Brenda Lee

She continues to be Little Miss Dynamite even at age 73!

Her show lasted a little over an hour. She sang 18 songs and talked with the audience a lot. She was very grateful for all the years she has preformed. I'm a "BIG" fan of this lady and was disappointed after the show she did not come out to meet her fans and sign autographs. We drove 7 hours there, spent the night, and drove 7 hours back to Memphis, TN. This was a huge expense for a retired couple but its was worth it. She will be 72 years old in December and she can still "Rock Around The Christmas Tree". But the way, that was the last song she preformed.

This lady who is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame AND the Country Music Hall of Fame is still going Strong at 70 years old. Her voice was still great and since she had been singing since age 11 that is remarkable. She sang most of her hits and interacted with the audience and was down to earth. She and her back up group and the band worked so well. If you have a chance to see her please do as you will not regret it.

Brenda was amazing. Her voice is the still the same. She also engaged the audience with stories and by inviting some people up to the stage to join her in christmas carols! Definitely worth the 500 mile trip!

miss Brenda was dynamite, her voice still the best ... the boys in the band were rockin' ... the backup singers were exceptional ... and the people of Seneca Allegheny were gracious hosts ... this was the best show i have ever experienced ...

I haven"t been to a concert an years and I was looking forward to seeing Brenda Lee she was excellent. I would reccommend this to any one who is 50 yrs and above. Very entertaining glad I went. Jeannie

Her voice quality remains as I remember from the early years. She also told some funny jokes and I thought was very down to earth. She gave a brief summary of her career as well. She sang the oldies as well some holiday favorites. I highly recommend seeing her perform.

I went to the concert with my wife and sister. Brenda Lee has always been my sister's favorite female vocalist and we were thrilled to find that she'd be doing a concert within 2 hours of our home in western NY. The concert flowed well and she did many of her numerous hit songs. There were moments where she spoke to the audience expressing her gratitude for the life she's had and thanking the audience for making it all possible. She recognized the troopsj, the veterans and a number of people in the audience that she's known for years. She did many Christmas songs and involved the audience in those as well. Over all it was a very satisfying concert. While it is clear she's lost a little off of her voice of years ago (to be expected) she still sang very well and put lots of emotion into the performance. The band was also excellent. The over all performance was both warm and inspiring. The real pleasure came after the concert when she came to the concert momento tables and signed anything and everything anyone put in front of her. Through it all she chatted openly with everyone and it was almost like a bunch of old friends sitting in her living room. I just can't imagine getting that at a concert of any of the current stars. She encouraged a number of people to email her regarding things they discussed while she was signing their CDs, books, pictures, etc. She simply could not have been nicer. It was an overall amazing experience; one I won't forget.

Coming from Ohio, I had concerns about the weather. Am so glad I went. Brenda Lee was just like I remembered from when she started. Caring, an honest entertainer. She even cried when she sang Christmas songs. Had the audience really participating a lot. I am just a little older than her and am amazed she still has the same vitality. She has energy, her voice is still there, her personality really came through. Having her grandson was a plus. I sang all her hits right with her. Brought back all the same good memories from when we were both "younger". Thank you so much for having her. You can do that anytime. I will be there. It was a shock to see how these young singers have gotten so old, but the show was a lot of fun and she still could sing Rockin Around the Christmas Tree and I'm Sorry like she was 12 again.

The show was great, it was a full house and it took more than 15 minutes to seat everyone after the initial opening of 8pm.... Brenda is a true Living Legend, in very good voice, loved her songs and she is very funny. She could do stand up comedy... It was better than going to a Lady GA GA show. She was also playing that night but I thing we got the better of the two shows........

We had stage-side seats for this concert that we've wanted to see for years. We were not disappointed. She sang all of the songs she's famous for, told a few jokes and was thoroughly enjoyable. Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Would go to see her again in a heartbeat. We'd really love to see her at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA.

She sang most of her hits as a medley which was disappointing; we wanted to hear the whole song. Less jokes and more singing!

We had so much fun at Brenda Lee's show. She still sings really well and interacts with the audience + has audience participation. She was very personable and told us several things about her life and career.

This was one of the best shows I've seen, and believe me, I've see quite a few.

First, when I bought the ticket it was not advertixed as a s christmas show. I expected a lot more of the old Brenda Lee. Sweet nothing I didn't even recoiginze, Had the audicence sing about 34 songs,.,.,. I paid to her the audience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then, she told jokes... I just bought tickets for Ron White... I expect HIM to tell jokes, not Brenda Lee.. She had to sit for most of the performance. Very; disappointed.

What a great show! Brenda interacted with the crowd and gave a memorable performance.

The show was really good. She is a really wonderful entertainer. I grew up listening to and dancing to her music. The only complaint I can think of is the show was too short. We could have listened to her all night. This was our first time in the Mari and I was disappointed that our seats were on the floor( Section 6). I thought the area we were in was going to elevated. Now I know that if I go back I will get seats in a higher row. I also thought the screens do not have a very sharp image.

This was so wesome, she still looks and performs likeapro. Brings back many memories. Thoroughly enjoyable!!!!!!

This show really took us back to a much earlier time in life. What a terrific lady and wonderful performer.

Brenda did a remarkable performance. She is so down to earth, family oriented, funny, sincere and had most of us living back in the 60's. Her voice was tremendous. She performed for over one hour without even taking a sip of water or a break. This amazed my wife Margaret and me. Who would ever believe that, as she revealed, she was 64 years old. "What A Woman"!!!!!!! We traveled over 200 miles to see her perform and would do it again in a heart beat.

Little Miss Dynamite has still got it! Great performance! Loved every minute of it!

Didn't go to a concert to hear rehashed jokes or here about everyone in her family. Will not go to her concert again.

Brenda was really great and can still deliver a great song. Enjoyed her humor and information about her family. Loved the show and would like to say "Thank you, Brenda".

Just being able to see Brenda Lee perform live was a treat. Our second row seats were wonderful and the price was extremely reasonable. Brenda was personable with the audience. She actually pulled up a chair and talked to the crowd for several minutes. Many of her hit songs were performed in medly format. She also was somewhat a comedian....with several jokes. I would like for her to have sang more of her hits all the way through. Due to her slow southern voice....her talking took up much of the singing time.

At the young age of 69, and having a remarkable career, Brenda Lee was as down to eart and sweet to her crowd as anyone could have wanted. Her voice is still good although not as strong as when she was in her prime. Her band is great and her song selection was super. Overall a wonderfull show that we are glad we took the time to go to.

Enjoyed very much. Didn't expect her voice to be as strong as it was 20 years ago, but she did a good job. She is still just as perky as she has always been. Would recommend the show to anyone wanting to stroll down memory lane.

Brenda Lee took me back to so many good memories! She was personable, and so wonderfully entertaining. What a spitfire!

OUTSTANDING ,REALLY ENJOYED BRENDA'S PERFORMANCE AND PERSONALITY .

Her voice was scratchy. She sang less than half of the 1 hour and 15 minute performance. She spent the rest of the time talking. She talked about herself, her parents, her kids and her grandkids. She acknowledged a lot of special people in the crowd. She had one special couple come up to the stage and she talked to them for a while. She invited her grandson to come on stage. After about two minutes of begging he came on stage and said "hi". She told jokes badly. She told six Catholic jokes in a row of which two were definitely sacrilegious.

Brenda Lee is a wonderful entertainer. She tells great stories, is personal, sings her favorites, laughs at herself and her history and has lots of stage energy. I'd definitely see her again!!

She was very good and she made the audience feel very welcome. She told funny jokes and sang all the songs we came to hear. I have the same birthday as she and have wanted to hear her for some time. Really enjoyed it and would go see her again

I was very excited to see Brenda Lee as I had seen her as a child and it brought back so many memories to me. She is almost 70 so of course I did not expect her to look or sound like she did so many years before, but she came close. She still has that raspy voice but of course, like most artists, she cannot hit the notes she used to. However what was very annoying was that she sat down and talked and talked and talked. I enjoy a little banner or info from an artist, but she told all about how she got started, where her kids went to college, and on and on and on. Then when we knew every minute of her history, she started telling jokes. She did not tell one or two or three: she told numerous jokes. She sang very few songs and unlike some performers, she definitely has a huge catalog of number one hits. I was disappointed not in the quality of the show or her voice, but in the lack of actual singing. If she is unable at her age to put on a show, then she should team up with someone else to share the show or she should stop touring altogether. I was happy I saw her, but really disappointed in what I did not hear.

I really enjoyed Brenda Lee's show and my wife said it was the best show she had ever seen in her entire life. It was so real and we felt it as our life and very close to her.

No lip synching here! It was all Brenda Lee. Still has great energy. Band was great, too. Greeted her fans after the show.

Brenda Lee sang some of her old favorites and entertained the us with many funny stories. She can still can belt out a song and keep you entertained. Her back up singers and band were very good. She brought back memories of our teenage years when music was understandable. She is down to earth and respectful of the people who support her. Many times she mentioned the troops and her love for the United States.

Brenda was straining some, but it was an awesome show. A real sweet lady sitting in the VIP section had 2 extra seats and came and invited us down to the second row. What a wonderful woman

She can't sing anymore. She has a gravelly voice when trying to hit the high notes. Her voice just doesn't sound good anymore. She did a great job with entertaining the audience but poor singing ability offset this part of the show. I would not go see her again.

Enjoyed this concert very much. The old songs brought back many great memories.

Enjoyed the show a lot. The short medley of her million sellers was disappointing as this is what we came to hear. The chit chat and joke time was a little too long. But we came to see and hear Brenda Lee and she gave us 1 hour and 20 minutes of her best. She can still sing great. She came out after the show to sign autographs and take photos Thank you Brenda.

My mom and Aunt and I had the time of our life. Brenda put on a great show. Really like the way she interacts with her fans. I would recommend everyone to see her. Thanks Brenda for a great time!

We totally loved the show! She sang some of her hits and medleys of others the first half of the show and favorite Christmas songs the second half. She spent some time sitting and chatting with the audience about herself and her life, really a wonderful touch. She still has an amazing voice...and what a talent. Would go to see her again in a heartbeat....or as she said on stage...in a New York minute!

Brenda Lee is timeless! Her Christmas show was a huge, sold out success enjoyed by all. She took the audience down memory lane, performing several of her million selling hits from the the 60's, including "Break It To Me Gently", " All Alone Am I", "As Usual", "Fool Number 1" and of course, "I'm Sorry". Brenda shared information about her family, her travels, and her longevity in the music business. She told a few very funny jokes, appropriate for any audience. There was a "audience participation" segment when she asked for several men and women to come on stage and join her in singing "Santa Clause is coming to town - it was hilarious!! The show was billed as a Christmas Show and Brenda sang several holiday songs, including her Christmas standard, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree". Brenda received two or three standing ovations, and following the show, she signed autographs and had pictures taken with her many fans. Brenda Lee is one star you don't want to miss.

Unfortunately she is well past her prime as a singer. Way too much talking, jokes, people on stage etc. Worst show I've ever seen

GREAT!! was so down to earth, visited with the people after the show...brought the audience into the show!!! Just a barrel of energy!! Would definitely go again...this is our second time to go to her shows.

I've never been to a concert that was so 'all about the fans'. Brenda Lee is an awesome entertainer! She is heartwarming, energetic, comical and geniune! I love her! LOCATION: Gorgeous place being ruined by SMOKE! The fact that they allow indoor smoking would certainly hinder my thoughts of ever going there again. The show would have to be worth it. In this case it was, but..... all attendees had to indure unhealthy conditions!

I attended the concert with my wife and my sister. My sister has been a huge Brenda Lee fan for years and we were pleased to find she was doing a concert reasonably close to our home (2 hr. trip). The concert itself was really good. While she has lost a little bit off of her voice (to be expected) she put on a great show. She sang many of her biggest hits and threw in quite a few Christmas songs as well, some of them hers and others traditional. She kept the audience involved in the show at all times and took time to recognize the troops, the veterans and a number of old friends she spotted in the crowd. Her band was very talented as well. The real payoff was after the concert when she signed everything and anything people put in front of her. She spoke to everyone who was waiting and it was almost like a bunch of old friends gathering at someone's home for the holidays. For someone that has seen the success she has it was truly remarkable. She hasn't lost sight of growing up poor and supporting her family at a very early age with her singing. During the concert she thanked the fans for makiing it possible for her to be on that stage for all these years. She is a truly warm, caring person.

We Love Brenda Lee! She is extremely entertaining & she kept us smiling the whole time!

What an amazing show. Even my 16 year old son had a good time. The passion when she sang silent night brought tears to my eyes. Such an amazingly classy woman. I would love to see her again. Taking time out to talk to her fans was something I never expected.

We thoroughly enjoyed Brenda Lee's show! She is still "little dinamite" after all the time since our teen years (we are early 70s). Incredible stamina and better voice than ever! After the show, she was very friendly and patient with all her fans wanting an autograph and to speak with her. She was kind enough to pose with my wife (a namesake Brenda Lee) for a pic and even gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek. She is truely a nice person and class act!

Brenda Lee is wonderful. Her show has an intimacy that I have never experienced with any other performer. She really let you know her.

It was wonderful for us older folks to hear songs that sparked our young memory banks and Brenda Lee did it all with such grace!

It was a great show. She's still high energy and had the crowd wanting more. Glad we got the chance to see her.

My husband and I really enjoyed Brenda. We traveled from Calif. to see her and it was well worth the trip. She thrilled my husband right off the bat with his favorite song of hers and it just got better after that!! This little lady still sounds much like she did in days of old, Brenda was so humble and thanked us, more than once, for letting her live her dream and making her famous. I love that she was so personable and shared her life with us, even introduced her daughter to us. She also recognized other famous people in attendance and shared the mike with another performer from the past.. I was very touched when she recognized the veterans, my husband being one of them, and had them stand while she and the audience sang "God Bless America" to honor them. All in all, I would love to be able to see her again some day!!!!!!

Brenda is soooo funny!!! I am probably one of her biggest fans (in more ways than one!)....since we are the same age, you could say we grew up together. Would have liked to said "Hi" to her.....but I know how busy she is, and feel truly blessed I was able to see her for the first time in person. Checking off my bucket list...ha! I sing her songs and Patsy Cline songs at our little bar in Helendale, CA (aka Silver Lakes), a little dive called Dempseys....... I get applause and standing ovations to my credit; although, nothing like the real deal of seeing Brenda in person my any means; I just love her and her music. Patsy Cline also right up there! My cell phone died, so not able to get photos. Sad! Thank you for bringing such a sweet, funny, and awesome singer to Vegas.

Brenda, at her age, is still amazing. Voice quality is not like it used to be, and I did not expect it to be. She is still a force to be reckoned with, and a wonderful sense of humor.

Went to see Brenda Lee last Friday night in Lake Charles, LA. She was AMAZING!!! Loved every minute of it. Her voice was incredible, and her jokes and show were top notch. I can't wait to see her again! She is a true entertainer!!

I am so glad I went to this concert. Brenda Lee is not just a singer - she is a true entertainer!

I sure wish she had sung more songs than she did. A lot of them were abbreviated and run-ons. For her age she did great! Feel the concert was a little pricey for her short concert. There was a lot of talking, telling jokes, and interaction with the audience. Overall, would have really enjoyed more songs.

Brenda Lee still has a dynamic voice and stage presence. She was wonderful!

This show wasn't so much about whether or not Lee could still sing to impress as it was an overview of her career and interaction with fans by sharing stories and telling jokes. The first ten minutes featured songs, but then it quickly went to talking about her family, especially her children and grands. Brenda then spent some time talking with a fan in the front row, and twice had the audience sing Happy Birthday to audience members. Later, she introduced the band in a detailed manner which was followed by several jokes. Overall, the show wasn't what I had anticipated, even though the majority of the much older audience than I, seemed to appreciate her. At the end of the 70 minute show she finished with I'm Sorry and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.

Brenda was wonderful but the fans were not. They were old as am I but they were anxious to go home to bed. We wanted an oncore. Generally, if the audience claps after the last song, the performer will return for an additional song or two. These non-fans left and we could nor encourage Brenda to return for a few more songs. I was embarased by this audience reaction.

Brenda came out singing and sounded good I did not like the short show. It lasted only an hour with 30 minutes of that was talking about guest birthdays, and other uninteresting topics. While the singing of the hits was good they were compiled into a copulation lasting only a few minutes. Brenda seemed to have good stamina for the show and the audience was excited about the songs sang.

Performing to a sell out crowd of all ages, Brenda didn't disappoint. Her show included many of her mega hit songs, as well a few other hits that she joked about having "turned down" when given the opportunity to record. Brenda's personable connection with the audience added a very special touch, as her warmth and glowing smile were as real and as sincere as could be. She's a class act... a beautiful person...and a remarkable artist. The show concluded with a standing ovation from everyone present. We all knew we had had the privilege of seeing a musical legend, performing just for us.

Brenda Lee was awesome! I will go see her again if she comes back to perform at the Golden Nugget.

Brenda Lee put on a great concert and our seats were on the second row, two seats off of the center aisle. The Golden Nugget Lake Charles theater holds only 2500 seats so no seat is very far from the stage. The concert was almost two hours long, great.

Brenda Lee is an amazing performer that can really relate to the audience. This was more than singing - it was so entertaining. And it doesn't end when the singing is over. She invited all that wished to have their picture taken with her and/or get her autograph to meet in the lobby. The line was huge. We waited for an hour - and Brenda Lee was still there taking pictures and signing autographs! It was more than just take a picture, get an autograph and go. She took the time to talk to you. What a show!

I bought the concert tickets for my wife more than me. The show was like all the other reviews that I had read. I hoped that some of the things that were mentioned weren't going to be true, but they were. Brenda only sang a few songs and not even the whole songs, just about half of them and then moved on to another. Too much of the show was spent talking about her personal llife, her band members, and then some jokes....believe it or not. It was a big disappointment for us and I'm sure for a lot of the fans present. I would have preferred doing the whole songs even if it meant there would be fewer of them performed. Brenda still has a good voice, a little diminished but still good. I know her age has something to do with not so much singing and more talking but c'mon, we paid good money for listening to her golden hits not learning about this and that family chit chat. Very disappointed. If I was her, I would re-do the show and try to perform more with less talk.

Brenda Lee no longer can sing, a fact that became apparent when she opened the show. I bought tickets hoping to hear "Coming On Strong" and "That's All You Gotta Do" but these songs weren't even attempted, So, she spent more than half the show talking to audience members and telling misfired jokes. Save your money and, even more important, save your time by not attending.

July 25th. There was nothing but love in the air. It was clear Brenda loves here fans as much as they love her. She left no question why she is a true legend. In a crowd of 2,500 every audience member felt as if Brenda was performing just for them, a feat few performers ever achieve. Brenda's voice is as strong and distinctive as ever. It is truly the voice that brought her the nick name Little Miss Dynamite. Having seen Brenda perform so many times over the years, it was evident, though, that she built in at least two additional sit down, non-singing breaks into her show. After the first set of songs, it was clear it took a toll on her breathing. But Brenda never let up giving her fans 110% of the love they came for. In this performance there was, it seemed, more talking with the audience than songs. But with the love between Brenda and her fans it made no difference. July 25th was a night for love. Every performer should reach that level of success. No one walked away from Brenda's show unsatisfied. Everyone walked out uplifted and experiencing the epitome of goodness, kindness and love in this crazy chaotic world of today. My greatest fear is that she will retire within the next couple years - a retirement she well earned and deserves. Brenda is a beautiful, wonderful, person and a great performer - truly "the lady, the Legend." Ladies and Gentlemen, MISS BRENDA LEE!!! Don't miss her if she is anywhere near where you live.

She still puts on a good show. She is a good entertainer and very humble and appreciative of her fans after being in the business for 60 years.

Worth the price of admission. Was a bit disappointed that Brenda melded most of her hits into a couple of medleys instead of "singing them through". She told some hilarious jokes during breaks, thanked the audience repeatedly and honored Veterans...a nice gesture. Short but sweet, and nice to see a legend such as she. A bit overkill on talking about her family, kids, grandkids, etc. Okay, but a bit long winded.

At first I was a little disappointed when her "Dynamite Voice" was shown to have aged somewhat (as I had feared since I just love her music). She sang some of her sings and it was ok, but her dialog and interactions with the audience brought me a side of Brenda that i was not aware of and we really enjoyed her show wonderfully!!! We had such a great time!!!
