Chavez

I felt like I had been let in on a secret the minute Chavez started playing. They have figured out a way to write the most magnificent pop songs but package then in a way that is intriguing to those of us who don't want to listen to Top 40 Radio. The playing was immaculate and the sound was spot on -- I really felt like I was listening to them on record -- last but not least, the set list was all of their best work to date. When Chavez rolls back through NYC, which will hopefully be soon, I suggest - nay, DEMAND that you go see them!
