So, I went to sensation last year and it was absolutely phenomenal. The crowd was great, ambiance, light show, stage set up, and everything was amazing. This year, I was not impressed at all. The crowd on the floor had no energy. They closed floor access way too early. I was also not intrigued by the stage like I was last year. Last year there was more than one coat check. This year there was only one area for coat check and I was very dissatisfied with it. It was very unorganized. Also, I left the show a good hour before the show ended so I can take my coat back to my seat to catch the rest of the show. I got my coat and they were forcing people to leave the arena straight from getting their coats. I was furious because I was going to miss the end of the show. Also, I went to coat check without my friends and phone was dead, so I did not want to leave them wondering where I was. The whole thing was just a mess. I heard a lot of complaints. They also made my friend turn her dress inside out. Her dress was all white with SOME light silver leopard spots on it. MEANWHILE, I saw guys getting in wearing plaid shorts. Also saw one guy with brown kakhi shorts with a blue button down.. America, don't ruin this event like everything else.

It was absolutely amazing, unbelievable and all the rest of superb words you can think about!I loved the lights, the fire, the water. The DJ's did such a great job with the music! And I absolutely loved how the Dj Booth was spinning around so everyone can get a view of the person playing the music!I really loved the whole conception of the event-OCEAN OF WHITE-first they "submerge" you in the water and the music is meant to warm you up,then you get deeper and the music changes to a little bit more intense one, after that you get deeper and the crowd just went crazy with Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano! And of course the BEST part of the night with Fedde Le Grand was the absolute best way to finish the event!....The light show is one of a kind!Lasers, lights changing to different colors, fire shooting up,the big screens showing you the dj up close.Where else are you going to find an event where everyone dressed in white! This is the absolute MUST if you are a real house music fan.It gives you the mix of European house music and the more intense house music tracks of the festivals!I am going back next year!

They only played old school house; it was like listening to the Night at the Roxbury soundtrack which doesn't go with the pseudospiritual, heavenly voice and dancing goddesses. Some trance would have been nice. Sensation screwed everyone charging almost $200 for only one A list DJ. The floor was uneven making tough to dance in areas. The ability to get down to the main floor was difficult due to security imposing a limit of people on the floor at a time. People didn't want to leave the main floor to use the bathroom so they started urinating under the stairs. Later in the concert there were large puddles by the stairs with carefree girls dancing barefoot in it holding their high heels.

I've been waiting for this event to come to USA for over 10 years now. Ever since I found out about Sensation White in Amsterdam, I've always wanted to do this. Amazing show and production. Not as good as the Sensations in Europe, but still I'm happy this finally happened in USA. USA tends to lag behind the rest of the world when it comes to music. And now it seems like it's finally catching up :)

The event was well produced, great venue, great production. However, I generally did not enjoy the event because the music wasn't my taste. I like house, but less trance, less electronica, more bass. Overall, the event itself was fine, but don't expect for you to hear hard house at this event. It's definitely more chill.

yes i would recommend this event to a friend ...but i dont know why dont u understand one thing ....Mr White is good for opening ....but for closing that EVENT u need a Dj who will bring out all that people have on that dance floor ....that means little more stronger beat ...little more agresive then what we had over there ....so we can enjoy and dance in same time more then we did ....my opinion ...

Everything was great: ambiance, decorations, music, light effects, pyrotechnics, etc. All people dressed in white added a certain charm to this in addition to everything already listed above. Fedde le Grand was great, I thought Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano were awesome. Mr. White and Nick (the first two DJs) were very good too, although their beat is not exactly my favorite.

Too many restrictions, endless lines everywhere (even to get a beer), no floor access, drinks got more expensive, no Bud Light Platinum sponsorship, same DJs, no real dance performances. The crowd, too fell short, it was different from last year. I had fun regardless but felt like I didn't get my money's worth compared to last year.

As usual the Sensation show was spectacular and very entertaining. They turned the Barclay's Center into gigantic club. The DJs were great and the crowd had clearly a great time. The dance floor was full but not too full. It was well-managed. But aware you have to come early to get access to it. Later in the evening only people were allowed every 15m in small batches. All in all an unforgettable night and definitely recommended!

They required passports for international citizens for entry and for alcohol - this was ridiculous because nowhere on the ticket did it say that we were supposed to bring a passport. Original drivers' licenses from our home country seemed sufficient only after some argument and talks with the managers at the entrance and at certain bars. Even though they let us enter (thus verifying our age) - upon entry the bar refused to serve as they would not believe we were 21 unless we produced American ID. Sensation is an international event and attracts alot of international crowd. The authorities concerned cannot be so restrictive as to overlook any international IDs. Ticketmaster and Barclays need to be more clear about their age verification policy.

Sensation left a lot to be desired. From boring music and gimmicky décor to long lines and a lackluster crowd, Sensation left me numb, literally. It s ironic that my feet hurt that night since I did not dance for more than 20 minutes of the 7 hours I was there. I actually stood in place most of the time, which caused horrible pressure in my feet but I really could not find it in me to force myself and dance to the music being played, more European like house which is not what the Miami crowd seeks. The stage at first impression looked interesting. Fireworks, water fountains, lights and a spinning DJ booth with hanging jellyfish--- pretty cool right? NO. The dancers could not dance. They were more like parading around the stage and not enhancing the entertainment. Then, there were a couple stunt guys that were lifted in the air and shooting flames or fireworks starting spinning from behind them--- sounds amazing? NO. This little act felt a bit out of place with the theme and it was so poorly executed. I would be impressed if I saw that mediocre stunt in a neighborhood theater but not at this level of production. The photos being posted online that I have come across look spectacular but what the images cannot give you is sound or make you feel the actual atmosphere. Aside from the fact that the music was monotonous, it was extremely loud. I felt like someone forgot to do a sound check because the bass was overpowering to the point that you felt like your ears may bleed, and trust me, I love bass, but this was far beyond annoying. I could hardly take a deep breath. And though white is beautiful and I can expect that perhaps at a bliss party, I just wasn t convinced; it s been done and it was overkill. Perhaps one had to be a bit more imaginative with their attire but some attendees were not even allowed in if their shirt had too much color\u2026 not very PLUR-like. I was not shocked when people left 20 minutes into the headliner, Fedde Le Grande s act. It was not because he was bad, actually quite the contrary. He was good and I would have enjoyed his music earlier in the night or to open up for an even bigger DJ but by the time 1am rolled around, it seemed like most people were just over it. The only reason I stayed till 1:30am was because I was in a large group for a friend s birthday and we had spent a lot of money on those tickets collectively. Honestly, I would have left at 10pm but I never anticipated such a disappointment. The crowd was hardly into the event either. Everyone was on the cellphones; honestly, I ve never seen so many people on their phones in the middle of a rave. The event should have been priced at $30 and even then I would rather pay that at Space. I can only hope that this music doesn't get so mainstream that it'll just be a trend that will eventually fade out. The underground feeling of EDM is what's kept it alive for so long. Of course, there always has to be a balance but producers really have to know their audience and cater to that. Sure, Miami has a certain aura of "high-class" surrounding it (completely fake by the way and not something I'm proud of) but it does have a sexy reputation, which suited the Sensation theme but it needed to be amped up. "Ocean of White"... Needed some fish tanks with hot synchronized swimmers, or maybe not, but they could have done more. I love EDM and in no way does this failed event change my impression of the industry or will I stop attending festivals. These events are about the music and the energy from the crowd. No theatrics necessary but if you're going to have them, they better be mind blowing and fully incorporated. I personally am not crazy about Ultra because it's not 21 and over but I would have rather have been there. Take me back to TomorrowWorld. Now that was pure bliss. The music, theme, execution, crowd, simply put, EMD at its best. I expected more since both events had the same producers. Sensation\u2026 was more like an abomination.

Show started late. No signage for specified ticket holders' entrance(s) so spent too much time in a disorganized cluster only to be re-routed three times before directed to correct entrance. The biggest dissapointment was the lack of a visual show - all advertising lead us to believe that there would be an awesome light, water, fire, dance, ocean-themed cinematic adventure and we were denied any ressemblance of the "sensational" experience we paid top dollar to enjoy. On a positive note (pun intended) the music was great and the enthusiasm and anticipation in the crowd was infectious - just never got to what we were expecting. Super choice of venue and city. Hope for more next tour.

I paid $180 for this event a few months back. The first few hrs were super boring!! Until fredde le grand got on stage and killed it he did great. But besides that one hour. There was no performance just waterfall and 4 dancers. Money down the drain. I got lucky I was able to stay on the floor of the arena the whole time. But some friends got stuck in the stands and weren't able to make it to the floor area.

If I'm going to pay $175 for a one night event, you better deliver! Well, Sensation fell quite short of that!! If you are going to host an event in Miami.. home of some of the best clubs in the world, and even better music festivals.. then maybe a headliner would be a good start. Or at least 1-2 reputable acts. No offense, but Fedde Le Grand is not a $175 headliner, with 3 unknown supporting acts. The music was monotone and boring all night. Sure, the production quality was good, but a fountain and some dancers don't carry a show, so again, not worth the price of admission. Lastly, what a logistical nightmare!! You couldn't get a drink, couldn't get to the floor, couldn't get to the seats, couldn't... geez, we should have just left. Security wasn't letting people move anywhere, despite your credentials!! My friends paid for DELUXE tickets, and weren't even allowed to enter the elevated Deluxe bar area!! It was apparently 'over the weight limit!' What a joke!! That arena should have been full, even the seating area... but everyone quickly realized how frustrating the party was and left... leaving our "headliner" playing to a half empty arena. Pretty embarrassing. Sensation = FAIL. If this party comes back to Miami, they better have a couple real dj's, and more bars to purchase drinks at. They'll sell waaaay more tickets, and make waaay more on alcohol. Oh, and shutting down alcohol sales an hour before the party ended was pretty stupid too. Overall, a pretty bad experience.

We went with a large group and all purchased VIP tickets. There were only two VIP bars instead of four, so the platforms could only hold a small number of people. Which resulted in hundreds of people stuck on the bleachers. Security would not let you re enter the VIp area if you left because the fire marshall had limits on the number of people in certain areas. So our group was separated all night. The night was ruined by constantly looking for lost friends. There were port-a-poddies (disgusting). The show was sub-par. Only a few light shows and boring dancers that had a few costume changes. Nothing exciting. The only thing good was the music. Everything else was disappointing.

I have been to many electronic dance music events in Florida and I have even traveled out of state for a few as well, but, I would give up any 3 day festival just to experience a night at sensation again. Everything about this night was perfect! The vibe, the music, the production, the people and their positive energy...from the moment it began until it ended there was not 1 dull moment it was just as good for the opening DJ's as it was for the closing DJ. I watched a bunch of videos to see what to expect but you truly have to go to Sensation to experience it yourself. I was dancing from the moment the music started and until it ended, literally (9pm-2am)!!! The visuals were awesome. Each time a DJ came on they introduced them with flare. There were girls dancing (tastefully but sexy) on the stage with bubbles, balloons...they even danced in the water. It was epic to see everyone wearing white....when the lights were on to see a sea of people all together blew my mind!!! The DJ clearly wanted to be there and make sure you were enjoying yourself....interacted with audience. Also the DJ booth rotated all the way around so everyone could see them. Brilliant idea on their end! It was worth EVERY penny to experience Sensation and I would go again in a heartbeat. And suggest anyone to go too!!!

The production, and organization of the event was top notch. Totally incredible and provided a nice safe venue for the experience. The DJ lineup was fairly premium but I felt they should have had another couple big names to justify the cost. In addition it should have gone longer than 3am was a large disappointment of most fans. Lastly my biggest compliant was of the deluxe experience. Not worth the extra cost as the biggest perk was the deluxe VIP areas with access to a special bar. They ran out of vodka in the first hour, then run out of cups. Seriously?!?! That is just poor management and the fact I could get better, faster service from the regular bar area is very disappointing.

After hearing about sensation abroad for years and years now I was extremely excited to hear it was coming to the United States. The Barclays center was the perfect venue for the vent as it was brand new and all the staff was extremely friendly. The show itself was extremely well done from the water fountains, to the rotating stage, to the light show, performers and djs. They also had a bud light platinum lounge complete with sofas and multiple bars to hang out in if you needed a break from the arena.

First time at the Barclays Center and it is beautiful. The line to get in and security moved quickly. I arrived around 7:30 and was able to get on to the floor where I stayed the entire time. I'm sure the view from the seats were nice, but the energy on the floor was amazing. Although I was sold a bottle of water without the plastic cap, it worked out nicely having the free water refil stations and access to bathrooms on the floor. The music and lights were incredible, I was expecting more from the production. The pyrotechnics were cool, but random, and the performers were only on stage a handful of times. I don't know of this had any relation to the size of the venue, but the videos I have watched of sensation in other countries seemed so much more spectacular. The stage was awesome, especially when it rotated around so the entire venue got to see the DJ at work. My favorite part had to be the waterfall device that created words and images throughout the night. I had an unforgettable time with some amazing people, but I do not see myself spending $170 again for this event.

The huge central stage made for spectacular visuals in a setting that felt very close and intimate. The night was unforgettable and unlike anything else you have ever seen before.

This event is the one global party that I've always wanted to attend! I was so happy to hear that it was finally coming to the United States and it was truly amazing! If I did have one complaint however, it would be that the entire lineup was Very Housy! I love House, so don't get me wrong, but I was really expecting and hoping to hear some good trance and deep techno. I was pleased to get through a night with NO DUBSTEP, but I feel the musical selection could have been a littler broader, while still remaining within the lighter side of EDM. Overall it was still great though, and I hope it comes back!!!

Sensation Innerspace US NYC was a amazing theatrical event! Combined with the latest in lighting technology, pyrotechnics, and some of the best DJ's this event was a red letter day. Being a DJ myself and attending the event as a attendee, I was blown away. Words can literally not explain how phenomenal everything was. I have wanted to want to go to Sensation since it started back in 2000, but with it being overseas it made it quite difficult. This being the first ever in the US made one of my desires in life come to reality. I can now happily cross this off my bucket list and will continue to go to as many Sensation events as I can! Sensation, the world's leading dance event!!!!!!

Never went to a Sensation event, but I was expecting that if I purchased a VIP ticket, that I'd be able to get a seat so I could relax while experiencing the show. Yeah, I was expecting an actual SHOW, not a RAVE PARTY! From the Sensation videos, it was making it seem like there would be an actual show with people performing, lazers, pyrotechnics, animatronics etc. to view and enjoy the music. Not only did I not have a seat, but VIP ticket holders had to wait in another line in order to enter the arena, while lower paying ticket holders went straight in! I would think VIP ticket holders would get in before all other ticket holders. Also, security was pretty lax...I didn't even show them my ticket when I was in line for the VIP area! They just shuffled us along, telling us to go all the way down to the floor where there were no seats available. Even after I left, I saw many VIP ticket holders waiting to get inside, pretty much missing the show and the music! If for security resons, they only let a certain amount of people on the floor at a time, then they should only sell a certain amount of VIP tickets that would be safe for people to access, then stop selling the VIP tickets! I thought VIP is supposed to be exclusive? It should be for pretty much a Rave party that cost over 250 dollars! I just see this Sensation event it as trying to get as much money out of people for a Rave party that I could've went to in any NYC underground spot for less than 20 bucks! I guarantee regular rave parties wouldn't be selling 5 dollar water and you could have as many free glow sticks as you want! They also need to up the security for contriband....the smell of weed was astronomical!! I don't smoke at all and I felt myself getting high off the fumes! All of this with the hour and a half wait for the actual show to begin left me with a headache, so I left early. I say it's a waste of time to go VIP to one of these Sensation events, unless you're fine with spending few hundred dollars to be hit on by drunk losers, get high for free off of second hand smoke, be squised in-between strange people and don't mind standing for 8 hours or so. Go to your local underground rave party instead. You'll save tons of money...enough to buy a whole bunch of weed, ex, molly. bath salts or whatever ravers partake in these days.

The sound level on the floor was extremely low and a little better in the stands. You could barely see the DJ s, from the floor. The show could use a lot more lighting effects, to come in line with what the major nightclubs are doing today. The first three DJ s played the same mainstream house beat, and I lost interest halfway through Mr. White s set, up until Prok & Fitch s set. Prok & Fitch raised the energy level, and was the high point of the night. Fedde le Grande played it safe, and played more of the same mainstream music. Overall, definitely not worth the entrance price.

I went into this event with high hopes and expectations, both of which were met and then some. The music, lighting and showmanship was obviously well thought out and executed and made the entire event a fun and awesome time. Well done sets by Mr. White, Fedde le Grand, Prok & Fitch, and Nic Fanciulli.

Sensation White - Ocean of White was good, music was good - however I just had higher expectations because I went through and watched a lot of the previous Sensations in other cities and thus formed higher expectations which weren't met. The music was good, Fedde tore it up, I just expected more from the visuals...

I recommend going to Sensation if you like House music and prefer not too much craziness (like EDC). I felt like I was in a classy dance party! The effects and performers were pretty awesome, and it was fun seeing everyone in dressed in all white from simple to creative!

Sensation Las Vegas was incredible- so much fun. Everything was well organised and music was great. Ok tickets are spendy @ $170 but if you go to a club in LV on a busy weekend to see a big name DJ you are going to pay $60-$80 for guys and the dance floor will be so small you cant move or even get on there. Sensation had loads of room to dance and great to see so many people there for the music . Hope it comes back again. Kudos to a fun and friendly crowd.

Gates open at 6:30 but the event and first dj did not appear until 9:00, it said Mr. white played at 8:30 but everyone was behind schedule. There was not much performances other than the repetitive water show. Every hour there was a 5-10 minute performance. If I am paying $170 I want an amazing performance and performers from the ceiling (just like the other sensation videos). The music was not as I expected, if Michael Woods did not play, I would say this event was a waste of money. Honestly, I should have just gone to the Hakkasan after party because Michael Woods played even a better set there. Sensation was honestly not as amazing as I expected. The hype was greater than the actual event. I hoped for a grand finale and a grand opening. It was nothing special compared to the rest of the night.....

Horrible production. Horrible sound. Long silences. Obvious technical difficulties. They just could not get it together. Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano were so bad I thought they were intermission music. Mr. White was the only shining moment. We left.

The only DJ's that were truly amazing were Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, I would see them any day! However Sébastien Léger's set was the exact same beat over and over, very disappointing. More so the atmosphere is very mainstream with the preppy, stiletto heel heels and drunk people everywhere - felt more like a giant overpriced club venue. The design of the event was very pretty and the lighting was well done. Would've like to have seen laser's used more

I expected this event to be over the top and amazing; it didn't meet my expectations. If the ticket prices were cheaper then I would possibly think about going back, but because the price for the ticket was almost $200 and the effects/dj's weren't as great as I thought they were going to be...makes me not want to go back. It was definitely a fun experience; but the effects weren't what I expected, nor were the dj's as good as I expected for that amount of money. The opening act was Mr. White; followed by Sebastien Leger; then Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano; and lastly, Michael Woods. The last two dj's were the highlight music of the night...pretty much the highlight of the whole night for me. What I did like was I did not feel out of place for not wearing heels or dressing casual - it was about half and half with people dressing up or people wearing casual clothes.

Extremely excited to go to Sensation, and the best word to describe it was underwhelmed. The music was decent, but the visuals were lacking and were nothing like what they had in the promo material. Personnell and staff were rude and crass, and generally unhelpful. Overall, I would spend the money to go to EDC or even pay admission to a nightclub here in Vegas before I went to Sensation again.

Party got off to a verfy slow start with people just milling around looking bored. Was expecting Freddie Le Grand but didn't get him. Music was just okay but did improve as the night went on. The production and visuals were good. Deluxe tickets were a complete waste of money. We spent 5 minutes total in that area and with the exception of an "observation deck" and private entrance, there was no value whatsoever in the deluxe ticket.

If spectacular visuals are enough for you to enjoy a $200+ event, then Sensation delivers. I was skeptical when I didn't know who any of the DJs were, but figured they were well known in Europe. The music portion was such an epic fail - it was hard to enjoy the rest of the event. The sound was dated, stale, uninspired and did very little to reflect the current world market of electronic music. It felt more like a high school dance. The only DJ that was skilled and current was the last - and that was way too late in the game for "the worlds leading dance event". Several people were overheard commenting about the music selection...I heard one person say - "Can someone please plug in my iPod", "this sounds like the station next to BPM that you always skip over", and "BPM plays better music than this." The Dj selection should be carefully considered if they actually expect people to dance. I watched people falling asleep leaning against the walls, hanging out in the common atriums outside the auditorium having a better time. The event was organized well, but I can't stress enough how poor the DJ selection and skill was. Several drops, an inconsistent sound, inability to take the crowd on a true musical journey, dated music selection, cheap DJ mixing "tricks," over the top narration that felt like a bad "thriller" VoiceOver, and why the hell would one, let alone two DJ's each play the song "Around the World"? That sound is so ten years ago. Often the DJ's felt like they were hired to "pump up the crowd" with cheesy concert tactics like getting the crowd repeatedly to "make some noise" and dropping the vocal tracks in an attempt to get the crowd to sing along to an uninspired vocal selection. The after party at Hakkason delivered far better and a more entertaining music experience. While the visuals were spectacular - they were left standing on their own with out the audio support they so desperately needed to work. Also, there were some production issues with seamlessness and consistency. A "C" grade rating is all I can give this event.

The music is nice, but they've been doing the show internationally for so long... they still use the same theme design. They need to upgrade and change it up. They make 1000 off 6 people. Time for an UPGRADE GUYS!!!
