Method Man

Method as always put on an amazing show. The energy and vibe he brings to his concerts is one of the most unreal feelings you will ever experience. His fans just make it even better because they are feeding off his energy.

i thought the show was great and would for sure love to attend again. i would like to attend the wu tang show coming this December but will not have money.

THIS DUO IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE MALE GROUP TO SEE IN ANY GENRE.. THEIR ENERGY IS ALWAYS HIGH... I'M ALWAYS IN THE FRONT ROW WITH A HUGE JOINT AND SMILE.. THEY ROCKED IT LAST NIGHT..... ALTHOUGH THEY DIDIN'T DO ANY OF MY FAVE SONGS OFF THE NEW ALBUM I STILL HAD A BLAST .. I BROKE A SWEAT EVEN........ I NEVER MISS A METH & RED SHOW I TOOK MY MOM AND DAD WHOM ARE HUGE FANS.. AND THEY BOUNCED WITH ME ... IT WAS SOOOOOOO GREAT TO SHARE THAT WITH THEM

method man and redman were incredible . They were live filled with energy and there was not a dull moment during the show . Redman and Meth are incredible mcs to their fullest . Dope show .

The overall vibe was full of energy! For the most part staff was friendly. The close proximity of audience to the stage and performers is perfect...it allows for a more up close and personal experience!

I was really surprised how well these guys MC a show. They rocked the show like seasoned MC's should. There weren't 20 dudes on stage swinging towels overtaking the vocals. These guys are pros. The music was clear and the mics came through perfectly. Method Man and Redman demonstrate the difference between wannabe rappers and real hip hop artist. Well worth the money even if you don't know the music it's all about the show.

The opening act was ok. A guy named duolist performed with a girl. They did their job of at least getting us ready for what was in store. Then Ghostface came out and rocked it! I had seats front row center balcony and did not sit! He got the crowd moving his whole set, which was about an hour and ten minutes. Then Meth and Red came after a short intermission. I have never seen so much energy from two guys ever! They went as hard as we did with no lyrics playin over them! These guys danced and jumped as if they were in the crowd, and never missed a beat. TRUE MC'S!!!!!

I enjoyed going out for a night at a live concert. Well maintained with no violence. The energy was positve and hype. I would recommend this concert to friends even if they're not into rap.

First time seeing them live and it will not be my last. They had so much energy and know how to ge the crowd hype as well!

All three acts were awesome, we got there a little late and only saw half of DuoLive's set, but they were still great, Ghostface was phenomenal, but Meth and Red were definitely the highlight of the evening, i've never seen more energetic and determined performers live, every performer was on top of their game and really seemed to be having a great time, if this show comes anywhere near you, don't miss the opportunity

This show was the epitome of a classic hip hop show. Red & Meth rocked their new songs and old songs, did their solo sets, danced a little, and played to the home crowd. They brought energy when the crowd was getting quiet to keep the show hype.

Ghostface Killah, Meth & Red were just off the chain! I'm still buzzing off their performance. Can't wait for them to come back.

The concert was awesome! MethodMan & RedMan kept the crowd live & interacted. They performed all their hits, even from the 90 s. Can t wait to see them again

This was by far the best hip hop show I have ever been to! They put on the best show with the most energy they were so talented as well as hyped and entertaining, what they said between the songs was as amusing insightful and true as the songs they performed. Simply amazing I had one of best times that I've ever had at this show, and will check them out when they are anywhere even close to where I live! Great show and cool guys, BJC

All I can say is this is one of the best shows I've ever been to. Ghostface was lyrical perfection. Meth and Red had so much energy, the entire crowd was jumping like crazy. They performed for well over their scheduled alotted time (at least an hour and a half). Also, Redman didn't have a problem with standing back and letting Method sing some Wu-Tang classics. Overall, it was the best hip hop show I've ever seen and compared to the over 50 concerts I've been to this definitely ranks in Top 5. Well worth the money!

This was the best show I've been to in years. It's nice to see performers who actually like what they do.

Ghostface, I adore this man. He is electric. Meth and Red did the damn thing. This concert was well worth the ticket price. I can't wait til Wu-tang perform in NYC. They are my favorite group.

The biggining was hot, the middle was alright... Rakwon showing up was siiiiicckkk, ghostface was hot but the best was obviously left for last... REDMAN & METH killed the show, they make u feel like ur their homie, they be vibin with u nd clowning around on stage, it was UNFORGETTABLE!

I have been to over thirty Hiphop shows. This one was my favorite.The energy that Ghostface and Red-meth brought to the show was sick. Both acts performed for at least an hour and there was no delay between acts. I have never been to the nokia theatre before but would definetly go again.

The show was very enjoyable, however, a lot of time was wasted on other rapper artists in their crew. Red and Meth didn't come out 'til the very end and by than I was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open. However, the duo had a killer performance and everyone was very into the music. I HIGH-ly suggest seeing them if you get the chance.

This concert was off the chain!! If your sick of that mainstream garbage, Meth and Red brought it back to the old school flava while doing cuts off of blackout 2. Personally, I would have loved to see more appereances, but meth and red held this down to the fullest. Ghostface strongly reinforced that old school flavor as well. And as always, they got the crowd right into it by crowdsurfing, stagediving, and the always unforgettable Redman smoking right on stage.

the venue was excellent. the nokia theatre was spacious , clean and accomadating . the entertainers were fabulous! method man rocked the house with his usual vibtrant flare and raw lyrics ; redman would not be out done - his timing impeccable and his candor outrageous! when are they coming back?????

Man, this show was wild. The wait was not too long between sets and the rappers came on and performed spectacularly. What else can you expect from the founders of rap? Method and Red had a ton of energy and their style is definitely still with them after all these years. Ghostface's crowd in the background really made the setting and the mood wilder and more intimate with the crowd, while Method and Red definitely needed the stage clear to interact more with the audience, which brings me to the reason why I did not give this show a full 5 stars. The crowd at the show did not satisfy me or the performers who were pouring their "heart" and soul into their rhymes. Most of the crowd in the middle (elevated standing room) was doing just that: standing, while Method and Red kept demanding more energy and dancing from the crowd of their hometown. I, myself, was going wild and tried as much as possible to encourage others around me to give them as much of a party as possible so that the rapper-gods could respond with even more fury and power. Still, there were redeeming moments when Method and Red dedicated the show to ODB (Old Dirty Bastard); the crowd came to life to remember his name and legacy. Other than the crowd, these legends did not cease to amaze me for a second with their energy and flow, running around the stage, dancing, slapping highfives, and interacting with each other and the two insane DJ's on the stage supporting them with the usual, unforgettable beats. The setlist was great, offering a combination of new school songs from their new album together, and old school of the early 90's when Method and Red amazed the world with so many albums. They came home to New York to play a hallmark show, choosing a prime location, Nokia Theatre, with its great acoustics, powerful subwoofers, great stage size, and optional open seating in the back. It is truly my favorite venue, especially because their housed one of my favorite shows (truly an honor) in my life.

I thought the concert was great and ill just make a few suggestions. Im all for listening to new artist if their lyrical content is substantial, so BigStat and Duo Live did not have to be there. Their time slot could have been filled with other missed artist who were in the building like K-Solo and Raekwon. And Keith Murry should have been on stage after the wack groups and not in between them. Overall though, Keith, Ghost, Raekwon, Red and Meth put on a hell of a show.

Concert was fully of energy and excitement. Lasted about 3 hours with special guests Mickey Factz and Keith Murray.

Besides Kieth Murray who was respectable they had the worst opening acts I've ever seen. Ghost came out opened up strong with criminology but then it got wak when the theodore unit and ghost's son the sungod did some songs. then they wasted even more time doing a mic check in the middle of the set. Followed some poor song choices to perform from ghost. He only did one from big doe rehab (celebrate which i think is a wak track anyway) and be easy from fishscale. He closed with back like that? Another horrible choice to even perform that song let alone close with it. Red/Meth came out with alot of energy started off good lost the crowd at times but excelled when performing their classic material(time4sumaktion, MethodMan, tonites the nite, bring the pain, how high etc.) They didnt even do this is for all my smokers which is probably the best track on the new album. Followed by another horrible choice to close out the show. their version of rappers delight. All in all it was a fun show, just plagued by horrible song choices.

This was the best hip hop/rap concert I've ever been to. FABULOUS.

Ghostface Killa was the VERY best part of the entire concert. I especially loved it when Ghost and Raekwon performed old Wu-tang songs...they really showcased how hip-hop should be. Excellent!!

Man I'm still amped from last nights show! My girl and I were front row just of center stage and got to shake hands with both Red and Meth,... Method Man jumped out into the stage like a rock star and I had to help him get back on stage... what an awesome show! Ghostface did a hell of a job as did Street Life and Duo Live, .... they poured some Patron into our cup and we did a shot together, what an experience! Concert was crazy. I got to meet and interact with all the performers outside before the show. Even during the show the performer interacted. On of the top moments in my life.

Best concert ever. Better than Watch the Thorne. Artist presence was much more personal and intimate with the smaller venue than a larger one. Many surprise guest appearances such as Ludacris, 2 Chains, Fiend, and many more. You can't go wrong. Especially for $35.

Everyone needs to experience the SmokersClubTour! It was amazing and we got to burn one!

I drove from Philly to Allentown (a 1 hour drive) in heavy rain with only the passenger side wind shield wiper. Several times I thought about turning back to go home. The Method CD I burned was the only thing that kept me goin. Not by design, I was 2 hours late. (I got lost, twice) When I got there Curren$y was Movin the Crowd. 20 minutes and 2 drinks later, it was time to tally up the METHOD to my driving madness. 3-2-1... METH hit the stage hard with "RELEASE YO' DELF". Da Crowd went wild ! From then on it was hit, after hit, after hit... His showmanship was grade A-U.S.A. approved. METHOD MAN is a must see for old school WU-TANG fans. THANKS METH, My Drive home was a PARTY !! Glad I made that METH CD. :) keep doin' the damn thing !!! aka" LONE RIDER"

There were way too many opening acts. Not just that, some of them were boring. Even though he couldn't move around much, Currensy did his thing. Method Man was great! perfect way to end the show!

You can't go wrong anytime Krit, Curren$y, and Method Man hit the stage. Great vibe to the show.

I really appreciated this tour running in smaller venues. The intimate atmosphere really made the Smokers Club Tour even better. The artists were all awesome and they even threw blunts into the crowd. We had a great time!

It was full of energy and a dope concert overall if you like these artists then GO!

He gave 110% in his performance, as he said he would before he started performing. He dived into the crowd, rapped cipher-style on the club floor, stood on the crowd's hands and rapped while they held him up. This is real hip hop. Peace to Meth! Would definitely see him again

The opening acts were not good at all. I didn't even know any of them that went on before corner boy p. They all sucked. Big Krit didn't perform so I guess they took over his set. But once curren$y got on, the show was worth it n it just got better once method shut it downn!

Curren$y, Smoke DZA, Fiend, Corner Boy P, International Jones, Young Roddy, Super Villain, they all did their thing and killed the show. Method Man on the other hand, gave what I can say to be the best performance I've ever seen. I was disappointed that BIg K.R.I.T. didn't go, being a big reason why we went in the first place, but I think you guys owe it big to Meth for putting on a show like he did. Keep it coming.

Big K.R.I.T. really set the tone for the night, getting people really excited. Curren$y was amazing. Even with a broken leg he still came with a great amount of energy and the crowd showed him their appreciation for it. Method man, nothing can be said about the way this man entertains a crowd. Although I felt his set should have been longer, and the crowd should have been way more hyped up. Redman finally came out to perform with Meth which really got the crowd going. All in all it was an amazing concert.

Awesome show. Great energy, great performances (at least for Currensy and Method Man). The earlier performers were nothing special.

METHOD MAN GAVE A GOOD SHOW TO THE PEOPLE...CURREN$Y WAS AWESOME, AND EVERYONE ELSE RIPPED UP THE SHOW

It was definitely great to see a show in the area. Rarely does Starland Ballroom feature hip hop acts and this show did not disappoint. The crowd was live and the performers engaged all of us into the show. Big K.R.I.T. and Meth even went into the crowd. Definitely will keep my eyes open for any future shows at Starland.

All of Jet Life (Curren$y's crew) waspretty good, particularly Big Krit. I wouldn't go to any more concert's with Curren$y in it however, cuz he was just soooooooo lame. All he did the whole time on stage was lay on a couch and rap.... whereas METHOD MAN (when he FINALLY came out 30 minutes before the show ended) hyped up the crowd, jumped into the stage, and simply killed it. AND there was a surprise performance by Red Man. METHOD MAN = 5 stars Curren$y = 2 stars Jet Life = 4 stars overall = 4 stars

Definitely go if you have the chance. Try to just get there for DZA, Krit, Curren$y and Meth. Skip the other opening acts if you can.

Too much southern hip hop and not enough method man. First of all the fact that due to method mans lateness no one was allowed out to the smoking section the entire not, it won't help this review. People paid money to see method man!!! Method man was on stage for a total of 30 minutes. However, after bringing out 2-3 other "new artists" to perform, method man himself actually performed a total of 18 minutes. I wish I could get my money back.

Dude was awesome, put on a sick show! Curren$y was ill too but method came with the energy! Not to mention he brought a friend with!

It was nice to finally see these guys live putting on a real show compared to what is to be called "hot" today. It was nice to hear the new stuff and definitely bringing back the 90's bangers. Jannus Live was a good spot for the venue instead of a big stadium show. Hope they come back and do it again.

it was the best concert ive ever been too. them two feed off each other and it was great from beginning to the end.they even stage dived and i got to hold method man up.then they gave water bottles out to people and every one got wet.lot of green burned too.

The show was amazing Tical and Redman put on a great show with allot of body language and energy. They are the epitome of "REAL HIP HOP" which is hard to find these days. Jannus Live was also a very welcoming venue and always books great rare gems like this.

I love the Old School stuff at Janus Live. Red and Meth were great. My only complaint is that you could not understand one word they said all night.

I bought tickets for this show last minute, with little expectations, but I was extremely impressed. I have no complaints with the setlist, as they played a good mix of new and old songs. And I was really surprised by how much they involved the audience in the show. Just when you'd start to get tired, they do something to get you hyped up. It was a great show, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The entire show was great! The HYPE that Meth and Red brought was amazing. This was my first time seeing them live, and I'm hooked!!!! I will most def see them again and again. We were in the first row! They interact with the audience the entire show. He gave me his hand. Then Red and Meth went crowd surfing. And on Meth's way back to the stage I helped him back on stage by his ass......I can die happy now!!!!!!!!

Best show ive ever been to hands down... the energy and over all great mood of the house was just a real good feeling.. ive been a long time fan of both Meth & red and i have to say they did not disappoint.

The concert was awesome. The only thing that I disliked was how warm it was in the crowd. Sometimes you couldn't even move without worrying you were going to pass out. Method Man and Redman were great though.

It was great! I got near the stage about 5 people back it was loud and alot of people. Over all GREAT! Second time I seen them, other time House of Blues,MA Nov. 1st I touch Method Man's Hand I was right up front then. Amazing both time I would see them agian.

Method Man & Redman put on AMAZING performance! Very High Energy. A lot of crowd involvement. They introduced some songs off of their new album Blackout 2, but they brought it back with a bunch of the old stuff. Suchhh a good show. I'm STILL hype!

so the method man & redman concert had to be hands down the best showw i've ever been to. i've been to many shows all over and this was the double thumbs up show. freeway killed it to!! meth and red were so live and into the crowd. grreat performers

Yeah, Method Man and Redman brought the house down. They did all the old stuff and the new stuff too. I've been to the Chameleon Club a bunch of times (even for the Wu-Tang Clan) and this crowd was the loudest I've ever heard.

It was a great show and a great venue. I have already recommended this to friends. The performance was fantastic. If you like a small, intimate, concert environment - the Chameleon Club is definitely the place to go. You have a great chance to meet the artists. We were chillin with Freeway for about half an hour!

it was the best they were so down to earth they did not have alot of people on the stage with them they let there fans touch them they gave away stuff it was the best thing ever after show i got to get on the bus and meet meth he was nice guy and was not any way to good for his fans , i have been a fan of his for last 17years and this the first time i was able to go and see him , i got 2 check that off my bucket list , iam soo happy

These artists came out with so much energy and rocked the crowd. They played all of their top songs, and it was cool to be able to sing/rap along with them.

It was awesome seeing them in person... They both still got it and don't seem to have aged in the past ten years.... I will always be a fan of Method

The show was amazing!! Best one I've been to in awhile. Wa nted to get a tee but it was too long. Location was cool...drinks were good n cheap...I luv u Meth!!! Xoxoxo

I thought this concert was great. Even the local bands who opened for Redman and Methodman were awsome. Once Red and Methman came out the croud bumrushed the barriers and everyone was able to get up close and enjoy the show. I was disappointed in how very few people ended up showing up. I thought that there would be a much higher turn out. I do think that more poeple would have shown up if they did the concert at one of the bigger local bars like other bands have done lately. I hope they weren't disappointed at the size of the croud. Next time, throw the concert at a bar, it will make more money that way cause almost every Alaskan likes to drink and dance at the bars.

Have been priviledged to see not only the Wu-tan Clan but Method Man on several occasions. This show however was superior to them all!! The Showbox at the Market in Seattle is the greatest place for any show. General Admission & 3 bars. FUN, FUN, FUN. was up front and left of the stage for the entire show & was able to interact w/ the artists as well as share my "foliage" with them. Great duo to see live both are sexy as hell with MADDDD skills on the mic. Meth was ever so sexy and mysterious and Red is hot in his own right and knows how to have a great time while giving an excellent performance...Would advise all who love HIP-Hop to see these to whenever possible. Just these two...not 150 other Mutha suckers on the stage takin' up space and energy. Just the 2 MC's a dj and their mics!!
