Great Show, amazing set...old and new...new drummer is phenomenal. The entire band was the best I've ever seen them!

One of the best live acts I have ever seen. You could tell the band was having as good a time as the crowd. It was one night I will not forget!

This is the fifth time I have seen the lads and they ALWAYS manage to put on a terrific show! The crowd ranges from teens to retirees and has a fantastic energy. If you are looking for a few hours of great rock music, be sure to catch the SawDoctors on their next trip to the States!

The Saw Doctors are always great but last night at the Fillmore was at another level all together. I recommend highly that you see this fine band in concert. You get so much for your money!

The Saw Doctors were super entertaining. They Played all the hits and some new surprises.

This was the first I've seen the band in 2 years & they didn't disappoint! About 5-6 new songs were interspersed with old favorites. Davey, Leo & Anthony were in fine form, and the (new to me) drummer & keyboardist were great additions to the band. I had forgotten how after one of their shows, not only am I hoarse, but my face hurts from the constant smiling!

Excellent show. These guys are true professionals. Most bands putting on a 2 hour show gets boring after awhile. Saw Doctors keep you moving the entire time. Watch out for the Irish they are there in drones.

I enjoyed the Saw Doctors show at Magic Bag. They were amazing and the crowd was jovial and loud. Crowd participation made the concert something to remember!

Although the band did not come out to their customary "Star Trek" theme, nor did they start off with N17, but the concert was amazing. The Pearl Jam show at the Q obviously lessened the normal crowd that showed up last night, but it was great to have some room to enjoy such a great show.

Intimate setting and great songs. It was like meeting up with old friends at the pub and sharing wonderful songs and stories.

Once again, the lads delivered an awesome performance. Great energy and great tunes - you do not want to miss!

The Saw Doctors performance at the Cape Cod Melody Tent was truly awesome. It is a great venue for a group like them. The sound was incredible. I only wish it didn't end.

I've seen the Saw Doctors a few times at The Vic in Chicago, but they were in rare form on Saturday night in Hyannis! Davy and Leo sounded incredible. The Melody Tent was packed full, and the band played all the favorites, along with a few newer songs. Loved the Sugababes cover "About You Now"! And the encore was amazing! First time I've heard a band come back and play that many songs for an encore. If you haven't seen them play in Hyannis, you've got to go!

Venue was very appealing with the tent and rotating stage. Not a bad seat in the house. No matter where you were seated, you were no further than 50 feet from the rotating stage. Have seen the Saw Doctors about 30 times and they never dissapoint. The heat of the night and the temperature outside just seemed to make them play better. A great night all around!!

The Saw Doctors played for 2 hours straight in the blistering heat and they were great!! I really enjoy their music!!

This concert is one of the best at the Melody Tent. The Saw Doctors energy and the crowd's energy is awesome. All the favorite songs are played and with excellent precision ! It's so much fun !

As usual, the Saw Doctors filled the Tent with energy and great music. The sold out crowd was on their feet singing along to some of the band's best songs. Year after year, the crowd keeps coming back. This band does not disappoint!!

A las August on the Cape is warm. How unfortunate for the Saw Doctors... however. The heat did not deter them. The performance began to heat up as soon as the first note was struck. I went with my family, husband, sons and their wives/girlfriend. We had a ball. We will never miss the opportunity to participate with the SD again. Our friend Jack Craddock reports his cousin is the AMAZINGINGLY talented drummer. So now we call the SD ' couzin'...the boyos were terrifc!

Awesome!! So much enthusiasm. So much energy. They look as if they love every minute they are playing. If they had played 2 or 3 nights in Norfolk I would have gone every night, The tickets were so cheap--I would have paid 4 times the price, They put on such a great show and include so many songs it was amazing. Hope they come back to this area next year, if not I'll travel to see them. What a great time!

The Saw Doctors played the Silver Spring Fillmore Thursday night. I have been to quite a few new venues in the area, thanks to this band from Galway. I have seen this band about 15 or 20 times in 2 countries, 5 states, and the District or Columbia over the last few years. I leave every show happy - the music, the high energy, the crowd and band feeding it back and forth - it all works together to make each show different and memorable. The show was general admission, with a few bar tables up top and around the edges of the floor. The dance floor was open to standing fans, which is the preferred arrangement, allowing for dancing. As usual, there were ample invitations for audience participation. Loved the new drummer, Rickie O'Neill.

It was amazing. Super high-energy. One of the best live shows I've ever seen!

Show was great - Fillmore was a really good venue - small and comfy, but speakers and everything else were more than adequate. Played almost every song off of Sing a Powerful Song - which I think was a big plus.

This was my 3rd Saw Doctors show and like good wine,they get better with age.The new drummer has added a youthful spark to their live performance. I look forward to their next stop at the Norva.

The new drummer was a great surprise. The setlist was great and their enthusiasm unbelieveable.

Having seen the Saw Doctors on two other occasions and really liking them, this performance was everything expected. A great nights entertainment.

Had a fab time. show was great, the band sang old and new songs.

The band was very lively but i was very unhappy to be kept waiting for over half an hour with no comunication as to why or when it would start

The crowd, an all-ages amalgam, was pumped! As soon as the Doctors hit the stage, everyone was on their feet and stayed up the whole night. The boys seemed a little surprised at the energy, initially, which is surprising given how they have rocked this venue for decades, but it was clear that they had no problem feeding off it and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere and each other . They played a nice mix of their older and newer tunes, and it quickly turned into a very large sing-song on many of the numbers with the crowd roaring the lyrics as they swayed and danced. The revolving stage added to the enjoyment, as w got to see them differently. seeing Davy, Leo , and Anthony who front the band in traditional settings, from the side or even the back, added dimension to the night, but the real treat was getting to watch Kevin and Eimhin from a different vantage. A statement of the obvious: Eimhin is an absolute monster on the drums, and seeing him work his commanding magic on the skins from a different angle confirmed his skill and enthusiasm. It was one of the most joyous, fun, moving evenings that I have in my long career of concert-going (began with Dylan in Hartford in '65). While I expected a good time, The Saw Doctors served up a truly special experience.

Absolutely loved the show and these guys are pretty amazing! I bought my husband tickets to see the Saw Doctors for they are his all time favorite Irish band. To be honest I have to say I used to make fun of him when he would listen to them in the car. The kids and I would grimace when ever he would listen to their CD. Over time the music would start to grow on you but still not a die hard fan. Saw them another time with him @ the Nokia Threatre some years back but stood the whole time, not my cup of tea. They were good but I was still not a fan. Seeing the Saw Doctors this time at Westbury where we had fantastic seats three rows from the stage was perfect. The Saw Doctors are engaging with wonderful personalities and their music is something to appreciate. I now can say I am a fan, I loved the show they put on and just love their accents. Now I will have to find something else to make fun of my husband for, LOL Thanks for putting on a great show and we will see them again and again <3

I have never had such a great time at a concert and I have been to a lot of them. The band was into it and the energy in the room rocked. The whole theatre on its feet. What a blast. No throw aways in their set. I would go see them again and again.

I first saw the Docs in 1997, so they had already been touring the states for 6 years. The Westbury show was as exciting as the first show I saw (and Sunday night was the 18th time I've had the privlege). I learned that apparently this was the last gig of a brief 20th US anniversary tour, and what a way to go out! The Docs had to work hard to get the crowd out of their seats, but by the end, virtually everybody was up and dancing and singing along as usual! The usual standards were of course played, and played well, but I also loved the select songs they played from their newest CD, The Further Adventures Of The Saw Doctors, clearly their best CD in a long while- 'Songs and Stars', 'Indian Summer', and 'Goodbye Again' especially. Loved it and hope to see them again real soon!!

I love seeing bands in smaller venues and most times I'm not familiar with the performers. I just You Tube Them and listen. I have discovered so much new (to me) music. The Saw Doctors are just such a band. I fell in love with their music the 1st time I heard it, enjoy their CD's and now love them live. This was the 1st of, what I hope to be, many more performances. Who knows, maybe even in Ireland.

The lads were great! Played a great mix of old and new - crowd was totally energized! My only complaint was not with them, but with the venue - the tkts said 7:00pm - we were there on time thinking the concert started then - but the Saw Doctors didn't come on till about 10:10pm...and there was an opening act that wasn't advertised...we would have went later in the evening if we had more clarification on the start time...more money for the Stone Pony in "beverage" sales but frustration for our party of 5!

ALWAYS ON TOP OF THEIR GAME. AWESOME SOUND AND SONG SELECTION. VERY FAN FRIENDLY. YOU CAN USUALLY RUN INTO THEM BEFORE AND AFTER THE SHOW, AND THEY SIGN AUTOGRAPHS, TALK TO YOU, AND EVEN HAVE A DRINK WITH YOU AFTER THE SHOW. THEY GIVE IT 100% EVERY NIGHT. A TRULY GREAT BAND.

There is nothing in the world like this show. Every one should experience The Saw Doctors live--Stone Pony was a great venue.

We r big fans, having seen the Thursday show in Hyannis as well. But I think the Stone Pony is a perfect venue for these guys. Intimate, good location, bars, etc. I hope they keep coming back here!!

Stone Pony Aug. 13th Saw Doctors - love the band but 10 pm start time for a 7 pm concert? We had to leave by 11:15 so we could drive the babysitter home; felt like we missed half the concert and probably some of our favorite songs. Too bad because we LOVE them and have been enjoying their music for years!!

Start to finish action with no breaks in the frenzie. The synchronized set was perfectly executed. Great Show to take a group especially first timers.

My boyfriend and I went to a Saw Doctors concert in Chicago for one of our first dates three years ago, and every time we see them again, it brings back very special memories and feelings....I hope they keep playing forever so we can continue to see them!

Surely one of the best live bands playing at present. Great shows, great atmosphere and a friendly audience.

Not too crowded which was terrific for us-easy access to bar and bathrooms. We have seen The Saw Doctors at least 8 times, and they never disappoint. We usually see them play in Chicago but loved seeing them in Indianapolis--hope to see them in this same venue again next year!!

as with last year's performance, the Cleveland HOB is an ideal venue for the Saw Doctors brand of entertainment as it is larger enough to create an atmosphere but small enough to allow interaction between the crowd and the band (which this year included Leo reading out a request from one of the fans to ask his girlfriend to go to the Prom with him, resulting in a thunderous ovation)

absolutely wonderful show in a beautiful old theater - the saw docs rocked it out, did a fantastic show and the venue was absolutely one of the best in which to see a concert. would have been nice not to have to pay outrageous prices for drinks/snacks/etc., but...

One of the greatest Irish rock bands. From the rural West of Ireland thy bring blue collar lyrics & tremendous energy. Sometimes wistful, sometime angry, sometimes satirical their work is a look at the stresses of living the blue collar agrarian dream in a hi tech wold that's passing you by. Reminiscent of an Irish Soringsteen the energy is undeniable. Simple moments like leaving home when you feel the disenfranchisement of your Catholic education, hungover mornings at mass checking out girls but praying little, anthems for a homeland loved and missed; they all are delivered with pure energy. That and the basic everyday life depicted in the lyrics makes a connection with each member of the crowd that not every band achieves as they do.

One of the best Irish rock bands for years. In this way and in the pure energy of their shows they remind you of Springsteen for the Emerald Isle. Wether it's leaving home after realizing the promises of your Catholic school education weren't to be, recalling hungover days going to mass to see a particular hot girl but pray little, or rock an anthem of a long missed but always loved home, their lyrics and energy speak to each individual in the crowd like few bands do.

Saw Doctors were amazing as usual. Played all the favorites, and played for over 2 hours. Love them, and the highlight was Leo's son Jimmy playing with the band....LOVED IT!!

Never a dull moment each song tells a story and the crowd loved every minute! Excellent energy! The staff at the TLA were great too!

SEEN THE BAND OVER 50 TIMES,AND ALWAYS RECOMMEND.THIS TIME HOWEVER THEY PLAYED TOO MANY SLOW SONGS FOR MY LIKING AND ALSO FOR THE SAW DOCTOR "VIRGINS" I SAW AT THE SHOW BUT STILL GIVE AN 8 RATING OUT OF 10.

From the start, the Saw Doctors owned the Stone Pony. They played all their usual songs, and the adoring crowd was into the concert from the very start. It was abundantly evident that they were happy to be at the Pony, and it looked as if the wild audience participation happily shocked them. The intimate setting fostered the emotional link between band and audience . The only issue I had was the extreme loudness - but I was standing in the middle in the second row - so it was all good. For a really fun time, go see these guys.

The lads were in rare form last night - the crowd was electrified. The opening band, the Latchikos. were and absolute blast and got us all going, singing and dancing. By the time Sawdoctors took the stage - we were ready! They played all my favorites (except -once again- NOT World of Good). They played Claire Island and Green and Red of Mayo back to back. But the encore was amazing - they had the Latchikos return and played N17, a 15 minute Bail-em, - They played for ever. Concert began at 8 and ended at midnight. Loved every minute.

As per usual, it was another great performance by the most hardworking under-appreciated band from the west of Ireland. The boys had the crowd in a lather from the opener (Macnas Parade) to the finale (Hay Wrap w/ an infusion Springsteen's Glory Days).

This has to be one of the best places to experience The Saw Doctors. They never disappoint in their performances. They make you feel like they've just showed up especially for you. Too much fun.

I have been attending 2-3 Saw Doctors concerts per year since 2003, but I have missed their trips to the USA the past two years. What was I thinking? As the show started, I realized that seeing the Saw Doctors in concert is simply the most fun experience I can have. The music is as good or better than ever, and their irreverent personalities, sense of humor, and overall "Irishness" are just a joy.

Absolutely great craic! They always put on a good show. Super song set. My friend had never seen the Saw Doctors before & he loved it.

Great songs to listen to with a few beers but the beer at the Fillmore is $9.00 so had to curb my thirst. I'll go to the pub first next time.

15th or so time seeing them. There is no other band I have seen so happy to be performing. I will see them whenever I can. MD guv as a cameo is pretty cool. Second time I've seen that. The first time I saw them in 2004 I listened to a new live recording of their's on the ride up and thought it was awful. Then I saw them. Wow.

The lads never fail to put on a show that you will be talking about for days. This year's show included a guest spot from Maryland's Governor O'Malley rocking out to Hay Wrap. Can't wait until their next US tour!

I have seen the Saw Doctors several times at the Nokia Theatre and Westbury. This was by far the best Venue and concert. They were incredible. Great music, great fun and a great bunch of guys. Seeing them on the streets of Huntington before the show as unassuming as can be, made me respect them even more. They didn't shy away from a chat with fans and were very cordial. I've been a fan for years, but now moreso than ever! I am also now a fan of the Paramount!

Saw the Saw Doctors rock the Stone Pony - my second time seeing them. They were even better this time - played all the known numbers and many others - really tight, well structured songs and played with terrific acumen. Loved the lead guitarist - has the divil in his eye, and the new drummer is FANTASTIC. Multi-talented group that kicked off my St. patrick's day weekend in grand style.

The Saw Doctors rocked the house once again!!! Great Show...great night!

Great Band, Great Crowd...a wee bit o' Ireland in Boston

Its 25 years since i first seen the saw doctors in co donegal.After emigrating to america , this band is a must see for me as it heals my longing for home .As always the new album songs fitted into the show perfectly and was mixed greatly with the classics ! The effort put in by the band is as always great and its easy to see why their following grows and grows.All ages are there , and can associate these songs to some part of their lives , or make them imagine they were back there again ! Keep it going and ill be there again when they return.

I have seen the Saw Doctors numerous times. They always put on a fantastic and fun show. They are the "Irish E- Street Band". Their energy and spirit are infectious. Beware--see them once and you will absolutely need to go again!!!

The Saw Doctors concert at the melody tent was fantastic, their best ever! As always, they whipped the crowd into a frenzy with their "sing-along" style to the best lyrics and melodies ever written. Their high energy output keeps you on your feet throughout as they absorb you into their music. The highlight show of the summer!

The concert was a lot of fun and the Saw Doctors certainly gave me my money's worth, but man were they loud. My ears are still ringing!

Once again the Saw Doctors delighted the Cape Cod crowd. It seems as if they truely enjoy playing in Hyannis. The new songs that were introduced were a little hard to understand, I think part of a Saw Doctors concert is being able to sing-a-long and obviously that's hard to do with newer songs.

Of the dozens we've been to this was absolutely one of the best Saw Docs shows we've ever seen!!! Crowd response blew the band away, they were visably amazed. There's no better place to experience the Saw Doctors than the Melody Tent.

Excellent show, we will be back next year. Great venue.

The Boys were Brilliant as usual... They never let thier fans down... This was our 10th show... We traveled from New York to see them in Hyannis... The venue is really great... BUT, they have absolutely terrible beer there... The wife got Sam Adams Summer Ale... It was so sour, just awful... I got a Guinness (Can)... Could not drink it, it was bad... I got the guinness over Miller Light... Not sure Miller Light is really a beer... How about a Harp or Schmitiks for a sold out event... Especially when the Irish come to town... Coming to see the Best Ireland has to offer, and expect at least a good beer...,

Outstanding show, it was a sold out show and everyone had a GREAT time.

The Sawdoctors put on a great show! but, I am a senior who have been following them for yrs and paid for our seats but did not sit in them all nite,the whole tent of people were standing all nite!!!!! we could not see them because of that. but today I have a sore throat from enjoing them so much............next time we know they are coming, we will bu our tikets earlier,maybe then we can see them from our seats,,,,,,,,,,

The Saw Doctors are absolutely incredible. Their show was the most high energy, genuine, and exciting concert I've ever seen. If you're ever lucky enough to have an opportunity to see them, don't pass it by .. they're unique and immensely talented.

Had the opportunity to see the Saw Doctors in Philly this year with two friends who had never heard any of their music. The Saw Doctors have two new fans in the Philly area. A great show with a lot of energy. Hope to see them again later this year.

The Saw Doctors were great on Saturday night at the Boston House of Blues. A very high level show, it seems the band genuinly enjoys playing Boston and their enthusiasm showed it.

Gandalf Murphy & the Slambovian Circus of Dreams started the show and they where great. They really got the crowd reved up. Then the Saw Doctors they where absolutely amazing. I loved the show they played all there great songs and alot of new tunes. Awesome job!!!
