Noel Gallagher is a first-rate songwriter - responsible for all of the classic OASIS material. On his tour for his second solo album (released under the "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds" moniker), he drew from both solo releases as well as some Oasis classics and B-Sides. His band was tight and the audience was on its feet throughout the entire show.

Great show, great sound quality, and a good mix of new solo tunes and Oasis classics. This was the first rock show for my 10-year-old son, and he loved it. Noel had some good banter with the crowd between songs and seemed to be enjoying the show himself. Played for nearly two hours and played nearly the entire new album. His backing band and horn section was really solid and tight, although the lead guitar could have used a bit of a volume boost. Seats were towards the back, but it's such a cool, small theater that there isn't a bad seat in the house. Staff was very friendly and helpful... just a great time overall.

The show started late. However, there was an explanation for that given by a lady over the PA. MONA the first band rocked! They are from Nashville, TN making waves across the US with Noel. I've seen them twice and both times were great. When Noel finally took the stage at 10 p.m., everyone came alive. Noel walked on stage, without a soundcheck and played 19 songs straight like it was nothing! He definitely described his tardiness having to drive 6.5 hours in a car from Los Angeles to Vegas for the show. We heard most if not all of the new Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds album and a good mixture of Oasis B-sides and fan favorites. No Wonderwall though, but Whatever instead! Whatever was a single release as a stand alone in England in 1994. Never put on a studio album. Always a favorite in Japan. Noel played it in Vegas! Supersonic was played acoustically also.

Noel was fantastic as always. He played a great mix of Oasis songs, Oasis b-sides and HFB songs (plus one, Freaky Teeth, from his album next year). Not much in the way of interaction with the crowd, but he was funny as always. What impressed me most was the sound quality in the venue. Everything was crystal clear and just fantastic.

Brilliant! Perhaps best gigs we've been to this year. Noel surpassed Oasis with an ace band who did justice to Noel's writing. Old and new. This is best he's been since the early days of Oasis. Before they started replacing members for cosmetic, not musical, reasons. All the members played wonderfully. No one stole the thunder from their bandmates. Unlike the forgettable and overly predicitable, Beady Eye, this had staying power. I left the gig high as a kite just from the power of the music. Been a while since that's happened!

Noel showed there was very much life without his brother and after all they were always his songs anyway. Great venue and a great vibe from both the audience and the band. Noel came across like he was there to enjoy himself and that sets the mood. The audience was predominantly white male and had the atmosphere of an English soccer match with chanting etc which was always the way with Oasis gigs.

I didn't know what to expect from this but it was fantastic. Noel Gallagher is as talented a rock star as you'll find anywhere and a storming 20 song set was as good value for money as you'll find anywhere. A must see.

I went to this show with my girl and we both thought the venue was beautiful and mesh that with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds makes an amazing evening, I've been to a few shows over the years and definately can tell if the sounds not right, lightings off etc etc. This venue was just about perfect for a band like Noel's sound had a bit of static during heavier songs but still amazing overall...

Noel Gallagher with his solo project incarnation Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds played a terrific concert at the Tabernacle in Atlanta in front of an adoring sold out crowd. His new material was performed with gusto and was as well received as the old Oasis classics.

It was an amazing show, to say the least. The most amazing part was getting to meet him afterwards. All the years I've been an Oasis fan, all the music, the videos, the magazine articles I've read, the interviews I've listened to... and now to be able to say the man was right in front of me, signed and autograph for me and I touched his hand... there are no words. Each song he performed he did so to perfection, and there was great in between song banter with the crowd. I loved it so much I bought tickets to see him again in Indianapolis in a couple of days. Hope to meet him again there.

Loved the way he pointed out that all the songs he played were written by him (including Oasis songs) and thought it was cool that he was so loyal to the Brits. Was impressed with a new guitar each song and the level of technical and professional focus throughout the concert. He sounds great, maybe even better than his brother - less nasal. I went as a moderate fan and left as a huge fan.

Noel was great. The band sounded tight, the singing was spot on, and the set list was perfect. Beyond the music he was entertaining as hell when he engaged the audience. As funny as you've seen him for the last 20 odd years. To boot the actual venue was pretty nice.

This was truly an unforgettable event. Many bands, musicians, and "artists" in today's music world simply lack the class and performing power that Noel Gallagher possesses. I waited by the stage door before the show and he came out and signed autographs with not only me, but other fans as well. Mr. Gallagher is such a nice person and it's not only touching but impressive that he actually takes the time out of his schedule to meet and greet his fans-all without selling a premium backstage pass like many other artists do. The venue was gorgeous, the Boston Opera House is a work of art in itself, and the acoustics were amazing. Noel came on stage and played his set, while often taking breaks to speak to the audience. It felt like he was there to play to the audience and have a good time, not so he could get paid or because he had to. The staff were also very polite, one techie was nice enough to give me the set list for the night. Even if you don't know his music, if you ever have the chance to see Noel Gallagher, take it.

He is brilliant. All his songs are good. The only issue he likely faces is which songs he should do because he's been a brilliant songwriter for 20+ years and has written many classics.

I like Oasis but sometimes you just have to accept and move on. Noel is an amazing songwriter and performer with an excellent band and does not need to look back. I saw Beady Eye in concert and I can tell you that Liam needs Noel but Noel is doing just fine on his own. In fact, reunions are usually disappointing and if you don't need the money you're better off looking forward. And I like that his music is not Oasis 2.0 but that he includes a few old hits. He's also smart and witty.

Yes, Mr. Gallagher didn't disappoint at all! Amazing show. He was a little late due to a flight out of L.A. being cancelled. So they had to hire a car and drive him 6 hours through the desert and get him to the show an hour late. No soundcheck, just walks on stage plugs in and plays for an hour and a half! Legend! With only a Burger King value meal on his stomach too! All the great Noel classic songs mixed with most of the new album bar Stop The Clocks. Sound was great! I had 3rd row seats. Great night with my buddy who lives in Vegas!

Noel's recipe for success is delivering the goods time and time again. He's assembled a fantastic supporting cast with his High Flying Birds and as the concert went on, the spotlight shone on them as much as him. Mikey Rowe's work on the Melotron was amazing and Jeremy Stacey's drumming seemed laughibly effortless throughout the show. While Oasis only featured Liam and Noel on vocals, Noel has bassist Russell Pritchard and guitarist Tim Smith incorporated on songs at all times. I've seen Oasis/Beady Eye at a bunch of different venues and I have to say that Noel's new lineup sounded better now than anything in the past. As for the venue, The Pearl's acoustics were very good for the guitar laden group, however I would say that opening act Mona had the sound just a bit off for their speedier songs. That may have been a soundboard issue more than the theater, though. Overall, amazing night!

The show was amazing. Noel's voice was in great form, and his new band are very good. The setlist had a great mix of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Oasis material. There were great moments of banter between Noel and the crowd. The only problem was the jerks in the crowd yelling out for Liam and calling out for Oasis songs that it was clear he wasn't going to play. Oasis is my favorite band of all time, but if Noel keeps putting out great records and performing awesome shows like this one I for one would not be disappointed. Worth every penny, and then some.

I found Noel to be aloof and I understand that this might be his persona and so I accept it. His album has a wonderful sound to it and the band reproduced that well. The highlight for me were the Oasis songs, especially "Don't Look Back in Anger."

I have been an Oasis fan since 1995 and seeing Oasis live in Phoenix in 2005 was amazing! Seeing Noel was equally as amazing, if not better in some ways. The genius of Oasis is finally shining on his own! Noel was funny, bantering with the crowd and blowing us away with his solo tunes. He also did some Oasis songs, which, let's face it...all Oasis fans love to sing along at the top of our lungs! And that we did! Well, the true fans sang along with every song he performed. Overall, it was a fantastic show with Noel at the top of his game, sounding better than ever and leaving me with a high that won't soon go away! I hope he keeps coming back to play in Arizona...

I've seen amazing performances, and this one was worthy of high marks. All the tunes were well executed, and the light show really seduced me, but I walked away thinking it should have been more about the music in the end (the band as a whole needs to develop their own presence rather than rely so much on effects). I think the audience was more into it than Noel anticipated. He started loosening up with the incredibly rowdy fans later in the performance, when at points it became a raucous group sing-along. Entirely appropriate to his anthem-style of music composition. All-in-all it was a delicious moment in rock history; to be in the presence of greatness (minus Liam & Co.).

The venue was small, in a good way. There were about nine rows of seats and the remaining area was standing room only. Noel was amazing the entire night, engaging with the crowd and perfoming above expectations. If I had one complaint, it was that he didn't sing more; the setlist was large(like 20 songs), but I just wanted more. I saw Oasis in Chicago in 2005(great concert), but this blew that away. I will go to another concert at this venue, it helped make this concert special by providing the perfect atmosphere.

1-Venue: The Beacon Theatre is a great venue, looks small from the outside but looks very glamorous and comfortable inside. 2-The Band: This is not Oasis, but I think is as close as it gets. As a fan, I've heard many Oasis songs with Noel's voice. So, having the chance to hear some of our fav songs again was amazing. Noel's new songs are very good, especially if you enjoy great melodies and well made lyrics. Some songs could use Liam's voice, but overall, the mix of old and new songs was balanced and the crowd was loving every bit of it. 3-I have to say I was impressed with how many songs they delivered in a single concert. They didn't wasted any time trying to look like rock stars. They just proved it with every song.

Noel's new songs are good, but his old songs (Supersonic, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger) are superb and worth the price of admission. Royce Hall is a great place to see a show, with good sight lines and good acoustics. Noel's light show really detracted from the show. The bright lights at the back of the stage were pointed straight into the faces of the audience. I don't like being blinded every ten seconds.
