Stan Ridgwy, accompanied by his wife Pietra Wexstun on keyboards and an electric guitarist, was just amazing. I can now cross a major item off my bucket list! He joked a lot with the crowd, bantering back and forth with the audience, and took requests for all his great songs, including Stewart Copeland's theme for the movie Rumble Fish, "Don't Box Me In", "Call of the West," "Tomorrow," "Lost Weekend," "Camoflage," and "Drive, She Said," and Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire." He played a long set and just about the only song he didn't do, out of respect to his late bandmates, was "Mexican Radio." Stan was as sharp as ever, and I felt really lucky to be able to take in this amazing show. He was very pumped for the show, affectionately referring to the mostly older crowd as "we're the last of the Mohicans."

My husband and I have been fans since Mexican Radio came out in 1983. Since then Stan has produced several great albums; we own them all. The concert was great because Stan picked well known songs from over the years such as The Big Heat, Southbound, Camouflage and Lonely Town as well as some songs from Black Diamond, Holiday in Dirt and Anatomy. Stan sounds great live even though the band consist of just two guitarist and a keyboard player (Stan's wife Pietra). He's very entertaining and I'll certainly be back next year when he comes to town.

Stan was excellent. Great interaction with the crowd. Even handled the usual blabbermouths that can't keep their pie-holes shut for a few minutes better than I would have. Voice was in fine form. The new stuff sounded great and was thrilled that he played some nuggets such as Call of the West, Don't Box Me In and Camouflage. Will definitely make sure to catch him in concert again if fortunate enough to have him make a return trip in the future.

After 20 years of being a big Ridgway fan, he was finally close enough for me to jump the bus on a concert opportunity. Now I wish I would of spent the time and money to travel and catch a LIVE show many years ago...The acoustic 3 trio show at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix was amazing! I only wish that it was recorded for a future CD release! I admit that I had slowly grown away from SR music over the years, but this show has re-lit the FIRE! Stan is a magic story teller and to hear him in concert is like a camp fire "ghost story sesh" with your best bro's & brew. Don't MISS the magic of Stan and Pietra! They are the perfect circus...

Stan and crew did not disappoint. Most amazing harmonica playing I've ever seen. I'm there every time he's in town!

Stan was brilliant as usual. The crowd was giving him a hard time not sure why maybe too many drinks. The venue is perfect for Stan small with great seats everywhere. Worst moment was a fight in the crowd during the encore which left people injured.
