The show was amazing! I've seen STP before- at a large arena- and nothing could beat this more "up close and personal" intimate setting! Scott Weiland came out on stage on time and performed very well! He was exciting to watch and I can honestly say, I was disappointed when it was over! I had heard so many not so great reviews- and on that night- none of them were true!

I read several reviews from other shows and was a little scared of what we may see . I was immediately relaxed when the show started and he wasn't slurring . The show was amazing and the Philly crowd as always showed Scott nothing but love . His band i have seen with him 4 times now and i don't find them half as lousy as some of the reviews i've read . Doug Grean is a very talented guitarist and i think people should lighten up a little . Scott's voice was strong and he was in good spirits and i think he had just as good a time as the audience . We even got to see a couple get engaged onstage . all the STP songs he played were all played well and Jean Geanie was a welcomed bonus for me . Their version of Mountain Song blows me away and i'm glad i got to hear them do it again!!

I was very excited to see Weiland in such a small venue as I have seen STP many times in arena size shows. The opening band "The Color Turning" was a great suprise. I bought both their cds at the show. After they left the stage a projector then displayed a cheesy "text Scott" ad on the back wall of the stage. I was very sad to see such a shameless plug for another 99 cents out of each of us. Although the chance of winning "a candle burned in Scott's studio" may have tempted some, I just wasnt feeling it. How far has such a great musician sunk to use such tactics? I hope it was his managers idea, so I can hold on to some respect to our fallen hero. After thirty or so minutes of standing watching this display in nearly empty club Scott and his band came out and kind of forced through some very low energy tunes. Audio was amature at best and song selection was weak. At least the five we stood there in horror through.

I was interested in seeing how Scott fared on his own, especially since his performance at Bumbershoot was really good. However, the highlight of the evening was the fact that he was less than 15 minutes late appearing on stage and things went downhill from there. He didn't seem to know the playlist or didn't want to follow it. He was more interested in dancing and swaying to the music than singing and his guitar and bass players stepped in repeatedly to get things back on track.

I too was a bit concerned about the concert after reading a lot of negative reviews, but was quite surprised by the results. If you've seen STP before you know how Scott performs onstage, Scott was Scott ! There were times when he seemed under the influence and other times in complete control. His voice sounded fine to me. No his band is not the Deleo brothers but they did an admirable job. GO SEE THE SHOW !!! His setlist included a couple of covers from David Bowie and The Doors, I would have liked to have heard a few more songs from Core and Purple albums, but you never get to hear everything you want and the STP songs he performed rocked. We saw him at a small venue and the place was packed and he definitely acknowledged the crowd on a number of occasions. SEE THE SHOW !!!

I thought Scott rocked it! I thought the band left alot to be desired. He played all STP plus some Bowie, Janes Addiction and the Doors. He is a showman. That hasn't changed. Just so sad to see him in this small venue with a mediocre band when he used to sell out whole arenas. Worth the $ if you are a fan.

Came on way late (big surprise) after having 2 opening bands instead of 2. Setlist was only 13 songs long and since the tour was titled "Purple at the Core" I expected it to be littered with songs from those two albums including the hits.. Got 3 tracks from Core but no Sex Type Thing, Creep or Plush. Got 5 tracks from Purple but no Interstate Love Song. He mixed in a couple of solo tracks along with 4 covers. Nothing from Tiny Music at all. The sound was muddy or his voice was just not on point but either way between the setlist missing his biggest hits and the sound quality it was not enjoyable. I'd give him a skip and see the new STP - at least they will sound good and play the songs you want to hear.

I got pissed of because the Title of the concert was "Scott Vineland featuring the hits from the classic albuns Purple and Core" but he did not play the 2 most famous songs; Creep; Plush. Besides that he played only 70 minutes that I consider a short movie. He also played two cover songs.

Scott looked good and was all over the stage but "Purple to the Core" made me believe it was going to be the hits from the first two albums. We were disappointed that he didn't do Sex Type Thing, Creep, etc etc. The Wildabouts were neither wild nor were they all about the stage. Just stood around. Also seemed like a short show. We thoroughly enjoyed the opening act, The Last Internationale.

We've all seen and heard how the paparazzi portrays Scott Weiland. A lot of it's probably exaggerated. But, where there's smoke, there's fire. And the fire was blazing at this show. Weiland seemed to be in another world and the band had had enough of it 45mins in. This was my 4th time seeing him and he was a major disappointment. I've been going to shows for almost 25yrs now and this was the first show I left early b/c I was annoyed. I can't wait for the rest of STP and Chester Bennington to get their tour going!

I've seen him before when the show was amazing. This was not that Scott Weiland. One of the worst shows I've seen in recent memory. Weiland went on bizarre rambling episodes between songs and fixated on his amp to make squealing sounds between most songs. He was off time with the band and broke into different songs by different bands during his own. The poor band just powered through and looked as perplexed as we did in the audience. When he is on, he is one of the best live shows around. Unfortunately, right now he is a mess.

This show was an insult to loyal fans. I have seen Scott twice before, once with STP and once with Velvet Revolver, both which were great shows. But this was a spectacle. Scott came on stage more than 30 minutes late, and as soon as he started singing, it was clear what he had been up to back stage. He was wacked out of his mind, out of tune and out of sync with the rest of his new band. Between songs he would drop old boxing quotes like "down goes [Joe] Frazier" and "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" (an old Muhammad Ali line). It was amusing for a while, but when the singing didn't get better, we decided to leave--seven songs into the show. I used to be a big fan of Scott's, and think he is one of the greatest talents in rock of the last 20 years, but this was my last Scot Weiland show.

I have been a fan of Scott Weiland for 20 years! There was no way I was going to miss this concert. The opening act was awesome! It helped time pass anxiously awaiting Scott to come on stage. He was supposed to be on stage at 10pm. He was 30 minutes late. But, he kicked off the show great! After the first song, he was saying some crazy things but he's a performer, he has to capture his audience. He played some covers which I was not interested in at all, I mean they were good but I wanted to hear STP songs the whole time or his solo songs. My only complaint was when he performed SEX Type Thing, he messed up on the words a little bit. But to his defense, I couldn't keep up with the band myself & I have the song memorized. He even took his ear piece out to follow the band. And No, the band is not STP at all. So, if that's what you're looking for, no one will compare to STP fronted by Scott Weiland. Some of the audience were saying that he was high or drunk. I just wish people would cut him some slack and not assume that he's high. He's almost 46 years old, he's been on the road for years. He might have to have a drink to get by now but I don't think he's back on Heroin. I refuse to believe that since his brother over dosed. Over all, I loved the show! He dresses awesome, looks great, dances around the stage (so sexy), and he's just a great Rocker!! A legend for sure. I am a fan & will always be a fan. If he's still kicking around when he's 75, then I will be the 65 year old fan rocking out to him. Period, THE END!

I had seen STP approximately 8 times and I have always loved the show. Scott's 'purple at the core' solo show is misleading. You can not name it as such and then exclude big empty, plush, interstate love song, creep, and wicked garden. Otherwise the band was good and some of the songs were really good. It would be very cool if Scott got his act tight again and rode at the crest of the wave once more. I am a Scott fan and would not bother to see STP without him.

The good; Scott showed up on time (2 warmups, he went on about 9:45, played for just over an hour), was into the show moving and singing like he does. While some reviews found him "out of it" that wasn't the case tonight. Voice was OK but sound system wasn't the best (still, he used a megaphone so...) and the band seemed infatuation with Rage Against the Machine type feedback with amps. Don't go expecting to hear a STP greatest hits show; the only big song he played was Vasoline. Limits of the band showed on LA Woman, they just aren't anything special. Overall I've seen him in STP and Velvet Revolver, don't expect those hight energy shows; this setlist was questionable and the band just isn't that good, but I'd go again just to see him move around the stage like he does.

A couple of days before the show I had read ticketmaster reviews and seen youtube clips from earlier in the month with Scott slurring, stumbling around, singing the wrong lyrics/way off-key, and going on incoherent rants, and honestly was wondering if I should go. Weiland is one of my favorite rockstars and I didn't want to see him in the midst of going down in flames. That being said, I came to the show with low expectations. I was ecstatic when he came out for the opening song and brought the energy and showmanship that I have come to expect from the former STP frontman. Typical Weiland dancing around on stage, megaphone, etc. and he was on-key for the most part. Loved it! They did have an echo effect on Scott's mic, I guess to try to emulate the stadium rock STP sound, but it didn't bother me. The only negative that I have is that the tempo of the songs was sped way up from the original versions. I have also read some harsh reviews of the band, and I thought they did a good job. If you're going expecting to hear the Deleo brothers, you'll be disappointed, but the Wildabouts were definitely respectable and I'd see them again. I had a great time and felt like I got my money's worth.

Scott was on fire at this concert, he didn't seem drugged up or drunk as most of these other reviews say. Maybe we just got lucky or maybe he is making a change for the better. His vocals were good, he was hitting all the lyrics and was doing his mesmerizing snake like slithering dances across the stage. The band is NOT STP so of course they could tighten up a little more, but by no means were they bad. The Trocadero is an awesome intimate venue that allowed us to get close to the stage. About half way through his performance Scott stopped the show and allowed a guy to come up on stage and propose to his girlfriend. Scott gave them both a hug and wished them love. He also allowed them to stand off to the side of the stage and watch the rest of the concert from there! The show concluded with Scott and the other members falling to the ground while jamming out the final chords of "Unglued." He then bowed and waived to the crowd, he seemed very humble. Even though we only got there as he was going on stage, he was ON TIME as the first bands started at 8 and were done right before 9, Scott was onstage at 9:15. Hopefully he can keep this kind of behavior up. Can't wait to see him again!

We saw Scott and the Wildabouts in Charlotte at the Fillmore. It was a GREAT show!! After reading previous reviews, I was a little nervous. However, he came on around 10ish, 20-30 minutes after the opening band finished. The Wildabouts ROCKED it - sounded excellent. Scott was very high energy as he was in the hay-days of STP. It was a short setlist (13 songs) - so it went by FAST which was a bummer, but we'll take what we can get! The only issue I had was after the show there were maybe 10 of use standing around outside where Scott was to come out and leave. We couldn't get more than 10 yards from where he would have walked to get in the vehicle that was driving him. Security then came out and said we ALL had to leave and stand across the street or he would not come out of the venue. 10 people - and Scott couldn't handle that - even though we couldn't get near him to even get him to sign anything.

Ok, so let me first start off by saying i am a huge STP and Scott Welland Fan. I have been listening to STP/Scott since the Core album and have seen him with and without STP about 8 times. This was by far the worst concert to date. here are my reasons- 1. His back up band just flat out stinks. the 4 guys in his band don't come close to equaling the sound or energy the 3 other STP band members have. For example i saw Robert Plant(Led zeppelin lead singer for the kiddies out there) 2 weeka go in Brooklyn and let me tell you his band he tours with no are awesome. great sound, great energy and can flat out jam.. Scott's band the "Wildabouts"..sorry guys..you are average at best. 2. Scott's voice - what really got me pissed was they used this stupid echoing effect (think its the Auto tune which is popular in the music industry now). i want to hear Scott's voice which actually sounded pretty decent that night considering he was drunk and smoking. 3. music set list - this was horrible. i like hearing covers done but when half the songs you play are covers it doesn't fly. when he did play STP songs they were songs that are OK. No interstate love song, no Sin, no wicked garden, no plush, no still remains.

After previously waiting nearly an hour for Scott and STP to arrive on stage, we suprisingly only waited about 20 mins for Scott to stumble inside The Stone Pony. After signing hello to us, we were graced with a decent version of Sex Type Thing. He went on to sing Mountain Song from Jane's and The Doors' Roadhouse Blues. He did not however play many other songs from Core and Purple, which is what was advertised as what the tour was going to be. His vocals were on par but nothing over the top, good. His band, The Wildabouts? we're pretty much a flop and you could tell that they were just there for a paycheck. Overall though, I was pleasantly surprised as to how active he was and how much fun he was having. Not to much crowd interaction but he was cracking jokes with us and playing around on stage. It was a good performance but nothing over the top from the former STP frontman.

Scott did not seem out of it like previous reviews had indicated. Perhaps he was having an 'on the wagon' night? His energy was pretty good, although the vocals were hit or miss from song to song. During the show he kept messing with some sort of sound effects that were a bit annoying. It made me feel like I was listening to Michael Winslow from the Police Academy movies. The musicians were not the greatest or the most energetic, but Weiland makes up for it. Could've been more impressive, but still worth seeing.

I have seen velvet revolver and stp and now scott going solo and the music in all three were consistantly good. And scotts voice in the first two were good. This time however his voice seemed to have a higher pitch to it. Ironiclly when he covered a janes addiction song his voice fit perfectly. The banter beteen songs was great...just like talking to a drunk friend. He started to jokingly sing some songs between the songs on the setlist and forgot the words. He also seemed to forget the words to some of his own songs a ciuple of times. He was quitelate getting to the stage even after the long sound check. I heard the rumbles of people near me saying he was busy shooting up in back. Also some seemed surprised that the show didnt sell out but it was a monday and he didnt have the big STP name to sell tickets so to me it wasnt a surprise. Bottom line if your looking for a perfect recreation of the songs he made hits then you will be dissapointed but if your looking for an unpredictable show with good music and some good covers and one new original song which i liked...on top of the usual stp hits then i suggest you go.

First off, this has been my first concert in over 20 years .... Granted that the show started late, but It was great listening to a all-time great performer! He has his vices, but show me one musician who doesn't ..... He performed for about 1 1/2 hrs. which in my eyes is a great length to be singing. So I don't get when the people start booing when Scott and the band take a break before coming back to do the encore.... I would go back to see Scott in a Heartbeat, because he is a great musician.

Scott sounded good but unfortunately he should've done a better job picking his band. Namely the lead guitarist. Butchered every STP song. Plus, with him coming on stage an hour late also didn't do him any favors for setting the mood and energy level of the crowd.

Although I have been made to wait for many artists to make an annoyingly late appearance,I always find myself in amuch more forgiving mood when they prove worth the wait... this was the case with Scott Weiland and the Wilabouts. Scott has an ego the size of Montana, which makes for THE BEST frontman! For the most part the show was exciting and musically satiating. The Miggs opened and were a pleasant suprise. My girlfriend and I loved them. Also, I liked the venue. It was like a classier, roomier, better sounding Electric Factory :)

When I first heard that STP had fired Scott a couple weeks ago, I sided with Scott because I assumed STP were upset Scott wanted to go on tour and play songs from Core and Purple since STP didn't want to (they only wanted to play their "greatest hits"). But, now that I've seen what's really happening, I don't fault STP for firing him. Scott needs help with sobriety and maybe this is a way for STP to get Scott to hit rock bottom and get that help. During the show, Scott was obviously drunk, high, or both and it really pained me to see it dead center from a couple rows back. I didn't have a problem that all of the songs were not from Core or Purple and I didn't mind that they rearranged the songs (I think they may have played the demo versions), but Scott ruined the show. His horrible singing and random rants between songs were so bizarre that I felt bad for his band mates who didn't know what to expect from Scott. The band would look at each other worried what Scott was going to do or say next and it was obvious they were walking on eggshells throughout the show. However, I'm peeved at the band for being Scott's enablers and riding off his coattails to make a quick buck with this tour. Scott is in no healthy state of mind to be performing. Message to Scott: I hope you get the help that you need before you die way sooner than other rock stars have in the past. You're a talented singer that many people enjoy watching and hearing, but not when you're in this state.

I thought this show was great. While it's strange to think of Scott Weiland as a Christmas song crooner, he did a great job singing and working the stage. As a great unexpected surprise, he threw in some STP songs! He was pleasant with the audience and the venue was small enough so that we were front row and that made it an amazing experience in itself. Doors were supposed to open at 6 but they didn't let us in then- we came back at 6:37 and they still weren't open- we walked around at came back after 7 and doors were finally open. Not a big crowd so we were able to stand front and center!

I am a huge fan of Scott's, so I was very excited to see him live, (although I had the pleasure of catching Velvet Revolver in Philly some years ago!)!! He came out, a little late, after a crappy South Jersey cover band, and announced that he had the flu and a 102 temp. He was great and did not seem to be affected, but not counting a cover of Dream Jeanie, he only did 10 songs!!! Very dissappointed!!!

An Awesome band, Seven Stone, opened for Scott Weiland. We really enjoyed their music. Scott and his band were absolutely fantastic. His voice and the music sounded amazing!. We had a great time!

I honestly didn't expect Scott to be as good as he was, based on the last two times I saw him (2013, Mt. Pocono,Pa. and Wilmington, De.) Notoriously late (about 40 minutes), Scott and the band took the stage with his band, the Wildabouts. The only one I recognized from the last shows was the Bass Guitarist. Scott was not his usual nattily dressed self, looking disheveled in a t-shirt, wrinkled dress shirt, and vest. He opened with an STP staple, "cracker man", which was well received by the audience, a third of which remained standing the entire show. After the first song, he told the crowd that he had been fighting "the flu" for three days. The band only played two original songs, which Scott said were from their new Album, and filled the rest of the show with STP hits, with a few changes in the song arrangements. The band came out for one encore song, and played for about an hour and ten minutes total. All in all, a pleasant surprise from the former STP front man. I hope to see him locally in the near future...

Scott (and the band) was great despite fighting the flu (hopefully not else). I believe he had to cut the show a little short but still playing over an hour which was good.

I was disappointed in Scott Weiland and his new band, not Stone Temple Pilots, but apparently someone didn't tell him he's no longer with the other Pilots, so why do the music. I was expecting to hear his solo career music. It was like watching an STP cover band.

I was totally blown away by his performance at the Viper Room, he sang all the best of Core and Purple, it was a luxury seeing him at that historic venue. I would definitely go to see his concert again ! I HAD A BLAST !

Scott took 1.5 hours before coming out after the 2nd band. He messes up words to the songs and was not into the music at all. Complete waste of money and time. So sad being a huge STP fan, been to dozens of shows in numerous states and venues. Hope he gets his act together. Highlight of the night was the 2nd band, the Rouge... really good.

All rock fans know the story behind Scott Weiland. He started with Stone Temple Pilots. Wrote some of the best rock songs ever. Had a falling out with the band and formed Velvet Revolver. Wrote two more amazing albums. Not to mention his solo stuff is great. Yes he has a drug problem. Yes some of his shows are shaky. But this guy is one of the best singer/songwriter/frontman of all time. Go see him!

I loved Stone Temple Pilots and even loved Scott singing with Velvet Revolver, but this concert was horrible. He didn't know the words to his own songs and basically had a breakdown of some sorts right on the stage. It was awful to watch, so much so that we left before the show was over. The opening act was the best part of the night. Sorely disappointed.

Scott Weiland was awesome! The opening acts were great too. The only issue was that between each act, we had to wait 30 minutes plus. Doors opened at 7. 1st act was on at 8:00 ir so and played for 30 mins. When they finished we had to wait another 30 mins for te 2nd act. Then they played for about 30 mins. Again we waited 30 more minutes for the main show. We almost left because we were so sick of waiting. Glad we stayed though bc the show was great!

TWO opening bands! Afterwards, Scott "performed" for an hour and 15 min with much of that being him fidgeting with equipment. For a tour touting that he would perform songs from the 1st two albums, which total 23 to choose from, covers of Jane's Addiction and The Doors weren't necessary, but were performed. The band was not in synch with his singing and the sound quality was bad that you didn't recognize some of the songs until he got to the chorus. The look on most of the audience faces told the same story. Many people asked for refunds. I will NEVER see him again unless the original group gets back together. In fact, I should've opted to see STP with the new lead singer from Linkin Park instead of attending this debacle.

The opening. Bands were good. Scott weiland on the other hand took an hour to come on stage after the rouge . He was eating a banana and was obviously messed up. He mumbled thru alot if the lyrics ... And towards the end seemed to like playing with static interference more then actually performing. He was very disappointing. At least I have the old stp on CDs . Lol

Scott hit the stage an hour and a half after the openers finished so the crowd was surly. It was obvious from our position close to the stage that he was highly intoxicated on something. I thought at several times he was going to fall over. His pitch was off, the band was not tight, the sound guy did not have the mix right. Overall one of the worst shows I have been to in years. My wife and I left early as we could not bear to watch him embarrass himself any longer. Sad fall as the last 2 STP shows we saw at the Norva were outstanding. Now I understand why the band kicked him out. Just awful to watch....embarrassing...

Scott weiland purple to the core was probably the no is the worst concert I've ever seen. Not only did he already have the crowd already upset by not coming out untill 1030 when he finillay came on stage it seemed like he was rushing through the songs. Weiland even managed to destroy every STP by rushing through it quite literally by having his band sipped the tempo up and taking the integrity away from the song.

This was by far the worst concert I've ever been to. I was so excited to see him and I should have saved my money. He was more interested in the amp and weird movements then putting on any kind of show. It was embarrassing and most people left. If I could get my money back I would.

I've been to multiple shows at The Paramount and the venue is awesome (whether from the balconies or the standing room only). Despite being the most well attended show I've been to, however, this one was by far the worst. The opening acts were decent, but Scott Weiland's performance was mediocre at best. He was often lethargic and his singing was frequently such a garbled mess that it was difficult to determine which songs were actually being performed. In addition, parts of his on-stage schtick (using the megaphone or attempting to play the harmonica with the mic) were so badly botched that they could not be heard at all. I highly recommend avoiding this show.

I'm a huge STP and Scott Weiland fan and it kills me to say this but this show was by far the worst concert I've ever been to. I'd pay top dollar to go see Air Supply or some other horrific band then go see Scott again. If you enjoy watching a guy moan while he's singing his own hits or putting his mic on a speaker for 5 minutes at the end of each song then seeing Scott Weiland is the exact fix you'll need. Please save your time and money.

The show startks with Mr. Weiland going on stage between 45-60 minutes late. They start playing with some weird instrumental. As soon as Scott opens his mouth, we the audience soon realize, we are in trouble. It is obvious that Scott is under the influence of either alcohol or drugs or both. He spends the next 45 minutes singing or yelling off key and out of pitch. Often forgetting lyrics, even forgot them on Vasoline - one of STP's biggest hits. He knocked over the mic stand at one point and dropped the mic at another point. Warbled one song while crouched in the corner. Most of the crowd just stood or sat in disbelief. Most of the crowd started to leave 45 minutes into the show, I did as well. Bought 2 tickets and I feel Scott Weiland stole my money. Avoid this trainwreck at all costs.

The band was nowhere near the talent of Dean, Rob and Eric. Weiland sounded great, however changing the tempo and rhythm did not make the old songs better. Sorry. I am a huge STP and Weiland fan but I will probable not go the next time around. Sorry Scott, $50 for two hours is too much to spend for a disappointment.

Scott did a great job, but the band just wasn't up to par. It would have been nice to hear more STP songs. No Plush or Interstate Love Song. He seemed to enjoy himself up there and wasn't the incoherent Scott Weiland I've been witness to in the past. I wish he'd played STP for the encore instead of the Doors.

I went in with low expectations--the pretty consistent bad reviews for Scott's tour made me leery of going, but my husband is a die-hard Scott fan... so we went. For one, the Rouge (the opening act) were pretty solid, and actually really funny. Wouldn't mind hearing more from them. Scott was certainly under the influence of something, but no where near as bad as he's been described elsewhere. He was definitely moving across the stage, talking with the crowd (though sometimes, yes, unintelligibly slurred), and came out the earliest I've ever seen a headliner come out. Played a good solid 1.5 hour. His voice smoothed out with the show--first two songs, even my stan husband thought he sounded really rough. He improved through the night, though. They covered three songs (Jane's Addiction, the Doors, and Davie Bowie), all of which sounded pretty darn awesome... which is where my husband's biggest complaint came. Scott, and the band, sounded the best on covers of other artists. The band just couldn't play STP songs well, which often resulted in Scott seeming to sing faster (or much slower) to keep pace with the band (and not the other way around). The band was just pretty crappy all around. Not an awful show, and I personally came away having had a good time. My die-hard Scott fan husband, however, came away with, "It was good to see Scott, but... that show kind of sucked." Make of that what you will.

Couple good songs, kinda cool Doors medley during the encore. The rest was just 'meh'. Over-performed too many songs with needless and seemingly endless chopping on the guitar at the end of songs.

Scott sounded and looked INCREDIBLE!! Great concert and great venue!!
Weiland walked out on stage with a cup of Starbucks. Band really phoned it in...not exciting at all. 75% of the crowd sat through the concert. Biggest issue was the WIldabouts...certainly not the Deleo brothers, but cmon, get some energy. Lead guitarist reminded me of Seth Rogan.
Had an amazing time because I loved the venue! We got to get all the way up to the stage without anyone trying to fight us or kick us out! Soundboard is a great place to see a show. Hope to go there again soon. Scott Weiland never disappoints, he is always the best ever!
When they played STP, Scott was awesome. Otherwise, band and their songs sounded like lounge act. Scott should get different band or stick to STP songs. If tickets cost more, would not be worth it.
Scott Weiland was under the influence of something during this show. He walked off the stage 2 times and the 2nd time he walked off he never came back on.
Played maybe 6-7 songs from both albums didn't even play Plush not what the tour is advertised about. Played a few cover songs David Bowie and the Doors songs also. Seemed really out of it which is nothing new for Weiland and was very upset about the whole thing with STP. Was about 40 min late for the start time. I would not recommend spending your hard earned money on the show. He went on to talk about one of the band members dad who was at the show and then someone on the floor decided to throw something at him. Bottom line didn't play as many songs you would think from the two albums. Very dissappointing in all.
Let me start by saying I have been a HUGE fan of STP and Scott Weiland from the beginning through thick and thin. I really wanted to enjoy the show but could not. Scotts voice was soo off you could not even understand what he was singing and in some cases what he was even saying. You could tell that he was under the influence of "something". Check out youtube if you should doubt what you are reading... In the end if I would get my money back I would. Thank you Scott for all of the great years but please hang up your musical career before you destroy the rest of the world view of you.
I have followed STP since the beginning when I was in college, so this was the huge disappointment and waste of time and money. Scott and team sounded like a STP cover band: the sound mix was terrible and they had no energy. I now understand why STP kicked him out: show finally started at ~9:15'ish and ended in an hour; only to come back out and play one encore song. The only reason I didn't walk out was because my wife and I had driven an hour to Reno and assumed he was having a rocky start: it only got worst in the little time they were on stage.
Scott played decent songs and a decent set. His vocals and demeanor seemed a little hazy. It was fun in a sort of train wreck way. If you are looking for flawless mucisianship and vocals you will not have a good time.
