Building 24 is a nice venue for this annual show - much better than past venues at the Crowne Plaza (particularly the tent!). The room is comfortable, with table service prior to and during the first part of the music. Musicians can vary from year to year (and from show-to-show - there are four shows during each annual Berks JazzFest event), but there are a number of mainstays (in addition to Gerald Veasley). 2017 was the first year the JazzFest folks published a listing of musicians in advance (notable about past events was that it seemed like a "pick-up" event, with musicians deciding last-minute whether to participate). The flavor of the music depends on the musicians present for any individual tune. Sometimes, it's jazz classics, sometimes if might be an original tune by one of the musicians on the stage. It's somewhat of a "crap shoot", in that sense, but always with lots of talent on stage. Normally, the show goes until 2AM. This year, the house shut things down at 1:45.

Gerald Veasley and his Jam Company... WOW! These guys drifted in and out of the place for two hours and rocked the crowd until we had to be kicked out! Do not miss a Veasley Midnight Jam Session when you come to Reading!

Sorry to miss Steve Cole, But Nick Colionne and rest of group put on a great dynamic show. Food choices were good and food was above average

Loved the Midnight Jam. I will definitely be returning next year...for SURE!!!
