Jack Ingram had the house rocking at Joe's Bar on Weed Street. Playing for around two hours he mixed some of his better known hits, with some new favorites. At all times he stayed connected with the audience, a crowd of around 300+. Playing at Joe's, a more intimate setting for crowds, Jack was able to basically walk into his audience and give them that personal feel, that you just don't get at the huge venues. His mix of county, and classic rock beat, made his songs lively, without that twang sound some of other country bands play with. His final song "Love You" brought the house down. I would reccomend this show, and if possible, see Jack at a smaller venue like Joe's Bar, it makes the experience a whole lot more enjoyable

Over all the Jack Ingram's performance was very good. One point I did not care for was him taking shoes from the audience and signing them...yuck! If you saw some of those shoes, you'd say the same. But I have to comend Jack for going forward and not disappointing his fans who wanted the autograph. I did like the way he continued to move across the stage so all could see. I liked the way he gave credit to the guys behind him....always a plus, cause no one singer is all there is to making the music. The music was great, but unfortunately like most concerts, the pounding and buzzing comming from the speakers made it very difficult to hear and understand the actual words to the songs. I don't know about anyone else, but I go to concerts to not only see my favs, but to hear them.

Beautiful evening in Waverly, Iowa with a full moon ..... out door venue to see Jack Ingram was perfect. It was a small town "county fair" feeling with a big name artist. Jack didn't seem to mind if he was playing for 200 people or 20,000 people. He put on a great show!!! His band members were entertaining and the entire set list was fun, energetic, and Jack, truly hit it out of the park!!!! Afterwards, people could go back-stage to meet him with their "Jack Pack" and he signed autographs. He's a nice guy, and I would definitely go see him again!!!

Jack Ingram and the Beat-Up Ford Band put on a great show at the Bremer County Fair in Waverly, Iowa last night. Jack played a great mix of classics from past cd's and new tunes from his upcoming cd. He really got the crowd rockin' with Barefood and Crazy. Every song was great. He started out strong and the energy only increased throughout the show. The classic Goodnight Moon closed the show, as a full moon shined down on the audience. It was a beautiful night, great crowd and an awesome performance by one of the best country musicians. Don't miss a chance to see him LIVE!!

Jack Ingram's concert at the Bremer County Fair was awesome. He did a great job. It's just too bad there wasn't more of a crowd for him to perform to. He made it a fun evening. The opening band Outlaw Junkies set up the stage for a great show. They also did a very good job.

This venue is beautiful and small enough to have that cozy intimate feeling to it. Jack performed his hits and new material and told stories that had the audience rolling with laughter. He is such a happy guy and so enthusiastic that you just can't help but be smiling through it all. For example, in preparation for "Barefoot and Crazy" he hopped around taking is his boots and socks off, and encouraged everyone to have fun. We all had a great time. He told stories of how his music first got radio air-play and you could feel his excitement. I have seen Jack many times (every chance I get) and he is always worth seeing, but this show was really electrifying!! You just have to go see him!!!

This was my first time seeing Jack Ingram at an acoustic show (my third JI concert overall). While I knew he would put on a good show, I really surprised at just how good it was. Jack sounded great! Some artists can't hold their own without a full band and sound effects, but he really showcased his voice (along with his sense of humor and song writing ability). Not only did he sing to us and chat with us for an hour and a half, but he also signed autographs and took pictures with fans after the show. His shows, including acoustic ones, are so full of energy, and I will definitely be attending his concerts in the future.

Something I didn't realize from seeing his shows with his band and even listening to his CD's was, what an excellent musician Jack is...he is a writer with a way with words that touches and delights, but his guitar work is also excellent. He stood up in front of the audience for almost two hours and played beautifully, masterfully, effortlessly, and with a sense of fun and sheer love of the music. My appreciation of Jack was renewed and expanded. And as an added bonus he has a great sense of humor, and was so comfortable with his storytelling and interaction with the audience...it all just added to the whole show. Now, when I listen to his CD's, I also know where the origin of the song came from and it all comes from his life and his experiences. I won't miss a chance to see him again, and for anyone who loves music well-played, and words well-written, and someone who loves to share it all with the listener, I recommend seeing Jack Ingram.

Jack Ingram has done it again! With his acoustic tour underway, Jack wowed the audience last night at the Fine Line in Minneapolis, MN. Doing anything from his old songs like "Fool" and "Additude and Driving" to newer ones like "Barefoot and Crazy" and "Seeing Stars", Jack was flawless. He kept the mood light throughout the night by cracking jokes but still managed to keep love in the air for Valentines Day. It was a lot of fun!

The cover band was awesome, but when Jack Ingram took the stage there were too many people just standing on the dance floor (not dancing) and the music really took a turn for the worse....Jack seemed more interested in two girls dancing together than entertaining the crowd, and lost his place more than once (even left the stage sounding like the show was over when it was only half done). He missed the midnight countdown to 2010 and ad-libbed a few minutes after midnight ... didn't fool us, we were late for the door by the time his show ended....probably won't be back to cowboys for another NYE party!

I thought I had better seats in B1 and crowd noise was high and could not hear him when he was talking. Jack is wonderful as usual. Saw him at Southern Junction many years ago and then at opening of Opera House in Arts District in Dallas. Then at Windstar on Halloween and again last night. My friend I took had never seen him and she loves him too now. He is handsom and his smile lights up the room. Just wish he would have played "Stars", named my new dog after the song, Star. I cannot wait to see Jack again, just wish I could meet him but I would be star struck and probably not know what to say.

Jack Ingram took the stage with the classic "My name is Jack Ingram and I play country music" Played for about an hour and a half tearing through many old singles as well as his newest "Barefoot and Crazy" He brought a rock star type energy to the stage, but presented himself as a very down to earth, could have a beer on a tuesday after work kind of guy. Overall, the price of the ticket was well worth the value. Would (will) go again if he's back at Joe's.

What a GREAT lineup! Randy Montana did a phenomenal job pumpin up the crowd for the rest of the night. LOVE his voice and he's quite the talented song writer, too. Looking forward to MANY more shows from him! Steel Magnolia definitely showed why they won CMT's 'Can You Duet?' this season. Insanely talented artists right there. Then there was Jack. He has SO much energy and kept the crowd engaged through the ENTIRE show. From shakin hands to signing shoes to navigating INTO the crowd-the guy never stopped moving. He was not ashamed of his faith and he also took the time to honor our soldiers. He is definitely the complete package. Joe's Bar is an awesome spot! They do a great job of running the place. Staff is very friendly and the venue is just the right size. Oh, yeah, and they handed us free tickets to future shows when we walked in the door. My first trip there, but definitely won't be my last!

I have been a fan of Jack Ingram since the 90's when "Flutter" came out but have never had the opportunity to see him live. He was always part of the cool Alternative Country seen in Texas with the likes of Pat Green & Charlie Robison. It looked disappointing at the start as most of the temporary bleachers setup were empty. Crowd was small due to the bad weather, cool & rainy and possibly the fact that people are not used to getting big name artists at the Bremer County Fair. Jack Ingram is a pure entertainer, loves the spotlight and loves to sing. He told a story about each song & was great at getting the crowd involved, especially during the "Barefoot & Crazy" song where he too got barefoot & a little crazy & encouraged the crowd to do the same. Jack sang his version of the Hinder song "Lips of an Angel" talking about how if that was you in that situation it doesn't make you a bad person. Crowd seemed to know every word of that one so he let them sing it. Next up was "Barbie Doll" song which I have always liked & he linked it to the previous song saying a Barbie Doll is that pretty girl who will steal a guy away & has no heart, no soul. Seemed pretty passionate about this song. He also made several references to the two or three Fair/County Queens & Princesses in the front row noting that while they were pretty girls he was sure they had heart & soul & would never do what this "Barbie Doll" has done. He sang "Measure of a Man" as a tribute to his Dad which he noted had a birthday today & dedicated it to the troops fighting overseas. One of the best performances came at the encore which he repeated the current hit "Barefoot & Crazy" & best song of the night in my opinion the singalong song "Love You!" There may have been a small crowd there for his concert but he made sure each one of us had a good time. I should also note his left-handed guitarist that goes by "Frenchie" seemed to have his own fan club in the audience and wowed us with his picking skills. Good time had by all. Those of you who sat home worried about rain missed a good one! As Jack said at the end of his how for those of you who don't dig his music "Love You!".

Although he remembered all the words to the songs I doubt he will remember being in Las Vegas. Jack was in rare ( I hope) form, dropping his guitars and forgetting the names of band mates, insulting the audience but he seemed like he was having fun. Unfortunately at the expense of the people he is supposed to be close too. Hope you figure it out jack and get it together

Loved the stories he told as a build up to some of his songs; especially loved the one where he and the Beat up Ford Band listened for weeks and weeks to the top 40 until Measure of a Man hit #1! I have attended several country concerts at Showcase Live and have enjoyed each one. The intimate atmosphere of this venue makes it an unforgettable experience every time. This event, however, did not live up to the expectations that have been set by prior concerts. I've heard from others who have seen Jack Ingram that he is great in concert, but this concert was honestly much different that I anticipated. It was not made clear that this would be a dinner show where the entire general admission area in front of the stage was filled up by tables. Also, the energy level was low because the entire show was acoustic. I can appreciate an acoustic concert if it is made clear that that's how it will be. Overall, I wouldn't say that it was a terrible performance, just disappointing due to the lack of band and not having been notified of the dinner show style.
