Great performances and overall very enjoyable show.. Filter is a very underrated band. They pulled off a great show with plenty of crowd interaction Helmet showed they still can play very tight and heavy. Local H was far more than I expected.

Filter rocked Jersey at the classic Stone Pony! Richard Patrick and the boys performed a high energy show and had the crowd pumped. There were songs from every CD, even three from the seminal Short Bus as well as three from the new disc Trouble With Angels. Richard was very personable and engaging and immediately (straight from stage to signing table, no diva waiting time) after the show, met fans and signed autographs for a very long line. Great show at the very intimate venue Stone Pony

Although, they were on tour to promote "The Trouble With Angels" release, almost all of the songs they played were from their best of "The Very Best Things". No, complaints though. It was really nice hearing and singing to all of their big hits. Richard Patrick was terrific and the new band members were good enough to get the job done. The best of them being the drummer, Mika Fineo, who has been in the band the longest. The set lasted about an hour and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. The coolest part was the band hanging out downstairs to meet their fans. A great night all around.

I think this version of Filter rocks has hard as the earlier versions of Filter. Richard put together an amazing group of players. They played hard. Richards vocals were in top form. Great song selection. Something from every Filter album and some . Although I do like the intimacy of smaller venues, I would like to see them in a larger venue. I'm hoping they add on more California dates. I'll drive the distance to see them again.

this show was crazy awesome. the opening acts were... meh. and actually made me a little nervous about the main show. BUT, Richard Patrick and Filter totally rocked the house and made me happy. Bowery Ballroom is an interesting venue - small enough for an intimate glimpse and large enough to feel like you're at a concert...

Filter rocked the Bowery Ballroom on August 21. This is a great setting to see a show. I highly recommend seeing them live. They have great energy level. I think my head is still ringing. The set list was perfect. They played a bunch of tunes from Title of Record mixed with a few songs from Short Bus, Amalgamut and the new album. I will definitely see them again.

I have been a fan of Filter since Shortbus and never had the opportunity to see them before and I have to say, I wish i didn't! At first I thought I was setting the bar to high, but after watching the crowds similar reaction I knew it wasn't in my head. The sound was bad, Patrick changed the songs around so much beyond recognition, and a set list full of b-sides. I love to hear songs that are unexpected on a play list, but..well...I didn't dig it! Just my opinion and will give 'em another chance.

Once again Mr. Patrick and band never disappoint and the energy was through the roof. Playing a wide variety set from just about every album you always got the impression that these guys are so into what they do -the kind of performance most bands strain to emulate .I have to say that since the Bowery Ballroom is an intimate concert venue (with a long list of epic performances) they should have had a much better engineer for the live sound. There were points where each band member stressed the lack of continuity with the stage volume- and being in the crowd i was fighting at points to seperate the instruments. With that said the individual sounds when it finally came together was amazing -I would have to say that the guitar sound was incredible-(not sure if it was the Mesa Boogie triple rectifiers pushing the live sound from the stage). If you can catch these guys it is an amazing night well worth the ticket price -which is alot to say these days.

What a night, what a show, Zooropa it's all over. Friday night's Bayfest Kaneohe was truly awesome. The right mix of crowd energy, excellent audo from the stage, enthusiasm from the band made this an unforgettable night. The interaction between lead singer Richard Patrick and the crowd was great. He even borrowed a fan's digital camera, took it on stage and proceeded to photograph his bandmates. Then he returned it o the fan after taking a snapshot with them while leaning againts the barrier facing the stage. The fight in the crowd couldn't dampen the spirit of the night. A really memorable show. Great tunes. Just ace.

I've been a very long time fan of Filter and Richard Patrick's other collaborations with different artists (e.g. - Army of Anyone, The Damning Well, etc.). I've seen them in multiple forums, typically smaller ones, and love the energy that Patrick gives off. I just wish he would play some of his more obscure (?) songs. I would have loved to hear something from The Amalgamut, but no go. Take a Picture is so over played at this point but they included it anyway, I guess to please the girlfriends/boyfriends who were dragged along with the fan and may not have heard anything else. Patrick claims to appreciate his fans but when I met him he lacked social skills, really wasn't able to converse, just sort of grunted and signed my tank top. Oh well, guess he's getting old and tired at this point.

There was two opening acts which was ok. But if I had known I wouldn't have rushed to get there. Fuel got on late and they were horrible. Then filter got on and the house was on there feet dancing and moshing around. It was a great set. Wished they would've sang "where do we go from here. Saw them in '99 in San Francisco and they still rock in 2012 in Foxboro. Band was awesome. Foxboro is my new venue. They let you get right in front of the stage. I stayed there the entire time, except when I went to the middle of Richard "surfing" in the crowd. Grabbed a hold of my arm the whole time and dragged me to the front of the stage. Was a bit scary but cool at the same time. Bass player was exceptional!!! They are worth seeing and wish they'd tour more. Still played crowd favorites. Richard greeted fans afterwards and was very humble. Closed with Hey Man, Nice Shot. Way to go. Got a couple of picks, wish their name was on it and got one of the set lists, too.

Saw Filter at Showcase Live in Foxboro, MA. They absolutely rocked. They played all the songs I wanted to hear and I left the show wanting more. Plus they are the most down to earth band I have ever seen. They connected with the crowd on so many levels from Richard Patrick crowd surfing and using fans cameras to the bass player downing a shot of Jameson from the crowd because it was his birthday. Met Richard Patrick after the show and he could not have been cooler. All in all an unbelievable show at a great venue.

Show got better as it went on.............and his band was tight.......... His voice got better as the night went on.....or it was just that he did songs that were more suited for his current range..... Glad I went.....but I'm not likely to go again..... An all around good show. The opening bands played upstairs and they were both very heavy. I especially thought Heart Set-Self Destruct was particularly good. Great vibe, great music. Saliva puts on an outstanding show and they sounded pristine in the basement. I am not a huge fan of theirs, but even I knew every song well enough to sing along. I would heavily recommend seeing them to anyone who is a fan. Filter, as always, was awesome. I actually hadn't seen them since I was 18 years old on the Title of Record tour. But Richard Patrick is still a completely awesome frontman. Whatever IT is, the guy has IT. You just can't stop watching him. And after the show he came to the Merch table and signed whatever you wanted and said hey. Pretty sweet.

Filter puts on a really good live show and I would recommend them to anyone who likes this type of music. I saw them at the Bowery Ballroom last year and they rocked that place. My head's still ringing. This time around they had a few technical difficulties in the beginning of the show which I think cut into their set list. They only played for about 1:20 minutes. That's too short of a show. They still did a great job even with all the mechanical difficulties. My only gripe with the set list was when they played Welcome to the Fold. They played the short version of that song even though the extended version is so much better. I would have liked to have seen that song drawn out. That's a 8-9 minute tune they cut it down to 3-4 minutes. I was bummed about that. All in all, I will definately be seeing Filter again when they come to town.

Caught the last few from OTHERWISE and they were very good. RED was amazing bringing intense energy and heart to their set. FILTER was lackluster right out of the gate and Richard Patricks voice was practically non existent . As a person Patrick was very personable bordering on funny- seemed like a good guy. But- as the high powered vocal front for FILTER he pretty much sucked! My guess is that 6 months of touring combined with the extreme vocal challenges of the FILTER material just beat his vocal chords into the ground. I've been to hundreds of shows and I'm rarely disappointed so this was just an anomaly of sorts. FILTER'S mark on music history is secure. They will always be a favorite and a formidable presence in my music collection. It should be noted that the Chameleon Club is a great venue! This was my third show there already this year with MAYDAY coming up as my fourth.

I have loved Filter since they first graced my ears back in the mid 90's. Richard is a genius and I hope him and his band continue to make music for a long long time. The venue was great, sound quality amazing. Very intimate. I lost my mind and rocked out to the point of exhaustion and dripping sweat. Their gratitude for their fans was so touching and compelling. They stayed after to take time to speak to every fan and I got my picture with Richard along with an autographed album. I will go see them every time they come to visit. Keep up the great work...I'm a fan forever. Middle Class Rut was fantastic as well. I had never heard of them before but was so impressed! I bought their album as well. I have always been one that needed a visual element to enjoy a live performance. Not with Filter. The lack of visuals was irrelevant. Their performance encapsulates you with the music... I was blown away by the intensity and performance Filter gave. I have been waiting years to see them headline again and the only disappointment was them not playing for 5-6 hours!! I love Filter and it was my second time seeing them. Richard Patrick has such an amazing stage presence and will continue to see Filter live whenever they're in town. They were great and I enjoyed the show thoroughly. Wish the venue had only a couple of opening bands as we were there Only to see Filter and had no interest in seeing the others.

I wasn't interested in the openers, so I only showed up for Filter. I've seen them twice this year and each time was a great show.

Filter was amazing, the wait for Filter - not so much. When we first got to the venue, we were told by Security that Filter wouldn't be coming on until 10:20 PM. Considering that the show started at 5:30 and there were about five bands playing, we figured that Filter would be on around 9 or 10 so we weren't too surprised about the time. However by the time Filter finally came out to perform, it was almost 11PM! Keep in mind, this was a Wednesday night show so my friends and I all had work the next morning, and my friend parked in a parking garage in the city that closed at 12AM, so we were very disappointed. Filter kept apologizing, and I do not blame them at all. The venue should have had the smaller bands on a very strict schedule so that this could have been prevented. Besides the wait, the show was awesome and Filter did an amazing job as always keeping the audience entertained. I even found myself enjoying the new songs that I did not know!

Filter,Otherwise and We as Human were great. Red was very average and boring. I was glad when they were done. I didn't understand why the venue had 6:30 on the ticket but didn't open the doors until about 6:50. The first band started playing before most people got into the doors. Every time I come to the chameleon club this happens.

I must say the kicker for me was that the opening acts of We As Human and RED blew Filter away.

Went to see Otherwise. If you dont know em, you should. Great band and as always rocked the place. Never disappointed. We as Human rocked the house. I dont believe too many people at the show knew who they were based on the comments in line and before the show started. I am sure they know them now. I have seen them twice and am becoming a bigger fan each day. Great performers. Cant wait to see them again. Red was a big suprise. I had never had a chance to see em live. Awesome band, very energetic. Great performers great sound. Whole place was rockin.. I left before Filter. Long day and wasnt too interested. All in all great show.

Falseta Opened up the show and they were amazing, every song was exceptionally great. Dharmata went afterwards and they were really good solid band. I had never seen them before and they were not bad, although they were a bit predictable but good nonetheless. Last but not least Filter rocked the place and the crowd was huge. I really like the fact that they really interact with their audience. I had a great time.

The Band performed well and he has new drummer and maybe new guitarist? Closes i have seen Filter and very rare they come down this far to south florida maybe 3 to 4 times at max? I bought two grey shirts that wasn't their new album coming out in june 4. and paid 25.00 for each one and the tour dates on the back never mentioned the location i saw them play sunday night. I felt disappointed by this, wanted a good remembrance and the other shirt was for a Veteran.
