettable talent, hilarious commentary! Will never forget it!

Tremendous performance by an incredible talent. Dave Dunlop also performed with Rik and the two of them feed off each other. Two of the best guitar players out there.

Beautiful venue. Intimate setting. Loved it. The show was entertaining, funny, and filled with unbelieveable talent.

I bought the tickets because my wife was a 30 year fan of this man. I knew of him and loved Triumph but to see this guy in person was absolutely incredible. Not only was he entertaining but his guitar playing is phenomenal. It was absolutely stunning to see him play. His partners were also exceptional and Dave Dunlop is a genius for working with this man. Their love for music and especially the guitar is so apparent in their playing. I left amazed and inspired!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been to dozens of concerts in my day but "Three Clouds Over the Moon" was the ultimate concert moment of my life.!!! Thank you Rik! I could go on for hours but suffice it to say I am now a HUGE fan and I hope I have many more opportunities to see Rik. I highly recommend this to any 1970-1980 rock fan that appreciates music and wants to see what I believe to be the best in the business.

I have seen Rik Emmett several times and this was one of the best shows ever. His guitar playing is magnificent and his interaction with the audience is one of a kind. He played a mixture of old classics and new favorites. I could have listened for a few more hours!

Rik and Dave tore up the steel and nylon strings in true virtuoso style Sunday night at the Magic Bag.

When I bought the tickets they were for my husband who is a big fan of Rik Emmett (made me the best-wife-ever!). I didn't think I would be going to the show, but I did. I am really glad too, I have seen alot of shows this year and after the Black Crowes I decided that unless I have every album (not just the first) for a group I would not go because I would not know any songs. But Rik Emmett's show was amazing! Even though I didn't know the songs they were very easy to enjoy and his stage presence was really inviting. The venue was so intimate, it felt like I was sitting in his basement and him and Dave were just jamming for a couple of hours.

Rik Emmet is extremely talented and I would highly recommend seeing him if you get the chance. Back in the 80's, I was a big Triumph fan but never had the opportunity to see them live. Seeing Rik in such an intimate setting was just wonderful. I was hoping he would do more Triumph songs but, having said that, his show was amazing. After all, Rik Emmett was Triumph. His vocals were spot-on and his guitar playing was near perfect. At first I was apprehensive about this guy Dave Dunlop, who I knew nothing about, but he and Rik are a perfect duo! The only thing that could have made it better is if I could have met him. I hope he comes back soon!!

Rik and Dave are true professionals - phenomenal guitar players who truely enjoy playing. Don't see this show if like lip synching, mindless dancing, stupid costumes, political narratives and outrageous ticket prices. Best twenty bucks I ever spent !!!!!
