Tony Hadley

It was a small crowd, and that made this show even more better. The tempo of the show was great. And, the Spandau Ballet stuff he did was like a great old friend saying hello. It brought back many memories and it seemed his voice was still as great as I remember it back in the 80's in Irvine.

Loved the show, this should come back again, maybe more of a lineup and start it earlier. The only thing I didn't like was the constant smell of pot being smoked throughout the event. This has happened before during another outdoor event and I'm unsure as to why security or the police aren't doing anything about it, especially as it's illegal to smoke this anywhere accept in the privacy of your own home.

Great night , in a great location with fantastic music and singers with great weather to top it off

I had my doubts but they were unfounded. The whole line up was great and they sounded better now than the 80,s. A must see show !

I have been to many concerts and would not do this one again. It was average to say the least. The performances were hit and miss. Would have been nice to see some of the more famous acts in the middle than leaving them way to the end. Left before they even performed

I had such an amazing time! The music was gr8, the crowd was alive and the nite was perfect..Who could ask for anything more?

Ok, First of all the artist were awesome. Berlin was by far my favorite however I have always loved them. It was a very hot day and the heat was causing havoc to the electronics on the stage making it difficult for the artists to do their thing with failing equipment. I'm not sure if I want to assign blame for this because I am not in this business so I do know if the heat related problems were preventable. After about 7pm the problems were not noticed by me. There were plenty of clean bathrooms and the staff were all very friendly. We did not eat any food there so I cant speak to that. But I have 2 complaints..... First. I could not find a clear list of bands that were going to perform. I bought the VIP section tickets anyway hoping for the best. I think Worldone could have done a better job with this. I think the advertising of this show was less than average. Second, We purchased the "Meet and Greet" back stage passes. This was no more than an opportunity to get your picture taken with some of the artists. MCs through out the concert advertised that Meet and Greet tickets can be purchased for $100. We were with the artists for 30 seconds, long enough to get a picture, and then shuffled off to get the single picture, then sent on our way. We were not allowed to use our cell phones for additional pictures and we were not allowed to stay

The start time was prompt and the coordination of different artists were smooth. The artists were great!

Cutting Crew and Wang Chung were the best!!! They sang live, no audiotrack, and sounded wonderful! You can tell they enjoyed entertaining the audience and they love what they do!!

Having Tony Hadley as the "closer" was a poor choice, guests walking out, everyone sitting, just a bad two hit wonder. When you have Missing persons, and Berlin in the house..... No contest who should have closed the venue. Hadley can sing, but I don't think I've ever been to a concert where the leading act sang another groups song to fill time. Pretty sad. His sound now is fitting for a Vegas Lounge act, nothing to do with 80's music except for the one hit they played. Get Howard Jones back, or any of the other popular 80's bands that were not one or two hit wonders. I wouldn't have bought tickets this year, but Missing Persons, and Berlin brought us back.

Really fun event even though it was record heat outdoors. Was disappointed to see Wang Chung had a different lead singer. Berlin and Tony Hadley were awesome and Dale Bozzio never disappoints.

Bands were excellent. Looked great & sounded great - when the sound was working. There were SEVERAL technical issues at this venue. You could see the frustration in the artist's faces.

This year was spectacular, and although the heat was bad initially, the concert was better than last year. Lots of good music, and its already on my list for next year.

Tony Hadley has a phenomenal voice and he did not disappoint. I did miss the rest of the guys from Spandau Ballet, but it was great hearing some Spandau songs along with others like "With Or Without You."

I went to see Tony Hadley at The Canyon on August 20th and was blown away by him! He sounds absolutely fantastic and the THBand is awesome!!!! They are a complete package and you will never be disappointed if you see him! He sang a lot of Spandau Ballet songs and did covers of some of his favorite singers. Tony Hadley puts on a beyond worthy pay top dollar kind of show! AND, he really sings and the band really plays, not like the drivel that is out there now with the lip-synching garbage called music now. You will be thoroughly impressed with Tony! The Canyon was a fun vibe too! The staff is very attentive and courteous and just plain fun!!! The food was really good. Had the rib-eye steak and it was done just the way I asked! Thank you to everyone who made this show possible!!!

Its been some 30 years since the peak of Spandau Ballets fame but you'd never know that as Tony's voice sounds better than ever! He played a lot of the hits you'd expect to hear (True, Gold, Round and Round, etc) but with a few great covers such as Queens "Somebody To Love" which can only be puled off by a hand full of singers with FANTASTIC vocal range! Tonys band is excellent and they sounded great! Only complaint would be the volume..very loud to the point where it sounded distorted on high vocal parts (please use a compressor soundman). Tony was gracious enough to come out after the show and meet and greet with the fans..every last one of us! Cant say enough about the performance and show he put on...DONT MISS THIS SHOW!!!!!

I have saw Tony in concert a number of times and he was just excellent as usual. Great voice and great entertainer..

So last Saturday night I happened to be in Las Vegas....won a pool tournament to get there, got knocked out pretty quickly and went to the Golden Nugget for a private party....we spilled out into the streets and had a few beers with some lovely background music from the 80's. During a lull in conversation (or it could be that everyone just gulped at once) I paid attention to the song...someone sounding like Tony Hadley singing a Duran Duran song. I said to my American friends...doesn't that sound like Tony Hadley? Or course no one in the 8 person group knew who I was talking about....when I explained he was the lead singer of Spandau Ballet only 1 knew the band. I found the stage (actually right in front of us) and took a peak....wow he even looked like Tony Hadley dressed in a suit in (in what had been a 110 degree day)....so I turned to my friend and said...."wow he even looks like Tony" it wasn't until about 20 seconds later I saw the massive flashing sign above his head TONY HADLEY OF SPANDAU BALLET....of course I freaked out....and ran to take pics...anyway....long and short of it....he did a fantastic job....sounded AMAZING and just like how he did in the 80's! I screamed so loud I could hardly talk the next day! Then again it could have been from drinking beers through a straw in a football like container.....ONLY IN VEGAS!!!!!!

Tony Hadley was totally amazing he has an outstanding and powerfull voice. Awesome show Tony!!!!!Come back to the US again.
